Bought from Johnstons for years, best quality excellent products. Humanly treated animals. It looks like the bad review came from a Vegan. I'm sure she would enjoy corn silage.

I thought I would edit my original post and elaborate more since I now know my review has been read by “staff members”. Johnston’s is Chilliwack’s #1 hiring and firing company. If you’re seeking long term employment, they’ll make it (more like a woman who’s name begins with an M) so you won’t pass probation which is why the place is a revolving door. They demote instead of promote and use unfair tactics that are against union rules such as pre selecting people for open positions but telling them to keep hush before the posting is closed which doesn’t give a fair advantage to those with seniority. On a good note, if you are European you’ll be favored

Low quality at a high price. Didn't know what products where what. The place is a mess. The employees are treated badly. Shop around, and you will find better quality products at a much more reasonable price. The other ratings on here are fake profiles to cover up the bad reviews, if you go on the profiles you will see that they only rated this place. The animals are treated badly, and they even process the dead ones. In my opinion, shop around.

I used to work for Johnstons at the meat plant in promontory so I know what goes into everything that they make and I have to say that they really do have local and fresh products. Though my employment was short with the company (for my own reasons) they were a great company to work for and always encouraged and taught me how to do tasks the proper way. I now work at a place that sells their meat and I have to say that it is DELICIOUS... I always find myself buying a pack of their pepperoni during every shift because it is the perfect and tastiest snack!!! Highly recommend visiting their butcher shop as well as their Rib Shack! Great job guys! #supportlocal

Seems unprofessional that they can't get any orders right, and if they do, sour bacon and sour ham. I will not be ordering from them again.

Unsafe ,Tainted finished products, The Processing plant is run like a circus, and employees are treated terribly. Way too many bosses that all get paid to show up. I've seen them push rotten, smoked products right from the processing plant that aren't even local! chances are if you eat their bacon its shipped in from Europe, or if you eat their ribs you might as well buy from Maple leaf or Britco because Johnston's buys from them, opens the box, puts them into a Johnston box and then sell it as a Johnston's product, ask someone who works for them. Overall i would stay away from this rag tag operation if you don't want to end up hugging the toilet at some point thereafter.

I absolutely love Johnston's bacon & garlic farmer sausage! Nothing starts off breakfast right more than their bacon & farmer sausage! Yum!!

This is a processing plant but they definitely have the best pork around. You can purchase it at several shops in the Fraser Valley and other stores in the Lower Mainland. Well worth it.

I've had nothing but amazing products from Johnston's. They are very friendly on the phone and always go above and beyond for their customers. They have the best bacon and smokies you can find. Love the motto "Fresh, Local, Quality". They really do embody that statement. ????

So lucky to be able to get fresh local pork right here in Chilliwack from Johnston's and my grandsons love eating their bacon! They would have it with every meal if they could!
