Great grocery store! Get food here all the time! I would recommend doing grocery’s here as the staff are friendly, the store is clean and the shelves are well stocked. They usually have decent fruit and veggies and if they don’t have a cut of meat you like the butcher will usually cut one for you. Also the cashiers are quick. I would highly recommend doing grocery’s here. The parking lot is also spacious. Really good sweet and sour pork from the hot foods area.

I find this store more pricey then most others, and *not* necessarily for better quality. I have found that the store is dirty many times I have been there. I also find the store out of the way, for those who have no transportation ie..car or taxicab at their disposal.

I shopped here for the last time today. For the third time in the last few months, I encountered a "sale" the store had posted but wouldn't honour. Each time, there are some "exceptions" (never written anywhere) that prevent them from processing the transaction. Their prices are higher to begin with and this particular item is cheaper regular price at other stores in town than their sale price would have been. It's convenient to me, but I would much rather drive across town for better prices and sales I can actually expect to have honoured. Seriously, save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

NOT RECOMMENDED!!! They keep selling expired products. When I brought them back for a refund one of the employees gave me a hard time. Disgusting! I contacted head office and all they do is say they will pass on the complaint. Then they do nothing. I don't know if it's all Sobeys that do this, but at this one it happened to me multiple times. I should have called the health department instead of sobeys. They will make people sick! They don't care tho. BAD COMPANY!!

Great store - a bit expensive but they have amazing baked goods and fresh made bread. I went to this location to grab something quick to eat and I have noticed they sell hot food so I grabbed one of their meal deals for 3.99, And it was delicious the chicken tenders were fantastic very flavorful potato wedges were nice and crisp from the outside Coating. If you’re looking for a quick bite to eat before heading out of town I definitely suggest Sobey’s meal deals. They also have different sides so you don’t need to have potatoes wedges. And overall very clean store friendly staff great food just a little overpriced on certain things

All Sobeys are great. This one isn't the best though. It's a bit disorganized and the staff are not as friendly or helpful as at other stores. The one in Blenheim is better. But it's still a great place to buy groceries if you know what you want and how to find it.

Great store. A bit expensive but nice delhi and hot food section. Top of the line produce as well. The only reason it is getting a 4 out of 5 is because i saw someone in there filling up there knapsack with meat. Then when i was checking out the guy ran out of the store. I told the kid checking me out that he has a knapsack full of meet and he just shrugged his shoulders and said "i dont get paid enough to deal with that". Maybe a reason prices have increased?

Just moved to the Chatham area from the GTA and despite us being under "lockdown", I can still go to Sobeys and have a normal, wonderful shopping experience. Even on weekend's when there's a security guard out front, they're so kind and friendly. Honestly, thank you Sobeys Chatham!

Cashier made a comment as we walked up to checkout our groceries, "oh no masks?" Then from that point on was completely ignorant. The customer infront also felt the need to try and shame me and my gf, 2 perfectly healthy people for not wearing a mask. I called the manager after getting home and I was livid. I made the argument that if it was an issue we should have been refused entry by the first employee at the door. Dan the manager stated "they are not allowed to tell You to wear a mask" and that this should have never happened and he was going to talk to the old lady the cashier.

Much more expensive than other stores. A poor selection too. They provide flimsy paper bags that are not at all strong AND they charge 15 cents for each one! They get the bags for less than a penny and over Hargett for each one. Absolutely ridiculous. We don't shop at Sobeys anymore even though it's so close. None of the other stores charge 15 cents a bag.

The rotisserie chicken was awful. No spices, herbs, no flavoring at all. Terrible. The wedges were good though. It's a kinda small store and not enough variety. So disappointed in the chicken. What a waste of money. And they only have paper bags and charge you 15 cents each!! Like come on!! And the bags rip right away. What a disaster! No thanks. Not shopping at Sobeys!

Sobeys Is the place where I get sweet treats and refreshing drinks. I'm rating it a 3 star because of the overall ignorance of the imployees as It seems their always too interested in talking to each other and NOT to us. Still though, Sobeys Is a good place to do shopping if your looking for a few items in pirticular, but Groceries can cost up to $300 here.

Good & fresh organic vegetables I got today compared to weekdays and other stores in Chatham. I never seen organic cauliflower . Butter organic only available in salted need unsalted. Coconut oil brands holding are not that much good their price also high . In Toronto only in some Indian groceries I have seen those. Really many people switching to Coconut oil as their cooking oil even in Chatham.

The store is clean, the staff is friendly, and the selection is great. Why the single star? Sobey's Chatham is the only place I shop where my debit card almost never works. Tap, insert, swipe -- makes no difference. Unfortunately (both for me and for Sobey's Chatham), I will be shopping at the Superstore in future. I never have any problem with my debit card there.....

Please can you remove them from the front entrance this is a foul smell. It is no place for this kind of atrocity your company is much better than this so please can you do something about it. Store is clean and well organized. But I feel compared to other stores their prices are quite high. There is not many customers in the store shopping during we days. Their prices are dollars more then other stores. But their sales are usually good prices. I generally just go to Sobey's for the sale items.

Employees are ALWAYS more interested in each other , instead of the customers. Never willing to look up items in stock room even when shelves/ items are empty. Is Sobeys not on computer system that they could check for the customer if something is truely OUT or if employees have not had time to stock shelves?. You just get comments like ...that everything we had was put out...guess not much sense having a stock room, employees can't possibly know every item off top of their head and the levels of stock Overpriced but always has great hours. I've seen the post outside for cherries $3.99lb great price for this days,right! Go in ,sorry....sold out. Sobeys in Chatham super over priced versus Windsor, London....Some customer service a nice, some run as far as you could. Been patriotic, go there for 2 reasons: is clean and supportive for Ont farmers # got to love them!
