The store is always dirty and smells really bad. I bought a pair of jeans there and never again. They have a very strong musty smell that will not come out. I couldn't notice the smell in the store, my scent must have been use to the stentch of the store.

I find the store has really good prices but it lacks in customer service. However, none of the staff have been rude just ignore you. The one thing I do hate is the homeless people that ask for money outside in the parking lot. I have felt scared in the evenings and am glad they have security in the parking lot.

My favorite place to buy groceries for years, but unfortunately I have to prepare for the parking lot every time I go. I like to go later in the evening because it's less busy, but the homeless are out of control. I am approached by strung out homeless men every time I go. I will load groceries into my vehicle, turn around and they are right in my face. I am not afraid of them in the slightest but other woman that go, especially with young children should be concerned. The security at this place needs to change. When I was there last week there where were a bunch of them sitting inside by the carts harassing everyone in the store.. completely unacceptable. We should feel safe going to get groceries. I understand the store is in a bad location near the injection site, but security needs to step it up.

After having a Turkey Roll go bad, I decided to go to the Superstore to buy the Roast chicken,meal deal. So, 1 toasted chicken, 2 salads,and dinner rolls. After telling the cashier 3 times, it was the meal deal, it was still rung in separately. The receipt looked wrong so I went to customer service. The first thing the lady at customer service said was, well it's very little difference money back. So, my question is, why are the tills ringing in this Roast chicken meal deal Separately?It looks suspicious to the customer, who then has to go to customer service and get them to ring it up on a hand calculator. The lady was snippy on top of it. It's Thanksgiving Day. I didnt need this when I had already heard of two other issues this weekend that were not good. I have basically avoided this store for months because the last time I was there , an older man ran into the back of my car with a cart. We were backing out, so I guess he didn't see us. I'm glad he didn't get hurt .My car still has a paint scratch from the cart. The atmosphere in this particular store has gone from negative to very negative. So, I still get gas at the pumps, but I'm seriouly, thinking it's time to get groceries at another grocery store . It's just not worth going here anymore.

The other day I was in Superstore and had to get change so that I could get a cart. An employee was able to unlock the cart for me so I didn't have to get change. The same day the cashier was wiping down her station and she had such enthusiasm. I knew she was taking my safety seriously. I left the store knowing I met two great people there.

PC Express is extremely frustrating at this location. As others have written, it doesn’t matter what time slot you have, how far in advance you order or if your a PC Insider - you WILL get the phone call saying they’re “running behind”. This means you may/or may not get your order at all on the day you scheduled. This has happened at least the last 3 times I’ve ordered in the last 2 months, often with pick up not being until the next day and don’t even get me started on the substitutions and unavailable products (often found by walking into the store myself - on the shelf where they always are). This service is becoming more and more frustrating and my complaints to customer relations have gone unanswered for over 2 weeks. Management or head office: do something to help your staff. Limit the time slots to fit your staffing levels, increase your staff, incentivize them to show up to work. Doing nothing to fix the problem is unacceptable and I’m certain I’m not the only one complaining to them. If you choose not to fix it, Walmart has been seamless and will take over for you.

Produce are always fresh and new. Check the flyers for some good deals if you must before shopping and you will get a lot of bang for your buck. Some of the products here (other than food) are overpriced and a rip-off. I bought a towel hanger here for $19. Went to Dollorama found same exact item for $4. Also, I bought a bath rug here for $20. Went to Costco and found the same item for $12. Therefore, I will only do my grocery here other than that I will be buying elsewhere.

We come here most weekends for our grocery shopping because the prices are good when they can be verified. However, we find we really need to double check prices of things to make sure they are as they appear. I added a couple examples from within the first few minutes of being in the store this morning. We find this is the trend all the time and often I need to convince the employees that their misleading pricing needs to be addressed. They're losing money as a result.

Typically I stay away from the bigger stores but had to go in to get something. The deals were great and the selection was awesome. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. There was security there and they were doing their job well as there was some shady character wandering around trying to hide from them. Regardless, I am convinced that it is a good store to go to.

11/05 @ 8:40pm. Went in with some rotten oranges that I was sure I purchased from this location. I was incorrect, HOWEVER!!!! Katherine in customer service went above and beyond! Instead of getting me to go deal with there competitor she instructed me that she would be happy to exchange these rotten oranges (From Saveonfoods or Costco). She went above and beyond and needed to be recognized. *Hope day and time allows her to be recognized by management*

Superstore is a great grocery store. The pharmacy is the worst one I’ve ever been in. It takes them forever to fill one small prescription. For months now the pharmacist has been blaming a new computer system. Today I took my last refill in and will never return. At drop off I was told it would be 15-20 minutes, no one was there waiting. I said okay and left the store to shop at Walmart. After over a half hour I returned to pick up. Gave my name to the pharmacist, he said just a moment, went to the counter and picked up the prescription request, THEN proceeded to fill the prescription right in front of me!! I asked him why it wasn’t ready 20 minutes after it was dropped off. His response “ we have a new computer system.” I replied “you said that over a month ago.” His response “I have to double check everything because of this new system.” I replied “you said that over a month ago, you didn’t start filling my prescription until I came back after giving you more than a half hour to fill it” His response, nothing other than to tell me how much I owed. BTW, don’t be fooled by the “drive through service”. It’s drive through to drop off your prescription. So it’s like going to McDonalds, placing your order, leaving to drive through a half hour later to pick up your food. Superstore management really needs to investigate the terrible customer service by the pharmacist. The rest of the staff are great!

Found everything that I needed as usual, prices I find are a little more than your Wallmart and Food Basic's, but just as everywhere else you must know your prices. Or even better " Price Match" all that you can!! I found the store bright, clean, well staffed and *not out of all there sale items* by the middle of the week.???????? Being Handy-caped, I also like having the use of thier power buggies to help with my shopping. Overall another great shopping trip at the Supper Store.

Bathrooms are often not clean, smelly, and with functioning equipment (sink, or urinal, or toilet, or hand dryer). Cashiers will talk amongst them selfs instead of customers, about what they'll do after work, or about the previous day, etc. either overtop of or behind them. I know they want to move costumers along as fast as they can, but when I bag up my groceries it'd be nice not to have my fruit and bread crushed against the end of the belt and other groceries.

Pretty average grocery store. Staff aren't helpful at all. Had several problems with the staff not understanding/speaking very much English and it's been hard to get proper help. The store it self is adequately clean. Lot of stuff in the wrong place and sometimes can be messy in some areas. Just a nothing thing the staff should be focused on. The one good thing is that the store has great prices. So it equals out a bit. Its not a great store, but it's not awful either.

Huge store with lots of stuff, loads of parking and many cashier's (usually) to keep things flowing. If you don't deal well with crowds, go to Independent in Clearview.

Love this Superstore! For my groceries I shop there 90%. Other 10% at Costco as it's difficult to shop there because it's too busy and I don't always need a huge pack of everything. Superstores only competition is Costco in my opinion. Although I chose to go to Superstore more often for my daily groceries and stuff. I love self check outs at Superstore. They also have a lot of cashiers open when busy. Great selection of grocery products, awesome home decoration, seasonal, bedding and toys. Way to go to the manager of this particular location. He or she are doing an amazing job managing such a big shop. The store is getting better and better ever day. I had concerns of them not having organic milk at certain times (not recently, couple or more years ago) They fixed it! Now they always have it in stock. And in general their shelves are always full, never out of stock! Way to go!

They have the best selection and high standards, if you can afford the higher prices {especially produce} this is the grocery store for you. However if you don't have the cash, they can have great deals actually. One example would be they had macintosh apples on sale for .48 cents a pound while Food basics was selling them for .89 cents a pound. Shop the deals and loss leaders if you can't afford to shop the whole store and you'll come out ahead!

Security guards have proved themselves useless. Cashiers have given back incorrect change several times. On one occasion I had caught $15 over charged and then didn't even receive an apology. Bakery department proves to be a mystery as I have never once enjoyed the odor of freshly baked goodies,urchased a Frozen cheesecake t was freezer burned. Bathrooms ignored/ unstocked , shopping baskets filthy,, entrance carpets soaking wet in winter, etc........Tip: take advantage of any freebies they offe.Placed right next to the cash register is a daily special item. If she does not offer it to you, you're entitled it for free. & spend over $200 you're entitled to a free product that you must pick up by the cust servi counter before you leave store i (f you remember) I've received patio furniture hair products meat products.

My favourite part about shopping here is their self-checkout where I can skip all the lines and just do it all myself quickly! Wow, what an amazing store. Huge, bright, clean, and friendly staff. I got a jacket for Christmas from Joe Fresh but my Mother in Law lost the receipt. They very nicely exchanged it for the right fit with no hassles. Huge produce section, pharmacy on location, and massive parking lot. ONLY downside is you bag your own stuff but the money you save is well worth the extra few minutes.

Made a online order was supposed to be 275$. But after they removed 6 items from my cart because they were out of stock my total somehow changed to 305$. Can’t even view my online receipt because the links don’t work and was not provided a physical receipt. All in all a terrible experience and still can’t get a reply from any of the online customer service agents and it has “nothing to do” with any of the in store ones.

Just your average super store. Some of the food items are priced higher then other superstores I have been to. This is most likely due to the fact that the store is located on the North end of Vancouver Island. Other then that the store has a nice selection of items, when I was there, there was a lot of registers open. The staff was not overly friendly, but it's a grocery store so what do you expect.

Too many times I've experienced long lines at the cashier's check out, because there are only two or three cashiers working. Need more cashiers to speed up our check outs. We don't have time to wait half an hour in the line ups. We have work to do and other places to go,too. I also noticed that the customer service person/s do not try to help thin these busy line ups by going on the microphone to announce that they could take their items through, as long as nothing needs to be weighed. I watch these workers as they just lean on the counter with their arms crossed and do nothing to help out. These workers are just plain lazy.

Almost every single item I bought was either moldy or just a plain disgrace. The cream I bought for my coffee was not expired but came out chunky ! The milk I bought was the same. I find the store hard to navigate especially on the weekends and the lack of check out line make me not want to return. They do sometimes have good sales but I shop there maybe once a month. It's your typical big food store. Long, wide aisles overflowing with foodstuffs. People can treat the place like a dumpster, so the staff sometimes struggles with keeping the shelves & aisles organized. The produce section has a few Asian choices, and a lot of your basic hothouse veggies. The meat section is large & utilitarian - I prefer smaller grocers for meat. Prices are lower than average, but you pack your bags yourself & pay for bags. The kids who stock the shelves seem friendly & helpful, but often over-worked.

Very good prices, decent loyalty program, good private label and produce is usually pretty good, however, customer experience lacks. I find the tellers are always rushing people through the till and awkwardly making the person rush to pack their groceries, while the next person is already being run through. I'm not sure if that's asked by management but it's odd and ultimately not going to increase revenue and in fact may put people off.

Always some sad story in the parking lot trying to bum money, but that seems to be everywhere in PA. ***Here's a tip*** If you're trying to save money on groceries, use the "clip n collect" service. This way you aren't tempted into buying stuff walking around...your order is picked and loaded into your car for you so you don't ever have to go into the store...nay nay buying stuff you didn't have on your list ????.

Good prices overall, the store is almost busy so I use the grocery pickup app when I can. The staff are courteous and helpful. The pc brand has really upped their game in the last several years. More often than not I've found the pc brand to be on par or better than the name brand products. The pc express grocery pickup app works well I've only had a handful of issues with order mix up and once they patch the app they don't usually occur again. The reason for my low rating is for the management ending the so called "hero pay" for the Frontline grocery workers. We are far from out of this covid19 mess. The average worker deserves better compensation for putting themselves at risk.

In an attempt to not offend people with medical conditions who can’t wear masks and in a misguided effort to curb potential violence from customers refusing to wear masks, the Medicine Hat Superstore is refusing to enforce Superstore Corporate’s policy requiring masks. Their staff need only sign a waiver for them to not be required to wear a mask, not have any medical conditions preventing them from being able to do so. When we spoke to the manager regarding this, he did not care that my health was put at risk (I am immunocompromised) by the store lying that everyone there would be wearing a mask. Approximately a third of employees and customers (including every child we saw and their families) were not wearing a mask. I had to immediately leave the store as a result of the health risk in Superstore. The reason the manager gave why they are not enforcing it, above and beyond the excuses above, is that Medicine Hat does not yet have a by-law requiring them. That shouldn’t matter when your corporate office has that policy! Plus, one of the ways that we can prevent Medicine Hat from needing that bylaw is to abide by public health precautions and prevent a large outbreak here. The manager also refused to give us a way to contact the corporate office unless we made a purchase as the phone number would be on the receipt. They are selling a false sense of security while not even bothering to sanitize their carts. As large as they are, they can do proper public health precautions and enforce them, many smaller business in Medicine Hat do!

I have to say anything I would prefer if they keep their bathrooms clean in this day and age I would prefer that they have someone monitoring bathrooms at all times with drugs on the streets and all kinds of bad things going on I feel the diseases and safety of the public is essential for your business. Hire someone to supervise bathrooms always and don't love people just to use them as bathtubs. I was needing flowers. They were all almost dead nothing alive. Expensive for almost dead flowers.

Cheapest grocery store in town, especially if you buy bulk stuff. Unfortunately every single week I shop here I have an issue with with my click and collect as in they are out of something, or I'm given expired products. Sometimes I even buy meat and it says it expires in a few days and open the pack to discover it'd spoiled. This week I bought a pack of Persimmon and the amount of pesticides on it was just awful I couldn't continue eating it, and I was given applesauce that expired 3 months ago! I want so badly to love this store but it's getting very disappointing. I love the PC plus program but I'm not saving money if I have to discard thing or spend more gas money to go a second time and return stuff. As expensive as they are I think I'm ready to exclusively switch to Save on Foods; I'm never disappointed with their store.

But I'm thankful for the variety, some healthier choice items(in supplements/deo/AND foods as well and often a zippy Express Lane(I try to avoid self-check to support cashiers...not add to their stress). I rarely seem to find an employee around to ask questions of, and it definitely has the catch of stereotypical(and sometimes not!) busy times but cashiers and Customer Service are regularly friendly and engaging(usually get some good laughs with the customers I'm in line with too!) and an open, light shopping space. Just b aware, and don't do a big shop when you're rushed if you can!!

This review is specifically about the Red Deer Superstore click and collect. I've used it about a dozen times and decided to no longer shop at Superstore because of it. Each order was wrong. Substitutions were nonsensical - a bag of the same brand cat food when I ordered dog food. I ordered two of an item and got only one - for seven of the items in my last order. After unchecking substitutions for each order item things were still wrong. A container of cream cheese came in the wrong flavour and packaging damaged - had to be thrown out unused. The last time I used their service I got literally half what I ordered. I expect better when I order and pay a day ahead with Superstore. I'll be giving Sobeys North my business. The prices are not hugely different and they are never out of items I use.

The shopping baskets are not high quality however and I’ve broken 2 in my visits, which makes for embarrassing and awkward grocery trips. The shelves are sometimes empty of items. My favorite grocery store with one unfortunate exception. I went to the Express checkout (15 items or less) to discover a customer ahead of me with a full shopping cart, of at least 50 items. After several delays for price-checks and such, he was on his grinning way after about 10 minutes, by which time the line had grown to 6-8 customers. I asked the cashier why she allowed this to happen, since the purpose of the Express line was to save time. She said she wasn't allowed to direct customers to the regular checkouts. I regret not making a complaint at Customer Service at the time.

Langley Click and Collect Customer Service is the worst. I now drive further to South Surrey because they are so happy and helpful and are never out of items. I've given Langley about 5 tries. Staff are rude when you call, they make a point to rudely say that they can't promise you will be able to add items even when you call 4+ hours in advance to add items that aren't searchable online - even though the website says to do this. I've had to go into store several times to show them where the items are that they say they don't have (clearly not training new staff where PC items are stocked), and this is how they pack my groceries. Yes, the eggs fell out and broke and the bananas were bruised.

I often call to inquire if they have a singular item, and the stock boys are very, very friendly & happy to help. The prices being a good 15% lower than every other store sure doesn't hurt their reputation, either. My grocery store of choice was Safeway for the longest time. Superstore's call-in and pick up your groceries another day feature, I have used once but had a delivery company bring everything to me as I don't drive, and there was a hitch that went wrong- I (and the delivery driver) was EACH CHARGED for my grocery items! I paid by CC when I placed the order, and then when she arrived at Superstore, the delivery driver was instructed to pay for the grocery items, so she did and was, for good reason, a little put out when she arrived at my home and told me that she was required to pay before leaving the store. I wasn't handing over cash since I had proof I'd already paid for it. It took quite the effort to right the wrong, and the poor girl was out a good half hour of her work day where she could (and should) have been making money doing other deliveries. I'm leery of trying this order online and pick up another day service again because of how wrong the 1st and only time went.

Great produce section and pre made salads are a great deal. A good place to get a quick lunch that's not fast food. The rotisserie chicken is really good here too.

Do you know the difference taste wise between Kellogg's corn flakes and presidents choice? This is a common question we all ask before making a purchase decision. There's always a fine line between marketing your own store labels with other reputable brands, not to mention generic no name label products. Each to their own, but what Superstore has done is made the store large enough to provide you the variety to suit your preferences. Always watch the layout on the shelves. Not hard to tell its laid out sneaky like. Often the store label item is a little less (watch the pack size) priced and you are left to decide between two different products made by two suppliers. One you will like and the other will probably taste like cardboard. Next time you buy you will not make the same mistake again. I will add that its worth mentioning that Superstore has improved their produce quality over the last few years. But like anything it requires smart preventative maintenance to keep the wilted produce pulled and keep the fresh always looking fresh. A blind person should be able to buy produce and always pick up A grade quality. Management has to decide what level of shrink they can tolerate in order to maintain high quality standards.

As someone who shops at Superstore all the time, I don’t appreciate being followed by Security the entire 40-45 minutes I was in the store picking up groceries. Your hired “Security Guards” are profiling people based on how they look, and that is extremely unprofessional. I came in at 7:15-7:20pm and didn’t leave until 8pm. For that entire duration, one of the Security Guards hired there followed me through EVERY aisle I went to. It was very obvious and super uncomfortable as someone with anxiety. I don’t need to be stared at and babysat for the entire duration of my 45 minute grocery run. I was tempted to just give my basket of groceries to a cashier and go somewhere else. I have no idea why I was targeted by Security, whether it was from upper management or his own doing, but it makes the experience VERY uncomfortable and VERY unprofessional. I shop here all the time and never had anything happen like that with ANY of the other hired Security. Completely obsessive. Maybe it was because of my Mask I was wearing (and many other people due to covid-19), or maybe it was my long hair. I don’t deserved to be profiled as someone suspicious considering I shop there all the time and pay for everything I pick up.

Go in for a cake. No one in the bakery. Paged someone twice . No one came by for 20 minutes. Then a older gentleman comes by, rubbing his hands threw his hair and goes to get the cake without washing his hands. It was so gross. Superstore has been my go to store for more than 10 years, despite what I consider short comings I still choose to shop here. Over all it's pretty good. Negatives: I dont find some produce consistantly well stocked, which can also happen if I shop late in the evening, but not every time. Some or maybe just one "manager" of some sort ive had the unfortunate task of interacting with 2-3 times over the years has always been less than pleasant. Thankfully it's been few and far between Its sooo very hard to find staff members around the store gosh darn it. You have a question in any area and you need to go half a mile to find just one employee who probably isnt "in that department" your questioning so they either try to help best they can or have to find someone else. Positives: Its clean, I find clothing, food and household things here for great prices and If I feel like it, I can price match. I'll continued shopping here

I noticed they are trying their best to keep everyone safe during covid 19, even though it's not perfect time to time. I usually shop here during the weekdays as weekends are the most busiest time, meaning it's hard to socially distance, and I can sense the staffs are stressed. Reasonably priced, well stocked and organized. They are always expanding their ethnic section and we appreciate that. Lots of boxed ethnic spices and whole spices in the international aisle. There's also a good variety of brands (PC jarred sauces as well as imported spices like Shan). There's a decent section for halal meat - not as big as the regular section but you'll find your staples like whole chicken, minced beef and chicken, lamb chops, shoulder, stew meat, sausages. Home section and Joe Fresh is pretty good and there's always clearances. Good to have pharmacy in there to pick up prescription along with groceries. Staff is helpful overall????

Wish i could give a .5 star review. ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC job the click and collect. My spouse ordered a $48 order and it was scheduled for pick up between 8 pm and 9 pm December 14. I got there at 8:55 pm on December 14. I had to call 5 times before i got thru as there number keeps giving a busy signal. The girl on the phone answers and took ages to find my wife's order. I spelled the name out several times. She then asked if we had multiple orders which we didn't. After sitting there 20 minutes, I'm told they are behind and I can come pick it up December 16 between 8 and 9 am. Very inconvenient, but they're busy and I got a wife and a newborn and two kids at home. At 3 am on Dec 16, my wife gets the text that our order is ready for pick up between 8 and 9 am. I have to work at 10 am so I get up and get to Superstore for 8:50 am to pick up my groceries. should be quick. Forgive me for sounding like whatever the male version of a Karen is, but seriously... I pull in, there's no click and collect spots available so i park in a normal spot. I go inside, wait in line for customer services. I give the lady all my info, she can't find anything in the computer and sends me "just down the hall past makeup" to find the click and collect gong show. I knock on the door and explain i'm here for my order. The girl is rooting through papers and can't seem to find the order. Finally after a few minutes she finds it and says just go park out side and we will bring it right out. I explain i can't find a spot and she tells me to just wait for one to come available and then call. This is now 9:10 am. I go outside, wait for a click and collect parking spot. I phone. I have to phone twice to get through. Again whoever answers the phone has to search through to find my order. After 10 or so minutes, I'm told they just have to load it onto the cart and bring it out. Apparently it wasn't ready to go. Long story shorter, I waited until 9:58 for a kid to bring their big cart out with only my order on it. My wife also called a couple times while I was waiting only to be told it was just headed out the the door. I had a small order of groceries. They also picked the greenest bananas in the world that were apparently literally just cut off the tree and won't be use able for at least a few days. They were generous enough to waive my $3 pick up fee. Complete waste of almost two hours and in the time I wasted i could have just gone in and done the shop 3 or 4 times. Why text saying the order is ready at 3 am only to have customers come and wait an hour after their order was supposed to be done the night before. I don't care if it's a better deal, I won't be shopping at this place again. In the beginning of Covid i was impressed with how things were running, this experience shows how poorly the click and collect is running. If you're too busy, then don't offer the service to that many customers. Simple. End rant (apologies to my wife and any relatives reading this, I'm really a nice guy )

I must admit that I have never been so disappointed in the customer service of a store. We had bought a product that had missing pieces. The box was commercially sealed and not damaged, but pretinent pieces were missing!! The customer service was awful in order to get the pieces. We live out of town so we have to drive into town repeatedly to get pieces because this product was incomplete. In addition to missing pieces, we had call before hand to ensure they had them and we were hung up on SIX DIFFERENT TIMES!!! The people on the phone did not understand what we were looking for which is frustrating. To top it off, we still haven't gotten the parts and the product is unusable without these parts. Maybe grocery stores should stick to groceries instead of other products. I will not buy similar products for Superstore ever again.

Household items from dishes to pots and pans, glasses and cleaning products. Excellent plant/ flower section running throughout spring and summer. This store has been showing signs and symptoms of the looming supply chain collapse. (Yes, for those of you who trust mainstream news outlets, you heard about it here from some average guy on the street.) While we cannot blame Loblaws, (SuperStore's parent company,) the fact remains that serious supply changes have been happening for over a year now, and we are all far more fortunate than we realize in that we still do have a relatively intact supply chain. But it's not going to stay that way for long. (I suspect three months.. maybe even less.) before we're all back to stalking up on things... but this time it's going to be a lot more serious than just filing or shipping carts with toilet paper. NOPE... Those who have studied history recognize the clues. You heard it here first. In the meantime... GREAT JOB SUPERSTORE!! Store workers are always available and helpful when you need them, but not pushy. Muzzles are expected to be worn in the door as per bylaw, but they won’t go out of their way to harass and bully those who cannot wear one. Much appreciated.

I shop allot at Superstore and find the selection and staff very helpful. However Yesterday October 27th at 2:35pm I ran into a staff member prepping food without a mask on and had to do a double take. I hope management stresses the need for this to be addressed
