I love the weekly specials. If you have a big freezer, then be sure to stock up on their large sized frozen foods. You can find items that no one else carries. Their fresh chicken breasts are so very tender and flavourful, and are quite often on sale.The staff is helpful and friendly.

Stopped in today to get a slab of striploin steaks, that I am going to dry-age at home. This is a great little store, lots of frozen items, as well fresh meats. I bought tenderloin, brisket and even ground beef here in the past. Meat is always of good quality, and there is a decent selection condiments and pickled/canned goods. I definitely check it out.

One of the best little local meat and cheese shops to watch for deals. They tend to put good deals on Steaks from time to time if you have the flyer delivered to your home. I shop here frequently in bulk supplies. They cut your steaks to the size you ask right in store, You can choose your slabs of meets from a very good selection. Pepperettes are in good supply (meat sticks) and of course they have a great frozen food selection as well of sausages, chicken, burgers, you name it, they have it. Great Store! A real addition to the community!

One of the only places I buy steaks. AAA+ Angus beef at a reasonable price. They cut to desired thickness. They sometimes have amazing "one shot" deals. Today they had AAA NY Strip for $5.99 per lb. Do you have a smoker? If yes, come here!!! I’ve picked up great pork shoulder for pulled pork and wings for..well..wings obviously. Overall I love the selection of meats and fish. I haven’t purchased any breakfast (frozen) foods or side dishes but they are large portion options. When you watch the flyer you can get some really amazing deals on top of the already reasonable prices. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Only two cashier stations so it can get hectic when busy but the team moves efficiently.

I have never seen such an atrocious display of customer service. After the owner and all the staff chasing my spouse in to the parking lot because he said he didn’t like how hey were treating another cudtomer, I almost had a face to face altercation with the clerk after asking her to stop screaming like a looney in front of my cowering and crying child. She apparently didn’t like me asking her to stop and go back to the store because then she proceeded to tell me she would drop kick me. Got the roast home we did purchase to find the bacon to be grey and the roast was out of date. I have also posted on their Facebook page but they like to delete comments. Was relieved to see when looking through google reviews, that I am not the only person to encounter this. Shop local they say..... support small business they say.....hard to support that. Walmart would have apologized.

I went to this store to buy Short Ribs to grill. I am from Argentina and was hoping to have some good beef. Most of the reviews were positive so I thought I would drive 25 mins to get what I needed. The store doesn’t sell by weight, you need to buy the whole bag with many pounds. If you need 3-4 pounds, “I’m sorry”. I said to the guy “ I can’t see what’s inside the bag, its sealed and I can’t judge what I’m buying”. The guy made me buy the whole bag and then cut it into 3 stripes for me. As I imagined, 90% fat and bone. Spent over 60 dollars of just fat. All a waste. My suggestion: if you need short ribs go somewhere else. It’s a scam buying a sealed bag you can’t even see what’s in and then it’s all fat. Note: I didn’t buy anything else so I can’t judge their other products, but in terms of meat I was disappointed.

I go to Roberts all the time. Their 5/11lb box of bacon is the best bacon you will ever taste. I cannot go back to Maple leaf bacon again. As a small business owner, I truly appreciate the professional, consistent and kind service I have received from Robert's Boxed Meats. All of their staff (cashier, packers, manager, and owner) show their gratitude for your business. I went in today to purchase a couple cases of chicken and bone (pet) tubes and noticed the prices had gone up quite a bit. The front staff kindly explained the reasoning, and when I asked if there was any way to get a bulk discount as I do buy from there quite often, they did not make me feel bad for asking, but instead the owner came from the back to greet me, offer me a discount and to continue to work with me in the future, as well as thank me for my business. Even as I waited to the side for an answer, I watched the staff engage friendly with all their customers, follow up and apologize for the delay. Prices go up, as does cost of living. I can appreciate that on its own, but the communication and customer service made me happy customer. I visited this store last week for the first time upon the recommendation of a (happy) regular shopper. I was impressed with how clean and well-stocked the store was, and even more impressed with how friendly, helpful and polite the staff was. While I was trying to figure out what is where, one staff came up to me asked if I had any question. It feels so nice to not have to run around looking for or chasing for help like some other big stores. When I had another question, another staff really took her time to give me such good directions and explanations, including different cooking options. They all seemed genuinely appreciative of my business and I was a little stunned by that. Very importantly, the meats I bought were really, really good. Nicely cut and well prepared. It's probably the best little meat shop most people have not heard of. It was actually a pleasant experience shopping here. Count me as a new regular.

Robert's boxed meats has great deals including well-priced frozen items and items close to the expiry date that you just need to use or freeze quickly. The store has good COVID precautions (employees and customers masking, clearly indicated directions on aisles, requiring carts to help with physical distancing, not allowing people to place personal items on counters and sanitizing between customers). The store doesn't have particularly long hours but there are typically very few customers when I go 20 minutes before closing.

I can usually find the same fries and liverwurst, and weekly sandwich meats there. It's a treat to come home with economically priced polish sausage, bacon, and small hams for casserole and soup ingredients. I buy bundles then. So close by too.

Been here many times and have been generally happy with the quality for price. I recently bought multiple packs of pork side ribs and am disgusted with the quality. They place a decent looking rack of ribs on top of the package for display but everything below that could not be described as fit to eat. Hoping my dog will eat some of the meat I cubed off of it so it isn't a complete waste. Despite being happy with previous purchases I doubt I will be back to roll the dice again.

Just bought a cheese and crackers platter from Roberts Boxed Meats and My girlfriend were eating the food when we noticed that there was mold on the cheese. Mind you, the expiration date is October 08. Why is there mould a good while before the best before date? I am allergic to penicillin as well and do not recommend buying this product or any product. They may be expired far before the date. Will not be shopping here anymore.

Small store with large selection of meats. Much cheaper meats than in supermarkets (eg. Sobeys, T&T, Food Basics). Far away from UW though. Can consider watching a Cineplex movie if heading there since it is nearby.

Purchased side ribs when they were on sale. Got them home and opened them up and they were rotten. Literally stunk up our kitchen. They were clearly repackaged. You may think your getting quality meat here but take a real good look before purchasing.

Everything was delicious! The steaks blew me outta the water! I’ll be coming back for now on! Customer service was super friendly! The only thing I found Annoying as somebody with extreme anxiety was being in the store having close to five people not even feet away from me and literally people were close enough to each other we could be bumping elbows As I actually elbowed an employee he did not bother to say excuse me when stopping behind me therefore I was not aware of the fact that he was even there. Manners do help and they also make it so people know what you’re doing. I don’t expect employees of his age to not understand this concept. Even if it wasn’t Covid i would still be annoyed by this. When I’m picking out my meats I have people standing there watching me waiting for me to move getting in my personal space. I get that times are tough right now but as somebody who gets extremely anxious I found this to be a very mentally frustrating store to be in .
