The only place I’ll buy my meats from now! Always helpful, and you can even get thicker cut of steak if you need (perfect for those reverse seared ribeyes). My brother and I are in twice a week each, and certainly not slowing down.

I have alot skin problems brought on by hormones and steroids given to cattle, pesticides on produce and other additives found in a majority of foods. Most meat gives me a terrible reaction. I recently went on an elimination diet wear I fasted for three days then added 1 food at a time to see what I might be allergic to. The first food I introduced to my system was rib eye from Farm Town Meats Ltd. Not only was it delicious but more importantly I had absolutely no reaction and I have noticed a considerable improvement in my overall health and well being. This butcher is the only one I trust for the purity of there meats, competitive prices and friendly service. If you have food sensitivities like me I highly recommend shopping at Farm Town Meats Ltd. This is the greatest place for a meatatarian like me, it's close by and prices are awsome.if you like Maui ribs....they make there own and sell the marinade. Absolutely awsome. Also lots of delicious seafood and specialty cuts of steak and of course jerky. Basically anything you would need for eating great. Also they have freezer packs(large quantity of meats pre sorted for meals) ideal for saving money while eating amazing food. Much love from: the raw steak eating weirdo

Great place. Decent prices and choices of meats & cold cuts, sausages , even some seafood! Eggs& cheeses also. Nice courteous staff to serve you . Parking in the rear is free! YAY! Gotta love that. You can also pre order and they have freezer packs as well. Clean place!

Fine selection of quality meat and foods, there is a wide variety or pre-seasoned meats, cooked items such as sausage rolls for less than $2, and also specific raw cuts; great place for seasoning spices too. Parking is limited and access is from the rear, slightly steep so watch your step.

We've tried the maple bacon *our favourite and only 120 calories per meaty sausage, bratwurst and the duck & blueberry sausages. All 3 were good, but the one we love is the maple bacon pork sausage! We will be trying the italien next!

Great and Much Needed Butcher Shop Nowadays there aren't that many stand alone butcher shops and delis around any more. For people in New West Farm Town Meats is a great resource. Custom cuts of meat are never a problem, service is always good, and it's nice to be able to support an independent business. Thanks to Farm Town.

Over the past months, I have become completely hooked on shopping here. Grain fed/ orgainic products are the high quality norm here. Great staff - even willing to offer cooking advice if requested. Pre-seasoned specialties are excellent as well as great prices including on eggs and deli items.

I’ve changed since I found this place a couple of months ago. We used to buy most of our meat bulk at Costco, then freeze it and use as we needed it, but since finding Farmtown I’ve never bought meat at another other store. I used to think that the meat we bought at Price Smart was super fresh because it glistened, then I saw that it was actually being sprayed water through sprinklers in the display cases. Everything here is clearly laid out, very fresh, not sprayed with water (or whatever it was), the beef is grass fed and finished, and most important to me is that there is no gross grey gunk that comes out of meat when I’m cooking. I try to go a few times a week and then head over to get produce at David’s Market just across the street. The Pie Hole is also next door if you want a pricy, but delicious pie. Super convenient!

We went in Saturday looking for some nice beef tenderloin steaks. There were no tenderloin steaks in the the display cases but asked if they had any in the back. The butcher gladly went to the back pulled out a tenderloin, cut off a steak, presented and asked if I was happy with the cut. The cut was perfect so he went back and cut our order. We brought the steaks home, grilled them up and they were excellent. The keg and local grocery stores have nothing on the quality of the meat this company puts out and the prices are very reasonable. The Meat variety they have to offer is also impressive. Not to mention the service. I will be back to do my weekly meat shop and will skip buying meat at the grocery stores.

So happy to find this place. The staff are very helpful and friendly. There is a good variety of high quality meat, poultry, and seafood. If you're looking for a real butcher, with staff who want to help you get exactly what you're looking for this is the place to go. I would absolutely recommend trying their smoked sausages (which pairs really well with the mustard they sell too). A great place too if you need good quality bones for making broth!

Went in and asked for a nice steak, they sold me a grayish looking t-bone but assured me it was ok. It smelled and tasted bad but I was foolish enough to eat it anyway and felt ill afterwards. Avoid this place unless you want to be ripped off and get sick.

It's a good store with decent choice and prices. BUT food safety is a concern, as not all employees use gloves and hair nets while handling food. You may find a hair in your ground beef.
