I love stopping here on the way into work to pick up lunch or deli items to pack lunches. They have a complete delivery counter with meats and cheeses as well as a fresh meat counter (steaks, chops etc). There is also a section with vac packed meats and cheeses. The best part of coming here is their lunch counter. Take out only! They have daily snadwich specials, soups, stews, pizza. Every morning they cook up a breakfast special...egg sandwiches, bacon, baked french toast, breakfast pizza!! Prices are very reasonable and portions are very large. Sandwiches are huge!!! They also carry breads, crackers and snacks. If you go around lunch, I usually wait until around 1pm...it can get quite busy with contractors buying lunch for their crews. Springers is a hidden Hamilton gem on Morley Street!!!

This is a top deli. They aren't for the "rich" but if you want good quality meats, this is the place to go. They are a little more on the pricey side but compared to what you're getting. It's actually worth it. They do have more to their store than just the meats, so dont think it's just that. Plus the staff is always friendly. They make awesome sandwiches too.

I was just wandering around one lunch time when I found this place, it was a Thursday. I popped in to see what it was like, I'm glad that I did, I bought a couple of roasts at very fair price and excellent quality too. Whilst I ordered my meat I noticed a steady stream of workers from the local area heading to the back of the store, being curious I asked and was told it was schnitzel day. Yup, apparently every Thursday is schnitzel day, and what a nice sandwich it is, after eating mine down at the lake, I went back and bought three more for family members ;) Since then I have had other things from there and all of good quality and very fairly priced. Finally, their coffee, what a surprise, a proper cup of java, fresh and with excellent flavour. I like this place, and if you find yourself in the east end of Hamilton, drop in for a great sandwich and from my experience so far, excellent quality meats. I hope it never changes.

Update: 09/23/21 Found plastic inside my ham when I cut it open. Sent the company and email with pictures heard nothing back. Not impressed at all! It's only getting one star because it's making me. Update: This issue has been totally resolved, the people that I was envolved with were very courteous and professional. The issue received the proper attention. Keep it up.

Ordered a burger, only to find the bacon was not cooked, very stringy and pale as photo shows, chicken wings were the worst, cold and hard, teryaki sauce did no justice. Got stomach pains half hour, by only eating half burger, and realized bacon was not cooked. Threw the food in the garbage, with the wings.

If you want real deli with generous amounts of meat on the bun go to Springer's Deli in Hamilton. It's a factory store so you can't get better meat. Prices are reasonable. Local favourite for those who know. Too bad they don't have seating...so just pickup, run and enjoy!

Went here on a recommendation, best lunch in months! Ordered the hot beef sandwich and took a pulled pork to go as well. The hot beef was piled high on a kaiser with a slice of cheese and hot mustard, spectacular. Also received a sample pepperette at the cash to try, bought a couple large ones as it was delicious. Go eat here and you will not be disappointed.

Elderly lady in front of me was denied entry from shopping because she was wearing a face shield and not a mask for medical reasons was denied entry. Security officer was not professional or compassionate. I told him that their are exemptions, and that if every company refused services against people that are medically exempt then these people would all starve and would not be able to survive. I've been going to springers for over 5 years now. And they have now lost my business and promoting. Absolute disgrace.
