Came in this past saturday. Initially called and requested for 'picanha', the gentleman on the phone new exactly what I meant and when I got there, the staff were very friendly, the store was clean and the butcher knew exactly how to cook it. He gave me a good explanation of how to cook this delicious meat. It was delicious!! Thank you Murray's! I'll be back!

The pork is bangin’. It has great flavour and texture. Keep the drippings from your bacon and use it in other dishes. It makes everything taste good. Candice is great and knows her stuff. My new butcher shop.

AMAZING! We receive excellent customer service every time we go in. Smells delicious inside! The mustard is very tasty! Chocolate milk is a MUST! And the meat is unlike anything you’ll try from a mass produced grocery store. The flavour that comes from the meat is awesome! Can’t wait to try our pork tenderloin we picked up yesterday. Even the eggs are good! Highly recommend to everyone!

What a great shop! Highly recommended. Fabulous customer experience. I went in for Haggis on Robbie Burns Day. I'd never had it or prepared it before but the staff there was very accommodating and offered many suggestions for cooking our dinner that night. While the Haggis wasn't a big hit with my kids, it was indeed a great experience at Murray's Farm Butcher Shoppe. I also picked up farm fresh eggs, ground beef and ground lamb too! I'll be back and recommend it to my friends and family for sure.

This is a late due review. Came here a couple of months ago. Hope you include more offals. They have grass fed beef&lamb and pastured pork. Decent quality meat, you can see it from the deep red colour and yellow fat on the steak; pork is almost as red as beef and the fat has a complex nutty flavour.

Popped in this weekend as hubby really was in the mood for steak. Something I don't normally buy from the grocery store as I'm always disappointed. Picked up 4 very generous rib eyes, as well as some of the sausages. I was absolutely floored by the steaks. Likely the best steaks I have enjoyed in a very long time. Will be a regular for sure. Not to mention the fantastic people there. Bottom line is....go get what you pay for. The steaks and sausages were worth every last penny!

These guys have become my new local butcher, since moving to the neighbourhood. Great quality, friendly and helpful service, and very reasonable prices. Not much more you could ask for! Their small grocery shop next store is also useful for grabbing staples to accompany your meal.

I went for the first time on Wednesday and placed an order, they said it would be ready Thursday. Late Thursday morning they called and my order was ready on time. I needed Soy sauce and asked if they had some for sale. They didn’t but the lady instead of having to go to a grocery store and wait in a long outside line up she gave me a large container of their use soy sauce. Great customer service. I will definitely be returning.

I have been purchasing all of my steaks and meats from Murray's for years! I am very very happy with all the foods they offer and all of my friends and family are always impressed with the steaks I buy from them! They are absolutely amazing and I have NEVER had an issue with anything i ever purchased. The constant amazing service and the way they always have my order ready for me is something I can't get anywhere else! I don't think I would ever purchase my meats from anywhere else! I highly recommend them!

I went to this butcher and they seem a bit disorganized. One guy was on the phone and no one could help me as I waited for a long time. Then I asked for Tenderloin Roast and they didn't have one. After going back and forth I was not offered a viable alternative and the clerk couldn't assure me that they could even have any in 2 days for my dinner party. I walked out empty handed having to figure out where to go next.

Have been a somewhat loyal customer at Murray's since they opened. 11am Sunday morning and I enter to music so loud one would have to shout over it to be heard. Fair enough, perhaps they were in "just opened" mode, and upon realizing they had a customer to serve it would be turned down to a reasonable level. The woman at the counter, who frankly seemed indifferent to my presence, turned it down slightly, to an inappropriate level, from a completely inappropriate level. Clearly more interested in the loud tunes than the customer. This is not a commentary on the product, which is generally very good, but is a commentary on what a complete turn-off this experience was, and left me feeling like I could care less if I shopped at Murray's again. Professionalism and decorum count.

Great beef and pork. Pork rib chops are excellent. I do trim a bit more fat off them before cooking. Striploin steaks are the best you will find anywhere. Good food, expensive, but worth every penny.

This has to be the best butcher shop on the East side of Hamilton. The pork is as good as it gets! Good selection of beef including Wagyu. I believe the chicken is Fenwood Farm and equally good. The staff are friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable given the quality of the product. Our family shops here regularly.

Awesome butcher. Great new find for me. Tried the bacon blue burgers. They were great. Lots of great selections. And many other goodies, pickles and more. Always looking for a butcher shop with premium quality meat , this place had great reviews , I purchased steaks twice and it was sub par at best ...steaks looked amazing but clearly was not quality meat ...i didn't know a 30 $ ribeye cooked properly could be tough and bland ...the texture was that of liver ...I will not be going back !

Bought what was supposed to be "fresh" corn picked yesterday. Shucked the corn and found the kernels to be puckered and dimpled. Completely dried out. Tried to "pop" a kernel with a fingernail, which should result in a spurt of juice -- the sign of fresh corn. Nothing, nada. Threw 4 ears of corn in the garbage. Not encouraging.

Loved every bite of the meat I got from Murray’s Farm Butcher. You can tell right away that it’s high quality. I also really enjoyed listening to good music from their outdoor speakers while waiting outside. Everybody wore masks and it’s nice to know this business is taking precautions to ensure the safety of their guests and employees.

I was very disappointed with this shop. I had heard great things so I made a drive in from out of town to check it out. I had been told that some of the best butchers in Ontario worked here but looking at the meat in the case I felt that couldn't possibly be true. They carry some very nice product but the work on the cuts was sloppy and looked like it was done by people who lack passion. The shop was playing the most dreadful country music so loudly that I had to repeat my order three times before the bloke behind the counter could hear me. The butchers working in the back were not wearing masks and everything appeared disheveled. Not worth the drive or the inflated prices.

Great meat, great atmosphere, best chocolate milk anywhere and a fantastic selection of homemade sauces and condiments. Very friendly service. My only composing is they only have their "CHCH" sausages 1 day a week. They are to die for the place is a little small but they are expanding.
