Stopped in at this place the other day to check it out and I bought some of their dry spicy Italian sausage. It doesn't have to be cooked and was ready to eat right out of the packaging. Definitely a well made product. If you aren't into spicy I wouldn't recommend you buy the spicy sausage (it has a good kick). This isn't your run of the mill finely ground sausage either. Has good flavour. Recommended.

Love our Neighborhood butcher. Sue and Frank are always welcoming and usually have a cheese treat for my little girls. A frequent stop in our local grocery shops. The smoked bacon, and ribs are part of regular order. Great prices on cheese.

Just moved nearby and walked in with no expectations only looking to buy grated cheese as mine had run out. What a surprise! Chatted with the owners, talked about meat cuts, cheeses, sauces, ways to cook everything. Warm and friendly service with excellent quality product (they have SO MUCH GOOD STUFF!). Walked out with a huge smile feeling like I just made new friends.

Amazing staff and great quality beef. Susie was so patient with me. She helped me to pick the cut I need for roast beef, cut the bone off and tied it back to the meat for easy roasting and cutting, seasoned it and even write down the instructions for me. Best experience ever and the prime rib turned out great! Thank you Susie!

One word:Susie. Always helpful, and heartwarming. It is not just a deli store, it is an important part of the community. The meats are awesome, would definetly reccomend the bacon. If yoy have any cooking question on the meat and poultry be sure to ask them, they are also cook gurus. Out of 5 stars, I give them the milky way.

I knew immediately as soon as I moved into the neighbourhood I wanted to shop at Calabria. The owners are so friendly, informative and helpful. I love that they have veal bacon for those who do not eat pork. The front of the store is charming with a bicycle in the window and a freezer for you to go through and pick out your pot pie for dinner. I have been several times now and pick up goat cheese, Scotch eggs, pot pies and even tried their bread pudding. Food tends to be on the less salty side which a lot of people will appreciate. The butcher told me he makes his pot pie crusts with butter, no shortening. Love it.

I'm new in the neighbourhood and was very excited to find this place! A genuine butcher shop, one of the few left in Vancouver. Frank and his staff make their own deli meat in small batches without using nitrites. I've also bought whole chicken and cut beef, the quality has been exceptional! Customer service is great, and so are the prices. Worth a visit!

First time here and oh boy was it a great experience! Went here for a piece of steak and was greeted to nice lady at the shop. Came out with two pieces, bacon and some others. Good quality meat, and just great people to do business with. Happy to support local business owners!

The owners are a couple of very friendly and knowledgeable butchers. I grew up on a ranch and as such grew up with homemade / handmade meats. Each purchase (sausage, pork chops etc.) are tastes from my childhood. Their bacon is THE BEST I have ever had. Scotch eggs that are as good as what I've had in Scotland, everything top notch with meats/eggs locally sourced. Highly recommend.

Wow. This was my first experience in any butcher shop ever. I wanted to roast up some bone marrow and needed to find a butcher to purchase it from. Found Calabrian Meat Market was not far from my house, decided to walk over there and check it out. I was blown away at the selection, and how delicious everything looked! The owners are so kind and knowledgable. Their hospitality is awesome! They made me feel very comfortable and really educated me on what I was buying, ways to cook it. Etc. If you are ever in the area, and even if you aren't in the area. Please do yourself a favour and visit Calabrian Meat Market on Victoria Drive. You wont regret it. 5/5 stars! I will definitely be coming here regularly!

This Butcher shop is run by an honest, and hard working couple named Frank and Sue. They make such amazing Pot Pies with REAL butter and not shortening. Their prices are more than fair, for the high quality products that you get. Some items you may wanna try: Their Maui Ribs, Chicken and Mushroom Pot Pie, Steak and Mushroom Pot Pie, Cuts of Meat (i usually get pork butt, ground sirloin, and thick cut garlic pepper bacon.), and their house made sausages! They even sell all kinds of specialty cheeses. Seriously my favorite place to buy meats. More affordable than most grocery shops. Would recommend this place to anybody who eats meats!

This is our favourite butcher - we left the area over a year ago and still go back. Amazing owners, great products, and they know their stuff. Bonus points: scotch eggs and biltong, a South African jerky. They also have a great cheese selection, make epic meat pies, and sell everything you need (think Mac n cheese, potatoes) to pull together an amazing meal.

Best butcher/meat shop in the region. The owners know there stuff, and are fantastic, friendly, and helpful. They do custom orders, and carry a cycling variety like aged prime rib. Beef bones are the best I've had, with great marrows. Bacon is superb, and great selection of cheeses, cold cuts/cured meats, and heat-to-serve meals. Eggs, grass fed milk and beef as well. Natural hog casing for sausage making free if you buy the quality pork from him. Been going here every week for a couple years now.

Mar.28.2019 - Went back for more ribs. Great place, friendly and knowledgable owners. Took the time to explain different cuts of meat and was nice enough to recommend different ways of cooking them when I asked. Local suppliers. As good as it gets in my books. The ready to eat ribs are amazing. Affordable and fantastic. I try and make it here as often as I can if I get out of work before they close. Nice people and there's always good music playing from the back. Today it was Johnny Cash.

A huge last minute google win for us, they were the ONLY Butcher’s open till 8 on a Saturday. So right there I mean come on sheeple, We made this tonight for 9$! From farm too store to plate, Marinated vacuum sealed and ready to eat after 23mins or less. It was delicious. I also got beef bones too make my own broth, with excellent tips from Sue on how too do that and great tips on new cuts. Like beef braised beef tail. After the broth cleanse I shall return here for the Bacon and the hand made dried meats. Ps: they have everything for charcuterie on the fly! Selection Cheese’s too. These guys are doing it right in the wrong side of town. So I thought I’d give them a shout out.

Can't comment on the quality of the meat but I just experienced very unprofessional customer service. No notice on the door about Covid-19 so I opened the tinted front door to see how many people were already inside and the guy behind the counter yells wait outside. I waited for about 5 minutes and some other person walks in the store. I actually assumed he was an employee but also felt that if he wasn't that the guy behind the counter would tell him there is a line up outside. After about 40 seconds a lady customer walks out and said to me that it's supposed to be your turn but that guy snuck in front of you. Rather than make a scene, I just walked away and will take my business elsewhere where they treat their customers with respect. Lost a potential very good customer.

Love this place. Great selection of high quality meats and I would say at a very reasonable price. It's a family run shop - which we are seeing fewer and fewer of these days. They know their products, the origins and maintain a high standard. Their chickens in particular are delicious.

We were looking for a butcher to get decent marrow bones for our dog and found this place, and we haven't bought meat or bones anywhere since! It is excellent quality with excellent service at very reasonable prices. We're sad we only found them now as we're moving away soon, but I would highly recommend them to anyone who enjoys their meat and is sick of the expensive garbage they try and sell us at the grocery stores.

A great neighborhood butcher shop run by a friendly couple. I have been here several times, mostly to get beef bones, for making beef broth. I am happy with the quality and services I get. They will cut the large bones to smaller pieces. The also have different kinds and cuts of meats. And, you can get sauces and spreads. I definitely recommend Calbria for their quality products.
