The meats and food selection are great but.....awful customer service. Signs on the door are in polish only so bring a translator (foreigner myself but still have the common curtsey to speak English in public places since I live in Canada and all). Not all but some of the girls are very rude. Asked somebody for help finding something and was told to just go back and look again. I'll stick with DJ Sausage where the environment Is very welcoming.

We drive to the Brantford store every 2wks for the best salami around. Great selection of authentic European sweets and treats. Fast and efficient service at the deli. Great prices for speciality food and baking/cooking supplies. Highly recommend checking out the Sausage Place.

Finally visited the place while in Brantford. Tried the garlic bbq sausage they had on special but it is of very low quality. Understood low price and low quality. Also tried the bacon but all I could taste was salt and lots of it. Unfortunately I am too old for those tricks. The service is all right, the hot buffet nothing special, can get much better deals and products in other Brantford stores.

We were told about this place while in Brantford last week visiting family. We later went there and as soon as we walked in the door, the right "vibe" was instantly apparent and carried through until we were done at the till. We came back to Calgary with a nice store of the smoked Gypsy Sausage, a kielbasa. We rate it as incredibly good, as measured against some very tough competition from numerous locales in Western Canada. If we lived in or near Brantford, this place would be on our weekly trapline for Euro' Meats & Sausages in general.
