Great location, beautiful property, really friendly and helpful staff! The u-pick strawberries were amazing! Really big and super sweet and oh there were plenty of them! I liked that they don't use any weed sprays/ pesticides on their berries! I rather deal with the weeds and know that there's no chemicals on my fresh berries! Super delicious! Highly recommended!

Took a drive and found this place randomly and decided to stop and take a look. There is so much selection it's hard to choose what you want. Lol. I ended up getting bacon cheese burgers, buns, wings and buttertarts. Everything was excellent. Cooked the burgers and wings on the smoker and was delicious. The buttertarts were expensive but worth it. Need to get a brisket is something like that to put on the smoker :) Items are expensive but you know what you are getting and good quality.

I had researched where to go on our day in the country to pick up some high quality meats and other things for dinner, and found this. What a great place! We could tell that in the summer there would be lots to do for people, and families. The store was open and is full of fabulous meats (theirs), cheeses, prepared meals, soups, pantry items and a fabulous array of baked goods. We shopped happily for dinner for the next few nights, and snacked on pepperettes, an apple fritter and butter tarts....our lunch!

Friendly and courteous service, tons of parking, cute family run market, they have outdoor BBQs on summer weekends, tons of inventory from their home grown cattle, pigs and chicken to local cheese and dairy. Awesome play area for the kids. The Thatchers are excellent hosts! Definitely worth a stop!

We brought the family to visit the sunflower patch. Pre-ordered some snacks and our tickets online. The staff were very friendly and engaging. We bought some kettle chips, lemonade and sunflower crunch (trail mix). The food quality was really good. All COVID-19 precautions were in place (sitting areas very well spaced out, the market area only allowed 2 people at a time and you had to wear mask by the market area.) We even got a tour of the farm from a kid that just happened to be walking around the farm. We got to pet the donkeys , see the turkeys cows and chickens. The playground area was closed at the time so we’ll have to come back for that.

No picnic, Only Shopping this year.. Lots of Parking, Clean environment, Not busy, Friendly staff, Only shop is open for public and sale is through the window, Fresh and excellent meats: Beef, Pork, Chicken, Turkey and varieties of Souce etc are available... The farm and kids play area are not opened for the public this year due to the pandemic.

They make it easy to buy local! Great variety of products made on site. I love the honey garlic sausages and I am addicted to the thick cut bacon. Best deal is to buy it by the 5 lb case.

Came for the weekend bbq, stayed for the store. BBQ burger was really fabulous, and the food in the store is excellent. Looks like they have a lot for kids to play on, and farm animals to see. Flies were a little much for the bbq, but okay if you sit where there's wind (it's a farm, what can you do?).

Thatcher has been our grocery-store since the pandemic began. The staff are super helpful. The meat, dairy, produce and dry goods are the best of the best and we're so thankful for all your hard work during this pandemic. Five stars is not enough. If there was a milky-way rating, I'd give that to you :)

Needed a turkey for Thanksgiving and my google search led me to Thatcher's Farm! Just so happens my sister lives down the road! Anyways, along with the turkey we purchased ground beef, chicken breast and pork chops. We had the pork chops last night for dinner and they were more than delicious! I can't wait to try everything else we purchased! I'm glad we came across this country market, it's just a 20 minute drive from Guelph and well worth the visit! We will be making regular trips to purchase our meat from the Thatcher's!

Lovely place but we won't be back. We decided to bring our 2.5 yr old (full price admission over 2) to their fun yard. It cost way too much $$ to have three of us enter for an hour. It's worth the drive to the competing farm near Milton.

This place is truly a goldmine! We ordered a prime rib roast for thanksgiving and it was incredible tasting. Anything you make with their ground beef or pork will be 1000% better than what you have tasted before. We purchase the beef tenderloin for bbqing and we don't put anything on it and it tastes amazing, the way beef should taste. Try their pork roast for pulled pork in the crock pot, you won't believe how delicious it will taste. I cannot say enough about this place. Simply the best!
