Wow, a 15$ sandwich and drink. Avocado was $2 alone yet I couldn’t tell there was any on there. A waste of money and the sandwich was disgusting.

Great meats! If you are going to grill, get your steaks from Matt's! We took home 7lbs of beef angus ribeye cut to our specifications and were not disappointed. Very close to prime quality without the prime price. They also have other meats, cheeses, and sausages. Nice little wine selection as well at very reasonable prices. AND they serve fresh sandwiches and pizzas in house!

Matt's is amazing. They have excellent quality and very good prices. Their deli sandwiches are the best I have had in Montana, and their meat selection is vast. They have coffee bacon. Coffee. Bacon. If you are anywhere near here, you need to go.

I purchased a bunch of random items to make summer sausage. Heidi and the other workers took extra time to get me set up with everything that I needed and helped to make sure that I understood the steps. Sausage turned out great. I will be repeating this purchase in the future.

I called and was told they would accept deer for processing the next day. I asked if I would need to call back and check and was told no. I emphasized that I lived out of town and would have to take work off to come to Livingston. I was told my deer would be accepted. When I arrived I was told they would not accept my deer. I said that I had called and specifically asked and taken work off. The employee replied “tough”. I have never been so disappointed by a Montana company. They will never have my trust again.

My 10-yr old daughter ordered a personal pan pizza with Canadian bacon & pineapple, and I ordered a roast beef sandwich on wheat with sprouts, all the way. Incredibly delicious all around. Great service and food. Can’t go wrong!

My wife and I were travelling from out of state and meeting friends for a weeklong cabin rental. We needed to stock up on meats for grilling and other meals. When we were searching online, what caught our eye was the extensive selection of sausage they make in-house. We were not disappointed, all the sausage we bought was fantastic! Additionally we grabbed some sandwiches for lunch which were fantastic as well. Everyone at the store was very helpful. Wish we lived closer!

Poor customer service for dropping off a bull elk and overpriced. They rushed me during the drop off and did not call me when my meat was ready. When I called to ask about a rush charge for a friend they went into straight hustle mode “ what are you going to do for me...it’s going to be $250-$300 extra...I bet it’s not thawed”...very rude and obnoxious on the phone. Paying over $600 for rude service would have been ok if I’d got more then 6 lbs of backstraps back, but I received 100 lbs of burger and mostly rump roast. The packaging was nice but I will never return. If you do go bring cash because they charge an extra 4% for credit/debit cards....it’s 2019!

Here's some feedback. better communication on front end. explain the situation instead having me stand in your lobby for 28 minutes before I have to ask when is my order coming out. listen to a customers concerns instead of instantly going on the defensive and making excuses. if I call ahead and you tell me my order will be ready, it should be ready. if you tell me you are going to call when my game is ready then you should call. And don't tell me that you did call on a date when I have a record of phone calls, and don't have a record of you calling or leaving a voicemail. . treat people as if they are the foundation of your business. your service was horrible and won't ever be back because I do have a choice oh and no masks by employees. clearly you don't care about your customers or your employees. The meat was processed as one would expect for the fee agreed upon.

We were visiting Livingston for ten days. We went back to Matt's three times. Twice for their delicious NY strips which were heaven on the grill. The third time was to purchase a lot more to bring back home Also, their take and bake pizza is awesome as well as their deli sandwiches. The staff is the best!!

Great quality, reasonable prices. Some game meats like elk and buffalo. Need a dressed duck? You can ger it here. Fair selection of small batch sausage. Friendly service. Tastey, freshly made take and bake pizza. Not as wide a selection of the "commodity" cuts you find at the big brand grocery meat counter but totally understandable considering the small size community they are serving. They have gone from a destination for special event shopping to regular stop on our weeks grocery rounds.

We’re staying at an RV park near Yellowstone and decided we wanted to try cooking a prime rib in the trailer. Matt”s butcher shop sold us a beautiful prime rib roast at a reasonable price. With some advice from Matt”s, we cooked it in the rv oven last night and it turned out so good. We are having leftovers as I write. Matt’s has great quality meat and really good prices too. Thanks

Matt's is where I drive from four corners,Bozeman, or Paradise valley. Steaks,seafood, amazing charcuterie,High grade sushi and tobiko. They are a family business that hire locals from Montana. As it were just a few years ago..Montanans take care of Montanans. The quality is for the discreet consumption. Not for those just dipping their toe in the "I need to be like them industry " Matt's is where we go.

I cut my own meat, and have taken the trim from my elk here the last two seasons to have them add suet and grind it into burger. Both times have been excellent experiences. The service is very prompt, the prices are very fair, and the burger tastes great. If I am lucky enough to to get an elk in the future, I will take my trim here again for sure.

Nice place. But wouldn’t call it a real Old Fashion Butcher shop. Only a couple things they do there. Everything else is boars head meats. Sandwich was delicious but way to much for what we got $$$ for a normal roast beef on white bread.
