Great service!! Food was prepared fresh and fast!
The five dot ranch burger was very well cooked and tasted very good, not very cheap place, expect to spend ~40 for two dishes.
Staff was friendly. We had the Cowboy Caesar Salad with Beef, New York Steak Beef Dip and the Buttermilk Biscuit. The Caesar Salad had a good flavor and the steak was prepared just right, but I would do light on the dressing next time. The New York Steak Beef Dip was also cooked just right. Steak was tender and seasoned right. The crusty bread was great for dipping. The pickle was great. A tad spicy. My complaint about it was that the chips served on the side were mostly crumbs. The biscuit was a little crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. And yes, the apple butter that accompanied it is not literally a butter, but more of a sauce with more sugar. That's was apple butter is. The reviewer complaining that it's not butter is wrong. Overall, it was a very good meal.
Get your cows out of Eagle Lake! The lake is suffering!! Another example of the few impacting a public resource owned by many for profit.
Had the beef sausage and egg biscuit. Delicious Fries and buttery biscuit, just slightly crispy on the outside. Will try the steak made to order with eggs and potatoes next time! Yum.
Great age rib eye steak but they side dish are expensive and they don't give you enough. Yummy!
Very unsanitary cooks and workers..one guy working the register took the back vent off a cooler to clean with his bare hands then served my food..meanwhile the cook wiped the spatula to flip my egg with his dirty apron . As far as the food the biscuit was big ,dry and cold!! The meat sausage had zero flavor or any type of togetherness as a sandwich , I took one bite paid my check and left.. This cost almost 20.00 Maybe they have better cooks on certain days judging from the other reviews. I went on last Wednesday at lunch.
Picked the new york stake and fillet minion and we weren't disappointed. Very delicious, asparagus also cooked perfectly
Fantastic fresh menu. Great service from Tim today!
Get the cornbread! If you take anything away from this review, definitely try the cornbread. It's in a fun food hall setting with plenty of options in case your group has a variety of tastes. It can get crowded so that's something to keep in mind if you come with a large group.
Aloha! I got the Ribeye and it was Perfect. Expensive YES but the Experience Worth it. Brought it back to my Resort grilled to perfection. Thanks guys.
My wife and I had 1.2lbs of dry aged T-Bone, 0.8lbs of boneless ribeye, 4 side dishes, with a glass of wine for $100. Depending on the quality of the meet, this could be a very good deal or a very bad deal, right? Pound for pound, dollar for dollar, the steaks here are arguably one of the best I've ever had. The boneless ribeye just melts in your mouth! A whole lot of flavor and a whole lot of fat! It's not the best ribeye I've ever had but it's certainly up there. For the price, arguably one of the best I've ever had. The T-Bone was absolutely amazing! I am a big ribeye fan but i would go as far to say the dry aged T-Bone might be even better and that's saying a whole lot! For our sides, we had the mushrooms, cornbread, coleslaw, and mac & cheese. The cornbread was amazing but it was too small (they just give you one and it's priced at $7 if you don't get the combo). Mac & Cheese was ok, coleslaw was nothing special, and the mushrooms were also just ok. I can't wait to be back!
I love the meat offering here. I once got a couple of bone-in ribeyes were and they were delicious. I also like that if you buy a steak here, they will grill it for you next door on the spot.
One of the best burgers I've ever had. I literally eat lunch here 3 times a week! ❤️????
It was overcooked than my order but delicious and I had a good dinner with my friends.
Amazing meats, and amazing cooks!
Don’t order beef sausage scramble. It’s egg pancake with gross pieces of French fries embedded in it. Tiny pieces of what might be sausage. Nothing like a breakfast scramble, especially with that ridiculous arugula on top. Nothing like a breakfast.
Got the bone in rib eye, excellent!
Had breakfast here and was very pleasantly surprised at how tasty the corn beef hash was! My gf had the breakfast sandwich which was excellent. The pickled onions and salsa verde were a nice twist on an otherwise simple but good breakfast sandwich. We will be back!
An extremely good burger with excellent flavor with a local brew 'crush' beer. Highly recommended. Definitely a cut above
Food was great and tasty. Dish was well presented and friendly staff!
I was, extremely i.pressed with the quality of ribs year steaks I purchased. The steaks were so tender and flavorful. The steaks were cut professionally. They were evenly cut which is so important. I live in the Bay area and definitely will drive the extra miles to purchase meat from Five Dot Ranch. I highly recommend their meat. It is of the highest quality available. I cannot wait to try other cut's such as stew meat or 90/10 for meatloaf.
Great food! Had the chili dog and it was absolutely delicious! Will definitely be coming back to Napa and trying out more of their food!
Food was excellent! Recommend the carnitas wrap and the chili hot dog. The service was great and the chef even asked us how the food was. We will definitely come back here when we are in town!
I got a beef meatball sandwich from this place. It was piping hot and delicious. The meatballs together with the melted sharp provolone were tasty. And it wasn't drowning with marinara sauce which BTW was also good. They also offer burgers, hot dogs, French dip, Reuben and wraps. You can also get fresh cut meats here because it's part butcher shop. My sandwich was $12 and the portion was enough for 1 person. I think there were three meatballs. Decent place for carnivores like me :)
I can't remember ever having a better steak. The buttery melt-in-your-mouth beef was to die for!! We had the ribeye with 2 sides. My husband had the bone in and I had the boneless. OMG!! Our friends went back again the next night because it was so good! So much better than any Brazilian!
A $3 percolator coffee that's worse than McDonald's and a $4 disgusting heavy biscuit with "apple butter" which is basically just apple sauce. Just awful.
BRUNCH! One of my fave meals. We got the breakfast pie and the corned beef hash. The breakfast pie was for sure my fave. The pastry part was cooked perfectly - it wasn't too thick and whatever the gravy was on top was delicious! The corned beef hash was really good as well. The corned beef was seasoned well and cooked well. The potatoes were seasoned well, but it just tasted like potatoes that were seasoned well. Overall, it was a good meal. Protip: it's inside the Oxbow market so don't look for it on the street.
5 Dot is a 5 Star joint, go in get your steaks and get out before any of the out of towners release any bay area stupidity on you.
Bad food, worse service, unapologetic staff. Stay away! (Of the cookhouse at least) Was ordering a simple breakfast of 2 eggs and bacon as a line formed behind us. Between the cashier girl and the kitchen, they managed to reverse the order of tickets so that we were bumped to the end. After waiting about 40 minutes, and repeatedly asking, the food finally arrived too greasy and drenched in rosemary. Didn't finish half of it. The cashier's didn't apologize, but made the excuse "we're really backed up" in a bored voice. And when reminded that our order should have been done first, she just said that the cook isn't really a morning person. Terrible start to a day in napa. There are plenty of better dining alternatives in oxbow public market.
Rueben was really great. I know this is odd, but the pickle on the side might have been the best I've ever had. My wife had a peach and cheese salad which was equally as delicious. Little bit of a wait, but the food was excellent
Burger meat was burnt. Staff seems to be more concerned about their gossip then the customers. Most likely won't go again.
I had NY strip French dip and Reuben sandwiches. They were out of this world! So much flavor and meat, I was in heaven. Honestly, this is the best French dip I've ever had. Meat was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. French dip was so flavor packed I drank the leftover soup clean. Reuben was amazing too. Cheesy flavor with refreshing peppercorn taste. There's was no overwhelming sauerkraut flavor. I don't know how they did it, but the rueben sandwich had the perfect balance of flavor. Definitely I want to come back and try their steak next time.
Great Steaks, tasty salads and delicious beer. A nice place for a quick lunch.
My first time in California and this place. people polite and always willing to help. very good experience. I recommend.
Don't even try to eat prepared food here. The staff is NOT trustworthy or washed, and they don't care about what they serve. Buy the meat and go cook it yourself.
Great little butcher and BBQ/home cooking stand in the Oxbow market. I absolutely love the hot dog and they have a great breakfast menu. Would definitely like to go back again. Must do when in downtown Napa
(Translated) If you want to experience life steak, you have to eat steak with we grill it! The dry aging lip eye is so delicious. Among the side menus recommended by the staff, spicy kale goes well with the steak. The restaurant in Napa is good, but the steak eaten at the market is the best~~ Crispy on the outside but the meat is too soft medium~ The staff are friendly Most of all, I think it is a breathtaking restaurant in San Francisco where I experienced local steak properly, and it seems to remain a good memory in my memory. Whenever I eat steak, I think I will remember this place~ You pick it !, We grill it!!!! If you go to Napa Valley Winery, it's essential to stop by here.
Have had both the burger here and bought some prepackaged/marinated meat to take home. The burger was good, but the pre-marinated meat was really good.
I enjoy my time every time I am here. I can get almost anything I can think of in their own stylish combos. Highly recommend!
Fresh, locally grow beef!
Best corn beef hash I have ever had
The local meat purveyor to get that special cut of meat for any occasion. Located conveniently in 0xbow Market. I've been a loyal customer for over 15 years. I just ordered 35 day dry aged New York steaks to prepare Steak Oscar
