Good prices. Contrary to what other might think, I like that they don't accept credit cards as it would up the price for everything in store from %1-%3 to cover the markup. Very rude staff we were waiting on a improvised line to get served and a rude employee from the Store, who looks like a homeless guy, tarted to scream on us claiming that we didnt do the stupid line, when were there waiting there for more than 30 mins...He insulting us speaking quebecois with fury then he started to let pass other people behind us and complaining and yelling the whole time.. while the other employees were there just watching and dont nothing to stop the agression. I called up the manager and he didnt do anything he just said sorry and still nobody there wanted to serve us. Finally another employee took my order. We didnt leave the store because It was long ride and I was not ready to leave empty handed because an stupid employee... however After we came home. We checked for the meat and the chicken was damaged with bad smell. Terrible and awful experience, please stay away from that store at all cost!! it doesnt worth it. I learned my lesson. Beware of lazy butchers, which seem to be a problem at this locale. Apparently if you’re buying boneless meat from the display, they will refuse to cut it for you and tell you to do it yourself. I encounter no such nonsense at other Iasenza shops. Don’t bother buying from here if you don’t want to risk being served by someone who refuses to do their job.

While waiting for my number to be called, I saw one butcher on a table with beef, pork, chicken, veal and lamb all on the same cutting board. How this place has ever passed an inspection is beyond me. In the same visit, I also had the misfortune of witnessing a management-type yelling at his employees at the top of his lungs, throwing a type of narcissistic temper tantrum befitting an overtired toddler in a grocery store. It didn't sound like any particular problem was being addressed either, just general displeasure by the manager, who felt fit to berate and belittle staff in front of customers. He didn't notice the butcher with all the meats on his board though, so that's clearly not a problem in their eyes. Once liked this place, now avoid and suggest others do the same. At first, this place looks good. Hard to find products (especially popular products with immigrant cultures) and a clean appearance. Appearance is where cleanliness ends. By spending enough time here (you will have the chance while waiting for your number), you will be able to observe bad habits: the employees touch the chicken and then the other meats, without washing their hands or wearing gloves. Once when I was waiting for a service I saw a butcher with chicken, pork, veal beef and I believe lamb too - all on his table at the same time. I'm not asking if an inspector ever passed this store, because if so, there's no way they would still be open. En premier, cette place semble bon. Des produits difficiles à trouver (surtout des produits populaires avec des cultures immigrantes) et une apparence nette. L'apparence est où ce termine la propreté. En passant assez de temps ici (tu auras la chance en attendant ton numéro), tu pourras observer des mauvaises habitudes : les employés touchent au poulet et ensuite aux autres viandes, sans se laver les mains ni en portant de gants. Une fois lorsque j'attendais un service, j'ai vu un boucher avec du poulet, du porc, du veau du boeuf et je crois aussi de l'agneau - toute sur sa table en même temps. Je ne demande si un inspecteur à jamais passé dans ce magasin, car si oui, il n'y a aucune façon qu'ils seraient encore ouverts. Lors de cette même visite (ma dernière), j'ai eu l'horreur de voir un gérant engueuler les employés, en criant tout fort comme un enfant irrité et délinquant dans une épicerie. Il ne s'adressait même pas à un problème en particulier, plutôt démontrant un mécontentement général avec la vitesse du travail. Ce gérant n'a pas mentionné lors de sa crise le boucher ayant toutes les viandes ensemble sur la table, alors cela ne semble pas un problème dans les yeux de ce magasin, il était plus important que le gérant de fasse voir et entendre faire sa crise que de régler une évidente mauvaise manutention de viande crue. Avant j'aimais cette boucherie mais maintenant je l'évite à tout prix, je suggère que vous faites pareillement.

While the prices are good and they carry a lot of interesting things the service is horrible. The girl at the counter (Saturday that just passed) was of no help when we asked for the thickest steak she just kept trying to give us one that was falling apart and didn't even bother to look or communicate with us. I love this store and would probably have giving it 5 stars. It's huge and really clean; well maintained with limited smell for a butcher. The only reason I rate this store 2 stars is because I tend to always spend a lot of money when I go in so I have a huge amount of bags and cases of chicken. When I asked the cashier if I can take the cart to my car or receive help she very rudely said NO so I had to make 4 trips to my car. This always happens and the worst part of it all, is while I am making my trips the workers just look at me and not even offer help. FYI, it is quiet at the time I go so no one is being served.
