Overcharged? Got a ribeye came to $12.31 sausages thet were $8.09 and a six pack of tarts witch I didn't see the price but it came to 43.63 somehow, did the tarts cost more than a ribeye? There's no breakdown on the receipt.

Went there and got a Stirfry today. They were friendly but the food was atrocious. 15$ for a bland almost inedible stirfry. Will not be returning and would recommend looking elsewhere for your needs.

Fish and Chips, Banquet Burger and Fries, you name it, it's all good. I buy my steaks here too, always tender and cut to order if desired. The prices are very fair and the portions are large. Two piece Fish and Chips on a Friday night is more than enough food for 2 people. The staff, especially the owner, are very friendly, and customer service focused. They always makes you feel welcome when you arrive.

Super friendly and helpful. I had to stop by multiple times on a day most grocery stores were closed. We were baking and missing some crucial supplies, even though some things like butter weren't usually for sale they were willing to sell to us from their own supply. They also sell chow chow, which is really cool as I'd only ever seen it home made before

My husband went in for some butcher string and they were kind enough to give us what we needed for our dinner at no charge. Since they were so kind my husband purchased a Shepards pie and Mac n cheese. OMG they were soooo tasty! Great food and great people all in one place. Thank you! We will definitely be back!

TERRIBLE customer service. We ordered a fresh chicken in advance of Christmas, they confirmed they would have them. We called the morning of pick up and were told yes, they were there but smaller than what we had ordered. That being fine, we arrive to get it and what they have are frozen chickens. VERY dishonest. When I called to speak to the owner (nicely) he was frustrated and didn’t offer any solution. He truly did not want to hear it and accepted no responsibility. There are too many places to shop to put up with that...and 2 days before Christmas- thanks!

Girl on the phone was a little rude and didn't want to talk to us. We also found it upsetting then the butcher wouldn't sell us 2 pound brisket for us even though others butchers in Barrie will... we wont be shopping here.

Excellent corner market. Fresh meat, produce, baked goods. The take out section is great, love the fish and chips, poutine oh so good. Friendly staff. The owner is extremely nice and very helpful. Easy access and open 7 days a week. Highly recommend you try here.

Their fish n chips are very bad as is their schnitzel. There beef and gravy meat pies are very good. My mom bought a peach pie for 7.99 and it turned out to be a apple and was terribly under baked. The lady that works there is cranky and very rude .Halibut house makes the best fish n chips.

I went there this morning Aug 2 , 2020 for a bucket of salt meat , power was off so no credit card , all I had was $20 bill for a $33 purchase, the fine gentlemen there took my $20 and said come back anytime to pay. That my friend is all in the Newfie spirit and trust , because I live in Sudbury and only come to Barrie every couple of months. Thank you sir , you'll have your money soon. Bill Banks
