The customer service here was great. Wasn't sure what cut or amount to buy for my Sunday roast and they nailed it. Delicious and fresh, we ended up buying some sausages and bacon as well, just because they looked so good (and we're so affordable!). Would absolutely recommend them!

It's good meat when you can get it... the when we would order.... well we would TRY to order... only once did they follow through. We have placed over 5 times the same order and they never get back to us. My mother, uncle, and grandfather have also tried but they had the same problem.

Done!! I gave it a second chance and it was the wrong choice.. they're advertising of antibiotic-free is false at lest for the chicken..my wife is allergic to the antibiotics in the meat which is why we specifically go to that butcher. now the new owner is there and she's been getting sick off the chicken. The same allergic reaction she would get eating chicken that is not antibiotic-free..

We are not fans of grocery store meat in our household due to high water content and lack of texture in the flesh. We buy the vast majority of our meat from Delzotto in Alliston. They are a small family run business which appeals to us and the quality of their meats far surpasses that of any grocery store/superstore. They have terrific creative flavours of sausage and the best pre-made hamburgers anywhere! If you are looking for quality meats and great service, this is our favourite butcher shop!

Went in for the first time today. I’ve been to many butchers throughout the GTA. After moving to Barrie I’ve been looking for a good butcher and good meat and usually just end up getting some from Costco. Decided to go pick up some filet mignon and a Tomahawk. Around $80 later I’d have to say, I’ll stick with Costco. Service was lackingAs well. I asked the lady serving me if they do dry aged beef and she said “maybe” and then just handed me my steaks and walked away to start serving next customer. Then I fired up my Big Green Egg, cooked both the filet and tomahawk and neither were very good tasting. ☹️

Used to love this place they had the best quality meat I had ever tasted Ever since new management has taken over the quality of meat has taken a serious dive. I will not be returning to buy my meat here anymore. I bought ground beef from them last week and it actually made me sick. There meat now sadly is not good quality. I would not recommend this place since the new owners took over.

I’m on my third original freezer filler and will continue to order. Sarah is friendly and helpful when calling in your order and having the meat delivered. This last time there was some confusion on a change to the freezer filler package but when I called her she returned the following day with the missing items. Cannot recommend this place enough. Original freezer filler package is great and offers us various cuts for the entire month!!!! Thank you!

I have been going to this butcher shop since it first opened years ago. The owner who does all the custom orders and works with the customers personally is a class act. Top quality meat and products. You want something special he will get it and make sure it's the best. They take pride in what they display and sell. I travel 30 minutes to buy what I want and I know I am getting more then I pay for. I could buy in town, but why would I want to buy something that I actually won't enjoy and pay average money for? Trust me, service is amazing, meat is top notch, everything else that you would want is held at a high standard. If you have any questions about cooking meat or what you should buy for a special occasion they are there to help. If there was a 10 out of 10 I would give 12! Enough said!

Worst Butcher Shop! From Original Owners to Present Owners.... AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL! I am surprised its still open really. Worst cuts of meat, fatty galore, had a bone in a boneless piece? Overpriced pre-packaged items. To be honest... better meat at Zehrs! That being said; I just recently found a new butcher in Shomburg and I am quite please - highly suggest the drive!

Worst experience here! Will not return! Had a gift certificate from previous owner and they would not honour it!! Owner was rude and didn't know how to cut meat properly! Will be contacting consumer relations and report this company! Said he bought the place a couple months ago and those certificates are no good! Didn't care if we had it!! Money was spent on this certificate and should be honored! Very poor customer service! Would not recommend!! I will post on all my social media accounts and tell everyone I know to not go here! Alliston is small town, word travels fast!

If you are looking for high quality Butcher Shop, you found it. Been a customer for more than 3 years now and never been disappointed. This is THE butcher shop. They have a Deli section as well with condiments island and a frozen section. Price is not a determining factor to buy here, you get the quality for what you buy. Highly recommend.

Have purchased meat here many times before and it was always amazing. Today I stopped in to pick some up and can not say the same. I tried to buy some chicken wings and when the lady behind the counter picked them up they were clearly bad and could not be sold. So I got a full chicken and a pulled pork roast. The whole chicken was disgusting, full of blood and very little meat on it. Smelt horrible. The pork is still cooking but I have my doubts. I don't think we will be shopping here again.

Was a little disappointed. Last time I was there, I felt warm and welcome. Now, I didn't get that feeling. Also, I watched one of the workers poke a package of meat with a PEN, the ink side of it. I regret not saying something. Unfortunately, that'll be our last time visiting after that. Also, it also looks like some of the reviews are fakes.

We have ordered from here previously and the meat was good. Our last order the meat had to be thrown away, it was filled with blood on the inside and just gross. We even paid for delivery when previously delivery was free. The owner has not returned any of my messages, calls or emails. After spending almost $300 on our last order I will never use this place again. There are many negative reviews for this place if you look, I think the good reviews posted recently are paid for because so many people have said this place has new management and it’s awful now. Don’t waste your money here.

This place has really good cuts of fresh cut meat. They have a wide selection of different types of meats all available with or without seasoning. There is also some baked goods, spices, specialty cheese and other assorted items that might be of interest. The shop is well maintained, clean and staffed with people who offer service with a smile. The prices are reasonable and reflect the quality of the product. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Only place around where you can get fresh grass fed Canada Beef, best ribeyes ever, always has bones for broth fresh or in the freezer. You can also pick up local coast raised eggs as well, cheaper than in the grocery stores. His local farm raised pork is amazing. Try the bacon! Wish he sometimes carried venison, moose or elk or free run poultry. It is a perfect score.

So I’ve known rick and their family for the last 10 years or so. The quality of meat is unreal!!! They sold it to a guy that ran it into the ground unfortunately and tarnished their brand! With a gutsy move, they bought it back 2 weeks ago and are back on track to being one of the best butcher shops around! Stop in and see these guys AGAIN as they are back running the shop!! Something must have happened to this place. Before the pandemic, I used to go there twice a week. Never had a problem. It was the best meat you could find anywhere. But now, oh my god, the meat looks good in the display but by the time you get home (and I am only 5 minutes away by car), it stinks and full of blood. Twice now I had that problem. This is criminal. People could die eating this meat. I will not go back. Time to find another butcher.

I'm a regular customer here, the attenders are very patient and they give you meat according to your request, they even remove the skin and fat out for chicken and cut them into small cubes if you want it that way; the quality of the meat surprised since I didn't expect it to be sooo good. They also have different cuts of beef, goat and lamb. Price is reasonable and I would definitely recommend it to everyone

As a chef of 30 years, you cannot get this quality of meats at the grocery store. These cuts are aged, marbled and thick. I received my order last night and was hugely impressed. I'm so glad we have Delzotto’s in our area. They offer a great assortment of meat. We love their pulled pork (its precooked so a quick heat and it's ready to serve), and their sausages are some of the best I've tried (my favourite are the Hungarian but the Italian are delicious too). It's also my favorite place to get ground beef. A great place to get good quality meat.
