Yup I agree with Kate Durant -- this place has always ( pre ) and COVID weird -- unfriendly, cold and zero customer service skills -- last time for me -- I live in Vancouver B.C -- and I have never met anything like this back home -- My preference, when in town are the folks at Thrifty's --- and one is met with " personality and great customer service --

Appalled by the situation today at the Duncan Butcher Shop. Been coming here for years and even throughout the pandemic. I won't be coming back anytime soon after seeing your employees not wearing any masks this morning while visiting your store. There is a pandemic going on, and working in close proximity with other workers, customers and handling RAW meat that you are breathing on is disgusting. Clearly your employees do not care about others safety in the slightest as safety precautions are not being taken. Take into consideration of the situation of the world, wear a mask and protect yourself and others in the process.

My wife and I are very concerned about what goes into our bodies, and if we can help the environment when we feed ourselves it is all the better. That is why we like to buy our meat here; most of their products are local. Add to that the fact that many of the products are also either organic or grass fed and you have a real winning combination. But it doesn't stop there either! In addition to the best beef, pork & chicken around, they also have Buffalo, Bison and sometimes Elk, all sustainably raised. Ask a question, the staff are GREAT, almost as good as the prices :-) Access tip: plan to approach this shop from the south, otherwise you will be waiting forever trying to cross the north-bound traffic. The steaks are worth it.

The staff was super friendly and the meat available here is amazing. We're also able to bring our own reusable containers in to use. As long as we're in the area, this is where we'll be going for our meat products.

Utterly disgusted by this local business today. None of the employees working in the back behind the counter were wearing masks while handling the raw meat or anything in the store. You do realize that we are in a pandemic right now? It should be enforced that you need to wear masks. Almost $400 trip to the butcher, didn't buy anything due to this situation. I'm appalled and disgusted and won't be coming back.

Bought Maui kabobs for a dinner party. They were beef that was full of gristle and fat and covered with sauce. Poor quality. Wont buy them again unless quality of meat is raised. Guests were disappointed and so was I.

The service is friendly and helpful, I recieved a Christmas Turkey from there. Absolutely delicious. I just got burger patties, second to none. Looking forward to the roast. The owner is a very nice man. Support your local shops.

We buy the sausages. Gluten free chicken or turkey for the wife and I’ll eat anything. So we get what we need. Very reasonable price. Absolutely delicious. Not kidding. We’ve tried 49th, Johnsonville and everything else. You want sausages. This is the place. Everything else looks good too.

After purchasing some steaks I decided to snag up two big bags of oatmeal that were for sale. Both me and my wife got sick from old products on your shelves that you guys forgot to mention were over 6 months old. Honestly I'll never set foot in your store again and will tell everyone I know what disrespect you have for people who spend their hard earned money in your store. We were sick for a week and missed work all because you wanted to sell old products. Pathetic.

What a horrible service! We came with a group of 3 people not even from the same family and were looking to see what to get. The store was empty with a few more people coming at the the door. The lady at the counter told us to leave as we could only have one of us at the store. The sign said 1 person per family and we were not even from the same family in an empty store. The lady started rolling her eyes, raising her voice, and pressuring us to place an order right away so we could leave the store. I have never been treated so poorly and with so much disrespect at any store before.
