I normally stop here when I'm in the area to grab sausage because its pretty good but I stopped during business hours around 12pm and they are closed dont know why they say there open from 8 to 5 Monday through Friday

My whole family has bought from the Butcher Shop for many years. This year was the first year that a mistake was made and they worked with us to fix it to our satisfaction. The best part was how they all helped us when I realized my tire had went flat in their parking lot! We were very grateful for their help and they have the best meat we have found in our area!

Warning!!! Do not purchase jerky for this place. I stopped by to get a snack one day as I was traveling by and got some jerky. The meat was good until I noticed mold growing on the pieces!

Best tasting smoked pig / hog for a party in a long time. They were perfectly priced. The pig was easy to pick up. The taste was phenomenal. They answered all of my questions and everyone enjoyed the feast.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I live south of Nashville TN, but my folks live in Rolla, MO, just down US 63 from here. They buy all their meat here... they have never had a bad experience. When I have the chance, I go in a few days ahead, place my order and they freeze it for me. I put it in the cooler and bring it back home. The meat is excellent! And they will wrap the portions you want, the way you want. You want to buy 10 pork chops and have them wrapped in 2 pork chop portions?? No problem! It is on my place to stop when I am at the folks for the holidays!

I think this place only survives because it is the only processor in the area. It is baffling that someone would have to explain to a BUTCHER what certain cuts of beef are. For example, I asked for beef plate ribs (short ribs that, by definition, are not cut up). What I received was individually cut up ribs that I'm racking my brain trying to figure out how to use. Apparently these guys cannot be bothered to use Google to figure out the things they should already know. Not to mention how rude and curt they were with my family. Really disappointing when spending this kind of money.

Meat is not cut uniformly at all. My filet mignon was cut at crazy angles making it impossible to get a consistent doneness. Rib eyes were cut with caps missing. I only wish I could post pics to show you. This is 2 years in a row. There w9nt be a third year.

By far the best shop for processing deer and buying meats! Their seasoning is the best I’ve found of all the places I’ve tried. The prices are exactly where they need to be for the products and services they offer. The jerky is a favorite! If it’s sold out or you want to make your own, ask for their seasoning!
