Swan Lake has been a staple in the community for a very long time. They offer a number of different products, primary aimed at gardening, however they do have a grocery store and bakery. What they do, they do well. Their garden center is excellent, the bakery is one of the best in Vernon, and their grocery store offers an superb selection of local fruit and produce. All of this, and the prices are reasonable. Make a trip to Swan Lake Nurseryland, you won't regret it.

Cute little market. You can get your canning fruits and vegetables here. There is plenty of gardening supplies as well. There is grab and go items on site. They also have delicious ice creams for sale. There is a mini grocery section. You can get all your fruit and veggies for cooking here. The bread is good but cut a little thin. They have D Dutchman Dairy products available. You can also buy condiments but they are very expensive.....$5 for a small jar of jam. I love places like this. Never know what trinket or unique item you will find. It's like going on an adventure. Gave 4 stars only because it's very cramped and crowded and the staff is less than attentive at the meat counter. They were more into talking amongst themselves than helping the people at their counter waiting for them. Finally had to wave both hands in the air and speak very loudly to get some chicken breasts. $24 for 5 breasts.

Very organized and welcoming place! The staff is kind and caring, with lots of free smiles, we felt at home. Best part was the Apple Cinnamon Loaf, incredible! We loved the experience! Next time we come to Vernon we will definitely visit Swan Lake Nurseryland again!

A bit pricey for some things, like canning supplies. Great prices on seasonal fruit, for example apples, but got a better price at Davidson's for watermelon in August 2020.

I have been buying my plants, fruits and vegggies at the Swan lake Nurseryland Garden Center for 30 years and never once have had a bad experience. The staff have always be helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. Their produce fresh and fairly priced. I have never lost a plant or found any to be unhealthy or buggy. Their local fall fruit is very inexpensive. I wish them many more yrs. of excellent service.

Swan lake nursery land tops my list of things to see in Vernon even if you’re not in the market to purchase any garden plants, they have a ton of vases, planters, pond building items and bird feeders. They have a ton going inside the market with their freshly made sandwiches, baked goods, and ice cream Swan Lake Nursery is an ideal place for a pit stop if you’re driving through Vernon. They have a large area of fresh local and imported fruits and veggies as well as a small area of canned foods. Perfect one-stop-shop for a take home meal. They also have a cute selection of clothing items in the back, where I bought the simple yet cute palm frawn pattered dress, perfect for those hot summer evenings. They also had a lot of fun accessories like purses to complete the look.

Great assortment of fresh produce as well as prepared food to go. Bakery / deli ready with your snacks,coffee,soup and delicious pies. Sit down area overlooks Swan Lake. ( in distance) Most prices are comparable to larger grocery stores while some specialty items show higher cost. Pleasant ,well lit atmosphere.

Fantastic friendly and knowledgeable staff combined with top quality products and produce ( local of course) make this place always AWESOME!! Most recently I was shopping for Christmas and purchased indoor herb garden supplies. Brent was incredibly helpful and so was the woman who gave me lots of free advise. Obviously there is lots available to purchase online however; heaven knows what quality it will be or shape it will show up in. Shopping local with community focussed shops like Swan Lake Nurseryland is healthy and good for everyone involved.Another fun and insightful experience for sure. Julie

The lady that my husband asked if u have bean plants....and said...you start those by seed..(snotty.)..obviously hasnt been to the armstrong nursery.....yes most do start by seed....but when u live in an area that has less growing season....u need the plant....thinking maybe it wouldnt have bothered me so much if she had a better attitude.....oh well.....the citronella i bought is nice tho....got my bean plants and all bedding plants from Armstrong ???? awesome service and when asked for bean plants ....well guess what ! They had them......hmmmm..

Went to do a quick shop for produce and was very impressed by the selection and quality! Less impressed by the cashier who was quite rude to me, pointing out where the tap was on the pos machine. I have one eye under a patch and wasn't able to see it on the BACK of the machine. Then, after packing my own $52 of groceries into my bag, she instructed me to leave the basket where it was. When I told her that I needed to get my heavy bag out to the car, she said loudly "well THAT doesn't go outside!" I suggested she must be an employee of the previous owners because she was very rude, and took my groceries, in the forbidden basket, to my car (and returned it to the front door). Brought back memories of shopping at this market prior to the reno, and how many times we left, disappointed by how we were treated by the staff. We hoped for better with new management and a shiny new market, but some of the old attitude seems to have stayed. Definitely not seeing the "friendly" advertised in your flyer.

It looks like Such a beautiful place. Great selection of products. However I was very disappointed to open my bag of pickling cukes to find them slimy with skin coming off. A total waste of money. Make sure you open to look at products. They should not be selling them in that condition I’m sure the shoppers in Vernon would be returning. They were not cheap. .

A large variety of great plants such as flowers and trees outside. Has fruit as it is a market as well. The area is large and the staff are very helpful and chatty. The market has a clothing area, a souvenir area, cut flower area, and even meat plus baking. It's a small supermarket within itself. The prices are a bit high but I love wandering around and seeing all the different merchandise.

Best selection we've found in town, and helpful staff if you can find one. They're busy and it's a large space outdoors. But when we were scratching our heads about what blueberry bush to get, a staff member saw us, dropped what she was doing and helped us find the right varieties for us. She was great and seemed so excited for us blueberry 'first-timers'.

I live just around the corner and three times I have been to this place spending my HARD EARNED MONEY and 3 times the cashiers have been what I would say as RUDE to me. I get having a Bad day..I get not feeling well, but looking at a person making them feel as though they are dirtier than the ground is not acceptable. I am debating on regardless of convenience and regardless of a deal....being made to feel I am a inconvenience is weighing on my promoting to friends and family and even coming back myself!

Swan Lake Fruit Market has lots of produce, local and organic available. They have lots of choices of beans and grains from Fieldstone Organics. You can use the grinder in the store and make fresh flour right there! They have many choices of seeds, beans, etc for sprouting or growing your own micro greens.

Usually Swan Lake is excellent but because of the Covud19 crisis Swan Lake does not have all the fruit it usually Carrie's. Social distancing is difficult but possible. Otherwise I enjoy shopping at Swan Lake Nursery.

I was so so upset I called to tell them the plants I bought 2 days ago have wilted very badly so I brought them in was told to wait so the person could see what can be done waited 1/2 an hour and he came back and told me no one was available to help me, so I had to go back home and he said that I will be called tomorrow with an answer all I wanted was to pick something else I did not want my money back. I am in retail to and NEVER would I treat a costumer like that April 14 well I am going to eat crow I got a phone today from Bridget she was GREAT she understood and she was really lovely and said to come in and we will do an exchange I thankyou so so so much <3

This is a great place to take the family and get the garden ready for the year. The selection is large and the staff is great… I find that the prices are fair and things are easily laid out so you can take a cart around and fill it up. I like how the soil is stacked up by the vehicles so you can pay for it inside and then easily transported into the back of your car or truck.
