Good place for local grass fed beef and pasture raised pork/chick. Have some decent quality in the diary selection as well, stuff like grass fed organic milk. Hope you increase the cheese selection, including something like wash rind cheese or blue cheese. Now the only collections are mild cheese like gouda, cheddar of Brie.

I called to ask about chicken prices, before making the 45min trip. "our policy is to not give prices over the phone to customers" Since when did buying chicken become so bureaucratic? Hopefully that ‘policy’ has changed

Love all the Sunworks products! Favourites are the pork sausage, chicken patties, chicken breakfast patties, tenderloin steaks, any of the chicken...ok, yeah, everything! Love that it's all organic and we're supporting a local Alberta farm. Great for anybody who's looking for quality meat with minimal ingredients added.

As a person with Celiac Disease, I have had bad gluten reactions from a Sunwork Farms meat product multiple times - the chicken salami. While their meat products are labelled “gluten free," Sunworks Farms does not actually make Certified Gluten Free products, which would include consistent and professional measurement of gluten in parts per million in every aspect of every food product and creation process by the national accredited body. Personally, I unfortunately no longer trust that Sunworks Farm meat products are completely safe for Celiacs because they choose to not be Certified as Gluten Free.

I don't know what Harv is talking about.... I just called there and they were very helpful! They gave me a bunch of prices on different meats I was considering smoking, they were even able to accommodate my very large order through their farm office. They have the lowest price I have found so far on beef ribs and they are organic and grass finished! I will be buying more from them in the future! I spoke with Pauline, very friendly and helpful.

My family absolutely loves everything we’ve tried at Sunworks. Some of our favorites are Montreal smoked beef sandwich meat, chicken burgers and breakfast sausages, eggs, and awesome deals when you purchase online in bulk I always stock up on ground beef, steaks, pork tenderloin and chicken tenders. They also deliver it right to my house and I really enjoy that service!

Sunworks is now the only place we buy our meat. You pay more because it's quality meat. But they offer great deals in buying bulk boxes, and the farmers market location always has a buy 5 packs of sausages deal to save a percentage.

My experience with Sunworks is mixed. The product itself is good quality but there has always been a lot of blood in the package, which due to its consistency appears to be intentional. Far more than comparable suppliers. That's a lot of blood at upper range organic price per lb.

Purchased two dozen eggs from them at the Strathcona farmers market. The eggs were a huge disappointment. The yolk was pale, and lacking in flavor. Either the eggs were mislabelled as to how free range they were, or worse the eggs were purchased from somewhere else and are being resold. I will not be buying from them again.

Sunworks' eggs are delicious and so fresh! Their eggs taste better than any of the organic eggs I've bought from grocery stores. If you like eggs, I definitely recommend that you try out Sunworks' eggs. I get them on Saturdays at the Old Strathcona Farmer's market (its open from 8am-3pm year round @ 10310 83 Ave).

Really struggled with getting our 18month old daughter to eat any form of meat. Bought a variety of their chicken sausages and she loves every single flavour! All staff on hand at the farmers market were extremely friendly and helpful. Couldn't be happier with our experience, quality of product and service is well worth the extra cost!

Didn't taste any different than save-on. Just triple the price. Bought all cuts and flavors of steak and chicken to compare. The chicken sausage 3 different flavors, all of them bland. Also wrapped in plastic? Come on.
