Best and I deal place for fresh meat specially I will definitely give them 5 stars. I saw some comments with one picture they dont leave them meat outside .this picture is talking when they reacived a meat delivery they were taking meat inside because it was heavy .please donot go with these old reviews. These past negative reviews is misleading people's.

I ordered chicken leg pice and the fat is not cleaned.went home and disappointed with that took half hr to clean , and price is higher then other grocery store in Calgary .other then store have lots of good products but need to maintain cleaning and organize. lots of stuff laying around allover the store !

Recently purchased a leg of goat for roasting. Beautiful quality, very tender, and very little fat. Service in this store is excellent, cuts of meat tailored to the customer's need, method of cooking, as well as advice for cooking if required. We roasted the meat simply with a bundle of leeks and rosemary, and the result was delicious. Definitely shopping here again. Would have given 5 stars but this is our first purchase so need a little more experience with the store.

Not going there again. I went to get 2 lbs of goat meat, the guy first wanted to sell me what was left already cut meat which was all bones. I asked I need 2 lbs and not more he responded very rudely that I have a full goat leg and I’m not going to sell you only 2 lbs if you want take the whole leg if around 6 lbs. I needed fresh meat that time and didn’t have enough time to go to NE to Skyview Groceries so I bought it. Not going there at all.

Clean store with almost everything you might need if you’re cooking desi. The meat is good quality. It’s a family-owned operation and everyone is super nice. Just a tad bit pricier than the desi stores in NE, but then again it’s a very convenient location for people living in this vicinity.

I just saw a recent review on here that mirrors my situation. I literally got sick because of the chicken i bought from here and its not the first time it happened. The butcher replaced it the first time with an apology but it happened again now and its simply unacceptable. I really hope this place is checked by Alberta food and safety soon because its disgusting.

I’ve shopped here once and they are extremely rude and have a rude tone. I once phoned later asking if they had a certain product and the person on the phone replied in a rude tone then hung up right away. They really need better customer service skills as I’d much rather drive to NE then come here to get stuff when it’s closer to me just because of how they treat customers.

Very disappointed with the meat that we bought here. The meat was very smelly and the owner and the guy cutting meat denied that it was rotten. We had to ask them to cut another piece and the owners were not even apologetic. Never going back here and don’t recommend this to anyone.

I used to buy chicken from here all the time to go bbq or make broth and i was always was a little skeptical because sometimes it would smell a little weird but recently i got chicken from them and it made me and my girlfriend extremly sick. It smelled horrendous and looked like it was rotten when i checked a day after keeping it refridgerated. I wanted to take this to the authorities but i let it go simply because i dont want to ruin someones hustle but i really hope they stop this practice asap.

DISAPPOINTED. BLOOD INSIDE CHICKEN EVEN AFTER COOKING IT FOR 1.5HRS. Returned to this store after one year with a lot of expectation. The owner is really nice and professional although had a terrible experience with the meat this time. Got 3 chicken, cooked them all with different style and marination. All 3 meals turned out with chicken PINK and RED from the inside even after cooking it for about an hour and a half. Not the first time cooking/having chicken so pretty sure it shouldn't have turned out to be like that after cooking 3 different meals ranging from 1.5-2HRS cooking time.

Very good place. Service is wonderful. I met the owner during my visit to the store. He was very professional and ensured I left the store fully satisfied. Since its a new place they didn't have all the variety of meat that I needed.

This meat shop constantly smells of rotten meat when I walk by. They have also left raw meat out in the sun in the summer from 9am (or earlier as I saw it at 9am) until about 12:30pm in 29 degree weather. Photo of the meat is shown. The owner is rude, gets mad at woman and the man who cuts the meat smokes outside in his plastic gloves and apron which both have had blood on them before. This shop needs to be visited by AHS as there are a bunch of health hazards associated with this location. If I could, I would leave zero stars for this place. You are better off travelling the extra 15/20 minutes to the NE and going to a halal shop there.
