Hot food selection, not bad. I got 6 perogies and 1 cabbage roll. Perogies were pork stuffed. Odd. Never had. Wouldn't have again. The dough itself was delicous. Potato and cheese would have been MUCH better. No dollop of sour cream?? Cabbage roll, stuffed with pork. Not bad. Their sausage looks good. They have mashed potatoes and veggies as well as schnitzel.

I'm embarrassed to say I lived next door to this place for 3.5 years before finally making it through the doors and was pleasantly surprised at the large selection of European foods you could only get if you actually flew to Europe. As a half Ukrainian/ Hungarian I can say that I appreciate the authentic food I grew up eating at my Oma's house can all be found her in a 1 stop shop. This place has a great variety of European cheese, deli meats, breads and frozen aisle dedicated just to dessert and savoury pirogies. I'm impressed and will return.

Exceptional selection of not only foods from Poland but central and Eastern European foods as well. They bring in the bread but much of the deli items are made there. The cheeses and deli meats are superb. HINT. The Mille-feuille is amazing. My favourite and reminds me of the old bakeries in Quebec. They sell by weight so you don’t have to order just one or two. You pick the size.

I was there last week planning to treat myself with some delicious prosciutto and smoked chicken. The staff is dealing with fully cooked products, though none of them is wearing hair net or gloves. They are bringing boxes from the back room, taking food, slicing it, taking sliced products with their bare hands and placing them on scales, using PoS and accepting cash from the customers with greasy hands, and taking food again. Such a flourishing environment for bacteria! There is a sink in the room but I only noticed one girl quickly rinsing her hands without using soap and wiping them against her clothes! Shame! Great store, wonderful products, and absolutely unsafe and unprofessional staff behavior.

Two stars because of the products, however, the customer service has lots of room for improvement. We were waiting to order some freshly cooked meat crepes, however, nobody showed up to serve us. We rang the bell, the lady came out yelling at other lady in polish language to come over to serve us who did not bother, she called another one who said she was busy as well. Unbelievable! Get more staff or let less customers inside so everyone can be served.

I am sorry but 4 days before Christmas and at 4 pm in the afternoon I was told there is no beef stew meat for bigos left nor was there any pork meat left. There was no biala kielbasa as well. I have never experienced luck of those important items before. I am sorry but one can go to Jan Deli at 5 minutes before closing and there will always be meat and all cold cuts and sausages available. My experience at Polcan Meat was disappointing.

Whata ebbarrassment to the polish community! I ordered 2 cabbage rolls and a dozen pierogies from hot food counter and I've gotta tell you don't waist your money! Its way over priced and the pierogies were like rubber and had NO cheddar in them at all plus no butter and onions! The cabbage rolls were just ok and the sauce was from a can! I'll never recomend this place to someone who wants to sample real home made polish food! Good luck, ill never go back!

Eat-in Deli lunch has no garnish choices for meatball, only for main menu items like cabbage rolls. Not even fried onions with bacon chips. Suspect creamy mushrooms had some pure milk not cream. Not good for my digestion with lactose intolerance hanging on to food for days afterwards.

Reasonable prices for Euro stuff..... Hungarian sausage was $8.40 for two giant links. Tasty! The manager (I think) might not be observant. I phoned ahead and asked if they had any sausage buns earlier (the longish mini baguettes for euro wieners) and whoever answered the phone said no. I went anyways because I wanted the sausage. There were like six bags of buns right on the shelf! Not a big deal, but lacking customer service there, because she didn't even check. I assume it was the manager I spoke to because the voice on the phone was the same in store. Anyways, I will be returning regardless.

After today's service by a lady in the meat department (young, very mannered blonde) I will never have this dilemma. I also recommend to everyone shopping in Cracovia, there I have never been served with grace. (Original) Zawsze mam dylemat do którego polskiego sklepu jechać- Polcan czy Cracovia. Po dzisiejszej obsłudze przez panią na dziale mięsnym ( młoda mocno zmanierowana blondynka ) tego dylematu mieć już nigdy nie będę. Wszystkim również polecam robienie zakupów w Cracovii, tam jeszcze nigdy nie zostałam obsłużona z łaską.

The store after renovation looks very sad and depressing. The color inside is black an grey. Very dark in there. I liked the food and cold cuts but this dark color is not tempting at all.

For anyone buying a loaf of dumpling, avoid this place at all costs; $10 for a loaf of dumpling is highway robbery. They rip you off if they suspect you’re not a polak and can’t speak the polish language. BEWARE!!! — STAY AWAY!

Superb Polish Deli - I visit Polcan once a week for fresh pork servalot sandwich meat, fresh sausages, Liver Pâté, and I sometimes partake of the hot food (delicious by the way and reasonably priced), and a copy of the Russian newspaper for my Mother-in-law. Excellent quality products, all made on site and gluten free. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

I have been going to polcan for a least 15 years on & off. The food is indeed very good including the hot polish items!! HOWEVER, over these many years, some negative behaviors have not improved! Many of the staff are surly & rude. They ALL speak Polish to each other in front and while serving customers! It seems common sense is in short supply in Poland, as they are all from there! Some speak little English. I want to note here that NOT all have a bad attitude. Also, none wear gloves or hairnets. Every slice of meat they cut is touched numerous times by their raw hands. That is illegal! I will be reporting this to Health authorities very soon. Hopefully, that will help all their customers, and keep them safe!

Great service. Great food. For anyone who does not like big store food quality this store is a must try. Ask for "kabanosy" or "goralska" kielbasa. You will be blown away with the taste. Also, if you are looking for natural remedies like herbs, it is a goldmine. Don't go for that junk in big stores. This is the place if you like to stay healthy with natural herbs and teas.

I gave two stars just because the quality of the meat products is great, otherwise it would be 0 stars. Unfortunately the customer service is non existent. Went there the other day and wanted to buy some cold cuts and sausage, but all four ladies were busy talking and did not bother to ask me what I wanted. Very disappointed, considering that I was the only customer in the store. I won't be shopping there anymore, because there are similar stores with better customer service.

New colors, wide selection of sausages and other goodies, smiley faces... Nothing really matters when you see a slice of ham or bacon you are about to buy laying on a clerk's bare hand. It's disgusting . And if you make a comment about it they are arguing they are allowed to do that.

I usually love coming here but recently I was in with my mom and we felt a little bit unwelcome. The lady behind the deli counter (the younger one with long blonde-ash hair) just seemed unhappy to be there and when we walked up to the counter she turned around and started talking to this other employee and were giggling and looking back at me and my mom. I don’t know what the problem was but that was not professional whatsoever. We felt as if they were talking about us. I love all the products you guys offer but that staff situation really made us unhappy.
