I bought a boneless sirloin here on Sat Jan. 16, 2016, and the packaging said it was fresh, dated Jan. 15, 2016. The next evening, when I went to grill it, it had gray spots. GROSS! Very disappointing for a supermarket that is supposed to be known for their meats. My partner's steak was also mislabeled (he bought a bone-in rib steak, and it was incorrectly labeled and priced as a boneless rib steak). I won't be buying meat here again. Our dinner was ruined, and the store gave me a $20 gift card. Considering it was a $6 steak, this means that my additional drive there and back to return the steak, as well as my ruined dinner were valued at $14 CAD. I don't think that's a fair value considering a ruined evening.

Service is always great. Easily accessed when you go at the right time as parking is fairly limited. Fresh meat and poultry. Some goods are definitely cheaper here. The somewhat hard to find pharmacy items can be found here. Some veggies and fruits just have to be reduced to sell before they go off (ex. Mangoes and okra - these two always seem to be expensive even when they look like they're about to go off)

I was very pleased with nesters selection of vegetarian vegan food I also was impressed with the fact that they had recycled plastic meat trays, which are still recyclable. Found some great ginger beer as well as a few other things you don't normally see and Other Stories.

Beautiful store with lovely people to receive at the entrance and all over the store, and the store has variety of options for multi cultural people, the store always has fresh vegetables and fruits along with the baked goods. Coming to the meat section they have large range of options like the special parts (tongue, kidney, heart, liver which are good for blood levels) of beef and goat. The pharmacy has lovely natural and vegan products with them.

Nesters is a Whistler institution for groceries - healthy food, great service, nice produce with lots of organic selections and even a new Kombucha bar with growlers for refill. Hot TIp: There is a great wine shop in back of the same complex with unique wines not found in the BC Liquor Store.

I live in White Rock but needed a gift delivered to Whistler. Ian at Nester's went beyond the call of duty and created a delicious gift basket for us, personally choosing chocolates, Asiago dip, crackers, fresh fruit and even a bottle of Malbec. He packaged it beautifully in a basket and sent us a photo once it was delivered! Excellent customer service. Thank you!

Today, I can in to get an Italian sub after a long hike. When the woman at the deli counter offered to heat up the sub, I chose not to since I was hungry and didn’t want to wait. She offered a second time, telling me it was quite nice heated up, and I was smart enough to say yes. Two things: 1. This was the best sandwich I’ve had in a very long time, and she was totally right that heating it up made a big difference 2. That employee was awesome and went out of her way to make sure I had the best experience

Organic, local or international, whatever we want, it's there. Thank you Nesters Team. I have been shopping there for 25 years and have never been disappointed. If you're looking for an alternative to IGA.. Nesters is it! The only thing that they offer that is larger than IGA is the pharmacy and natural supplements. Otherwise, you're probably better off at IGA (if it's closer to you)

I was very hungry/thirsty/tired and had a chip on my shoulder when I walked into the store. When I left I felt 100% better. This store is full of healthy, fresh food and so nicely displayed. The whole store smells amazing, even through a mask. It is incredibly organized and clean. There were friendly staff to help find my 'relief' Yerbe Matte. And they had the best cinnamon buns ... fresh!!! Life sometimes dishes it out, right? And we get the "grumpies". WELL>...when I left the store, I still felt tired, but so much of the grumpy had vanished. Through kindness, a young gent server had asked me about my day and cared to listen to the answer. He loaded my 'soul food' groceries with care [ie didn't squash my apple]. I highly recommend this store ++++

So happy that Nesters exists! Being able to place an order from a different country, travel all day, and arrive to find everything in the order is perfect makes traveling a lot easier!!! Bruce is absolutely wonderful and so eager to help, even with my out of the norm requests. I finally visited the physical location and met Jennifer and her lovely smiling face. Wonderful store, excellent produce, and extremely friendly and accomodating staff. If only all grocery stores were like Nesters!!!! Thank you Bruce, Jennifer, and everyone at Nesters!

It's the original Nesters market, it is local and the staff they have working here are generally great. They have a decent assortment of products, but I sometimes find pricey and not enough organic choices. They carry a lot of name brand conventional foods.
