If I could give this hotel zero I would. We stayed here for Christmas and what a mistake that was. When we checked in our room was freezing cold. We attempted to turn on the fireplace which wouldn't turn on. So we tried to call the front desk but the phone wasn't working so we tried to call with our cellphone but nobody would pick up. So we did what we could and got the fire going but the smoke was too much and the fire alarm kept on going. So we had to keep on opening the doors to let the smoke out. The next morning we went and told them what was going on and they told us they will send someone right away. They didn't. Then we saw a staff walking and told her what happened. She said she will let the manager know and they will send someone. Still they didn't. We went out for a couple of hours and when we came back we went to front desk again and they said they will send someone and AGAIN nobody came. The worst customer service we have ever received. We paid $400 per night and deserved better service than this. We won't be back!

Stopped in at Buffalo Mountain Lodge to see if it was a good fit for a possible wedding venue. The staff were attentive and polite. The lodge is beautiful inside and out and so rustic. We also wanted to check out the rooms as we and our guests would be staying there for a couple of days as well; they were nicely decorated that had a beautiful fireplace and most rooms had a deck to enjoy the outdoors. I wouldn't hesitate staying there at all.

The rooms are really comfortable and always stocked with firewood/ kindling to help create a perfect weekend getaway! Located a short 5 minute drive from Banff Ave, the friendly staff and complementary shuttle service help ensure you fully enjoy your visit the Banff!

It’s okay... First impressions of the room weren’t great - flys and mosquitoes buzzing about and not as clean as you’d want (windowsill filthy for example). Lovely setting and mixed staff (some friendly and helpful, other very much less so). Bar closed very early at 9pm. Could easily be a solid 4 star with a few easy improvements.

you guys are amazing. Every time I stay here I am so impressed, so happy, and always feel special. Thank you for the cookies in the room and superb service as usual. This is my favorite getaway close to home, I always feel sad when it is time to check out because you guys are so good to us. Every team member we interacted with was friendly and seemed happy to be there. This was my 5th stay and I will return again and again. Thanks guys, I love this lodge!!!!

They won't give you a refund even though you cancel within their cancellation policy. Won't be going back, too bad it's a nice place. Obviously they are more concerned about a one night customer than a returning one.

Rooms didn't have good electrical, only had one usable socket, so we had to take turns charging things or not have lights on. Room was not cleaned very well, still had lots of momentos from the last persons stay.

My wife and I had checked in on August 1st 2021 at room number 301 at your buffalo mountain lodge. The phone at my room doesn’t work. Last night at the upstairs (the room above 301) there were lot of running, jumping and walking noise at night. As the phone at my room doesn’t work I tried calling the reception from my personal phone few times sporadically. Unfortunately no one responded at the reception and we couldn’t sleep at all last night.

Extremely happy with the service. Awesome to have a free shuttle to get back and forth to downtown. Fireplace is amazing to have in the room. Room itself is cozy. Made a great choice staying here- extended our stay by a day- this place is wicked good! ????☃️????

It's a good value hotel with a nice location. The rooms are bit smokey but that's expected with a wood burning fireplace. The hotel would be really nice with a mini fridge and if cleaning staff could brush the pine needles off the balcony. Overall good stay at this hotel.

Attention to details and flawless customer’s experience were indeed demonstrated by Linda ensuring we got everything we need. My husband & I had truly enjoyed our stay. I had the chance to speak with Melissa prior to our arrival and she was amazing as well. The room is clean and well maintained. Husband’s advance birthday stay overall experience was awesome and we highly recommend Buffalo Mountain Lodge to our Family & Friends. Kudos and five stellar property????
