SHOCKED!!!! I’ve always been impressed with almost everything we’ve purchased at M&Ms, especially the boneless beef roast with rich dark gravy. The staff in every location have been pleasant and attentive. Now we love calamari but over the years have been very wary of ordering it in a restaurant, especially one that we aren’t familiar with. Invariably it arrives thick, rubbery and difficult to chew. Thankfully we’ve found a few places that have good calamari. So what are the chances that a company selling frozen calamari rings would have an edible product? My opinion......slim to none. But it’s M&Ms and I was willing to throw away my money and give it a try. SHOCKED! Their calamari was as tender as any I’ve had in a trusted restaurant. I’ll even go so far as to say it may have been the tenderest I’ve had. It begs the question, why aren’t restaurants buying from M&Ms or the same supplier?

My father-in-law visited the local M&M's in Cornwall today and was rudely rejected entry into store. He is on oxygen for COPD and can not wear a mask. He was approached and told that he needed to wear a mask, he said he couldn't for medical reasons. Then rudely was told to wait outside in the humidity to give them his order while he had to wait outside. BTW, he also has been fully vaccinated with 2 Pfizer vaccinations. I am utterly upset with the way he was treated, especially since we are in stage 3 of reopening. If I could give 0 stars I would. They should be ashamed of themselves. Totally lost my business.

I went to this store recently. I had tried another one, approximately the same distance from home. The first location so ok. This was fantastic!! It was well laid out, and easy to find stuff. The staff was very helpful. I even bought Plum Dipping Sauce that they recommended as I was cashing out. I teased them about pushing for an extra sale, but I appreciated their making sure that I had everything I need. I will definitely be back!

My only recommendation is that when you are putting a customers order together for curb side pick up is that you TRIPLE check it to make sure everything is in the order. Very frustrating to get home and find out things are missing!

Shop has a surprising amount of option for the size of the store, and a fair number of gluten free options, which is great. But what really made this a five star experience was how thoughtful the staff were towards my daughter with Down Syndrome and Autism. They engaged with her, and even did some basic sign language. During checkout, we had a conversation about how important it is to include people who don't communicate in the same ways, and about how my daughter was important and valued. Excellent experience, and we'll definitely be back!

Update: I went into the store a few days ago. I don't usually go myself, but my wife gave me a list. I could not find what I was looking for, so I asked an older woman where the products were? The woman got snoody with me. I told her that I did not usually shop there myself, and I did not know the layout. She did look for the products but I did not feel valued as a customer after that experience. I told my wife that I was not going into that store again!They had roast beef on sale. If you brought the email they sent, the roast beef was $7.00 off. My wife went to purchase the roast beef, but was told that they were sold out until Friday. Another woman was in there for the same thing. She had bought potatoes and all the trimmings just to find out there was no roast beef. If that was not bad enough, there is no rain cheque as this was the last day of that sale.

Like most of the food, is good for a quick meal and a break from cooking all the time , but I have been disappointed with the quality. A lasagna I ordered had all the meat and sauce on one half and all the lasagna noodles on the other half. This week I ordered a bruchetta and some BBQ honey garlic chicken wings and I found a hair in both products.

After recently suffered a fall, I thought would take advantage of the pre cooked meals as it was easier for now and cheaper than ordering take out. We have tried chicken pad thai . The chicken was very good. The rest was garbage. The noodles were a gummy mess. I followed the instructions to the letter. They were literally glue and horrible. The next evening was lasagna. Again..so horrible. It was a disgrace to call that slurry between the noodles a meatsauce. All the cheese stuck to the top cover, had to scrape it off. The noodles were not well cooked. That has been my experience so far. Have a freezer full of assorted stuff. Hopefully it gets better

My husband and I were in on Saturday and the 2 guys working were fantastic.they were filling coolers,moving products forward as customers made their choices, were offering samples and when my husband and I went to pay they both came to the cashdesk both very friendly and courteous and with out a word to each other one scanned while the other bagged and they were both very pleasant. Good visit May 29, 2020 to pick up food for the freezer! Store is open for either walk-in shoppers or online shopping. Due to COVID19 restrictions, for walk-in people they are now allowing 5 shoppers in store at a time. Upon entry you must use hand sanitizer and disposable plastic glives which they provide. They also provide a disposal bin to put the gloves in when you leave. I went in just before 7PM and was the only shopper in-store. Did not know exactly what I wanted so asked lots of questions about different things they now offer. 2 employees helped answer my questions. Left at 7:20. Another shopper went in store just after I left. Good time to go shop there!

Are you going to M&M Meat Markets before when they were in their old location. Most of the meals back then were for families. Now they also have single meals available for those of us that need single Mills. It is a nice change from say Swanson's. They also have French onion soup.

We had a basket full of things to buy and low and behold my 5 year old had to go to the washroom. They would not let her use their washroom there because it is not a "public" washroom. We left our stuff to find a bathroom and will never be back. Brutal.

I've been to a lot of m&m's locations and I have to say this is by far the worst. The staff usually fantastic however in this location there is an older lady not sure of her name.. She should definitely not be in customer service, more along the lines of a prison guard i think suites her! I've been here a few times an shes always the same..so cant just say shes having an off day. I will never shop at this location again!!

I have some favorites that have their own dedicated shelf space in my freezer. Some things you'll like, others not so much but you'll have fun trying everything. The caramel cakes are unbelievable but the real treat here is the staff. The ladies here are the friendliest, most helpful people you will find anywhere.
