Fantastic meat prices, and the quality of the meat is wonderful. I can taste the difference between the grocery store chicken breast and Chater's chicken breast. All the staple meats (beef, pork, chicken) are local and fresh. The staff are very friendly. Also, if you love canned corn on the cob: these guys have it.

Always fresh cut meats at reasonable prices. Family owned and grade A+ meats. I no longer shop at Superstore, Sobeys or Costco for my meats. They have homemade sausage, pepperoni, any type of cut meats such as pork, chicken, and beef. They make awesome homemade beef jerkey, and the hamburger meat is real and they don't use fillers in anything. Do yourself a favor you owe it to yourself to get a a superior product at affordable prices. Shop local and stop buying from these overpriced grocery stores. Love this market the only thing I don't like and it's 100% my fault is that I didn't discover this place sooner.

Fantastic place! I buy all my dogs raw bones, protien, organs and fish when need be from here. They have a lot of variety and "weird" parts of the animals in the freezer section. Cow and pigs feet, lamb spine, knuckle bones, chicken and duck feet typically are in plenty. Evenly lung and pork stomach, tripe. Etc. Their human grade meat is fresh and I've never had an issue with off smelling meat. Their garlic sausages are to die for!! And their bacon is supreme!!! They are extremely friendly in there and try to work quickly to keep people coming and going. They remembered who I was after only one visit! They asked me how the dogs enjoyed their chicken feet the second time I've ever walked in and was impressed they remembered! I highly suggest this place! They also have a small dry goods shelf of simple things and spices.

Excellent meat! Our go to place for beef tenderloin or Scandinavian Christmas Ribbe (pork belly). You can also get salt cod and a few items like pickled herring, eggs, cheese, some halal meats, milk, frozen fish, gravy and fish/soy sauces. Staff there are very friendly and helpful. They love meat too! ????????????????

Not what I expected. Used to get all my meats there when I lived in Dartmouth. Their bacon was a full pound for 4 bucks and the meats were great.l recently was in town since I moved away and got the 120 dollar freezer order.Bacon was regular schiders, the sausage was not good and the chicken breast was half a breast of bone and not good looking at all
