Great store, easy to find, friendly people, and great price. I had a whole HALAL lamb and it was cut into stake size for $20.00. However, I had to pick it ip next morning because HALAL meat will have to be cut first in the morning when the saw machine is clean.

Awesome place to get a steaks and ground beef for BBQ. A rich and real meat taste every time I've purchased any beef there. If you're wondering why your sobeys steaks don't turn out as well as expected, it's because it's WAY less quality for a little bit less price. Try for yourself

Been going there for years. Great place.my father was going there years before me.it has to have been there 50 years or more.you have to try their white pudding, and breakfast sausage. Every year I go to Newfoundland and bring back to toronto about $60worth of them.

I love Halliday's and everyone who works there. You will always be greeted with a smile and the staff especially at the meat counter will bend over backwards to get you what you want. The meats are pure quality. They make their own white puddings and sausages and they are delicious. Worth a visit for sure. They are a part of the neighbourhood that is loved by all.

Halliday's is great, but I can't for the life of me figure out why their bacon is soooooo bad. Sometimes I forget and buy it and it literally stinks and tastes terrible. Good meat generally, but the absolute worst bacon in St. John's. It's so bad. Avoid it at all costs.
