OJ's Halal Meat provides quality meats at a fair price. The staff is very friendly, they are also very efficient when it comes to orders. The meat is very good. I usually purchase boneless chicken thighs, lamb chops, ground beef and rib eye steak. OJ's never lets me down with their quality and cleanliness. I have been shopping here for years. I highly recommend OJ's for halal meat in Edmonton. As a business owner myself it is very apparent they care about their business and they strive to please all their customers.

Today I went to ojs for the first time and the experience was great from the start. They were friendly and helpful. The service was fast and beyond friendly. I will never buy my family's meat anywhere else again! OUTSTANDING! All round good experience, I left happy and even more happy when supper was served. Super expensive comparing with other halal meat stores in the area. Their packaged meat is usually mixed (old and fresh) , I made that mistake twice already unfortunately but I had no choice. Today I made my second and last mistake and I will never buy from this store again, when I unwrapped the packaged meat that I bought today it was in 2 colors red fresh on top and green brownish in the bottom. Not a recommended place if you care about your health and your money

Good prices. You have to be early or lucky because they run out of the good stuff quick. Their chicken and ground beef are their best priced items. Lamb is available too if you want a tasty treat. For halal meat they beat most big stores in price.

I've been working with Omar and Fayssal for over a year now; and, I can't help but share how wonderful they are! I remember the first time walking in. Fayssal was friendly and welcoming; he asked me what I was looking for, and he took care of my order while getting to know me. He prepared my order neatly and cleanly. Most recently I picked up an entire tenderloin from Omar, which was absolutely fresh and beautifully prepared! In working with Omar, he's always honest with me. He knows what I look for, and only provides what he knows I'll like. Omar and Fayssal always greet me by name, they make me feel like we're longtime friends. Thank you Omar and Fayssal!

Where do I begin... The customer service is 10/10. As soon as you walk in the owner greets you with a heartwarming welcome. For someone that works as hard as he does you’ll never see him with out a smile on his face (you could tell he enjoys what he does) The owners wife makes amazing kobee, if you haven’t tried her kobee you’re missing out! Excellent quality meat, chicken,burgers... and last but not least (the best for last) my favourite is the kafta! I used to get my kafta elsewhere until I tried the kafta at OJs now I don’t go anywhere else. (Ask Omar to make the kafta)
