We drove all the way from Leduc because our butcher was closed on Sunday. We went for a prime rib and ended up leaving with steaks, pork chops, lobster tails, chicken and a meat loaf oh and some spices. They spiced up all our meat with spices we wanted to try. There was a guy and a girl working and they both where incredible!!! Have to say we will be making a drive all the way from Leduc again to buy from here!!

I recently discovered Meathead Inc. Butcher and i have to say, i am VERY particular about my steak, These guys did not disappoint. I purchased 2 ribeyes and the quality was outstanding. The service and the chat i had with who i assume was Teddy was also welcome. You have a customer for life Teddy! Well Done!!

I have not gotten a bad cut if meat here ever. I usually get my beef and lamb from the farm direct; this is great. I feel we get huge value on any cut we have purchased. Just cooked a leg of lamb and it was fantastic. Our company was very impressed. I refer everyone I know.

I haven’t had a T-bone steak for over a decade. It isn’t that I didn’t want or crave a T-bone steak, it is just you go to a grocery store and all they have are these half inch, paper thin steaks for over 20$. It didn’t seem worth the money so out of habit I didn’t even look at the T-bones at meathead’s. I needed a couple of steaks for dinner so I went to the striploin. As I am pointing out which strip I want I glance at the T-bones and have to do a double take. They are not paper thin but look about an inch thick and are massive. I mumble how much is a T-bone going to run me expecting an answer like 30-40$ each. When Teddy said between 15-17$ my heart lept with joy for my stomach which was going to be enjoying T-bone for the first time in a decade. I got two in fact just in case Teddy was dehydrated and had given me the wrong price. I make no bones about the fact I was going to buy those T-bones and get out of the butcher shop before they called the cops on me because relative to what they charge in big grocery those T-Bones were highway robbery. You just don’t see beautiful T-bones like this anymore. Tonight I am going to feel like a king sitting on the Iron Thrown ruler of the 7 kingdoms eating that steak which means tomorrow my cousin will likely stab me in the back and take my spot to enjoy the second T-bone...

They have a great selection of meats at pretty reasonable prices. I picked up a rib eye and was impressed with the melt in your mouth texture. They also have a good selection of packaged meats, like bacon, if you need a last minute weekend breakfast item. I'm excited to have a shop like this in the neighborhood.

Such a great shop and down the street from home! Well run, clean, organized butcher shop and so many fantastic products. I never get photos because I'm so excited to eat! The meat loaves are great; I've had the bacon and the pizza kind. There may be more, but I've only been in once. My partner does the shopping here, lol. Great folks work there, always up for a convo or ideas.

So glad we have a local butcher again carrying excellent cuts of meat and seafood. Tried their in house sirloin burgers tonight and OMG these are fantastic on the grill. Just a little salt n pepper or steak spice and you're good to go! Very lean, and very little size loss, and the taste is what a farm fresh butcher made burger should be!

I picked up a boneless pork shoulder roast last week for pulled pork, cooked it up in my slow cooker and it tasted fantastic! The service was great as well. I had contacted them before I came in, and when I arrived Teddy had a few cuts waiting for me to choose from.

Super fresh and gorgeous cuts. Lots of options for steaks. The place is extremely clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. We tried the sausages and they were damn good. The Aji marinade seems a bit pricey for a bottle but we gave it a try and it's delicious.

I was given a recommendation on a good cut of steak. They are evolving from what I observe and I cant wait to see what new products they bring in on top of their butcher shop. They had a local producer in displaying their wares. They were amazingly clean. The shop was well organized and the staff were well informed. I hope they can stock more local items over time. I would like more food pairing recommendations with their in house made products. I am almost a 5 star review I just want to try everything I bought. I do want to say, this is a place worth visiting.

I was told about MOTLEY QUE. BBQ SAUCE it having won awards for the best BBQ sauce citing that it sells for between 12 and 13 dollars a bottle. I went to MEATHEADS because it was one of the stores that carried it, and there i was charged 21.84 a bottle. I realize that stores have to make a profit, but this is price gouging. I checked the website myself in case i was mistaken about the price I was told, but the website was correct.. I would suggest you buy it from the website for 12.97.

I always get my meat products from the local butcher, the price is comparable to the supermarket but the quality is far superior. The guys here care about the products they sell, and for my family I won’t compromise on quality. Plus these guys are open Sundays which is great for the last minute bbq’s.
