I had one of the most delicious briskets from Harry's. While the prices are higher then a large name grocer the quality is certainly much better. I could not afford to buy meat here alone but it's great for a treat.

The staff are knowledgeable and expectional. I've never had meat this good, I start salivating every time I think about visiting this little gem. First time I tried beef bacon, I highly recommend . The Tomohawk is out of this world. The best stuffed pork chops ever!!

This is a great little butcher shop, especially if you want to try something a little different. They get fresh meats on Thursdays and people often call ahead to get their cuts. We've tried the ribeye steaks and lamb chops, the lamb was especially good!

These guys are fantastic. I put in my order of 3 different beef cuts and a small amount of lamb fat, they ground it all up and packaged it together within 24 hours and at a very reasonable price. This is my new go-to for all things meat.

Very dissapointed. The store's website says the featured beef farm they source from is grass fed/finished and low starch grains are only used as feed in very rare circumstances. However, when I inquired at the store they had NO grass finished beef (other than frozen ground). Also, their webste says they have a lamb supplier. But they had NO lamb in the shop. I bought 1 lb of lean ground beef which cost $10. That's pretty pricey for grain finished. I also bought 2 NY strips which cost just under $50. OUCH! They did have really nice fat marbling (which I would expect because of the grain finishing). I used the ground to make smash burgers on my grill. They came out nice, but I attribute that to the seasoning I put on the meat and the burger toppings. Honestly I could have achieved the same end result with grocery store ground for half the cost. I cooked the NY strips sous vide with a Montreal steak spice to medium rare then finished with a quick, blazing hot sear on the grill. I found the meat flavour to be rather bland. Since these were grain finished, I could have achieved the same end result with a prime cut out of the butcher's case at the grocery store for 10% to 20% less. I don't mind paying a higher prices if the quality is there to set it apart, but that is not the case here. My search for a butcher who carries true fresh, not frozen, grass finished beef continues.

Fantastic store and products Far superior to the grocery store Own a ranch in BC and meat is on par with what my family ranch produces Had to laugh at a dumb review from someone about the store not being open. It’s called a telephone. If you are driving a long distance call ahead to check if a store is open especially during COVID which makes thing unpredictable. Clearly common sense not that common. Love Harry’s Natural Meats!!!!!

Nice selection of beef and bison, smaller pieces like a $15 bison ribeye to try out. Staff is friendly. There is available in-house dry aging available which I would like to try at a later date. Update: sous vide and then pan seared the bison steak and it was incredible! Definitely will buy from them again. Got an 120 day aged steak from them too as another customer couldn't afford his entire order. Very fun to try!

Absolutely fabulous store, best advice and service from Alex and truly the best meat ever!! My husband came home with a bit of everything and the two huge tomahawk steaks were excellent as was everything else!! Alex even vacuum sealed them. Highly recommend and we will only go to Harrys Natural meats for all of our meats. Never seen my husband so happy while cooking everything on the bbq. Amazing Butchery i've been to in Calgary! I live in the NW and come here all the time for the meat and amazing customer service. Love this place so much! If you do plan on going try to avoid when they are letting out the pre school, wont really be able to find parking and have to park a bit aways and walk. but other then that best butchery shop

Bought my first package of meats this past week. It’s a tad more expensive at first than a grocery store BUT I think a better overall value. 1. The quality of meat is apparent. It feels better and tastes better than the less expensive meat at pick your grocery store name; 2. The actual cut is much better. If you pay x at grocery the cut at Harry’s is such that there is no wasted gristle or fat. My dogs won’t be happy with no scraps but it sure adds to value when not tossing away half the “meat” Our chicken and steak was great. I would recommend this location to anyone who likes to taste good food. Oh, and the service is spot on and if there was ever a time to support local this is it.

I've driven to Mahogany twice now purchase their sausages - both the Honey Ginger Apple Sage and Italian are fantastic! I still need to try the other 2 flavors. I also love their burgers and their ground beef. I've made burgers from their ground beef and have BBQ'd their homemade burgers - both are wonderful - great flavor and great quality. I'll be shopping here again and again and am excited to try more of their meat. The staff are very friendly and helpful both in the store and on the phone. Keep up the great work!

Feels really great to support local, especially at this shop. The owners are a young couple, and the husband is the butcher and operator of the shop. Julian(Julien?) is the manager, and has an endless bank of suggestions for cooking methods and recipes. The shop is well decorated so that you don’t feel like you’re in the typical butcher store - this is a bonus because I can send my higher end clients in to shop here. The quality of the products is outstanding, the sausages made in-store and are the best I have tried in Calgary. The steaks are fantastic, and they suggest the best cut for your recipe, instead of what costs the most money. The roast I ordered at the counter was trimmed beautifully and ready within five minutes of ordering. I also picked up a “box” that I ordered in advance, and the value and quality is superb.
