Took our brothers young heffer in, did not get what we brought in. The meat we got was from an old cow and it was tough, chewy and very dry, un-edible. Terrible. We are not the only people that have had this issue! Don't bring in your good quality beef to be butchered, it will be swapped with an old cow. Then our heffer was probably sold to a client or at their store for top dollar. Turns out friends of ours had the same issue. One thing is for sure, I am not going to be telling friends to go to H&M. H&M is not receiving our business anymore.

I took in some deer meat a couple weeks ago to be mixed with pork trim and ground into burger. I was told it would take and hour or so. Two weeks later and 2 phone calls where I was told someone would get back to me later and no one got back to me and I have no burger.

Very disappointed in them. Took my moose in there to get cut up and it took them 2 1/2 weeks to call me back and let me know my meat was cut up. Also I did not get my meat back cause I took in a dry cow and my meat should have been soft and fat and I got back tough tough meat with no fat at all. So someone got my cow and I got someone’s bull. Will not ever be using them again. Very disappointed!

Best beef jerky at H&M'S!! I have recently tried the well-liked Wilhauk's from Spruce Grove/Leduc, AB., and I find it a bit saltier, thinner and drier, it's still good but not as good as H&M's!

Had pig cut up there. Very good but forgot to put ribs in order. Did return 4 months later and picked them up hassle free. Would recommend to others.

Took in a young elk that was neck shot and dropped at the shot. We skinned the elk and delivered it completely hair and dirt free. What we got back had hair, gut taint and dirt in the meat. Tough as all get out. What we got back was not the meat we delivered. Terrible job and will NEVER use them again. Going back to Wapiti even though it is a bit of a drive.

I've always enjoyed their quality of work. However, this morning I had to call in to place the cut order for the first time (total newbie here) and I was horrified with the terrible customer service I received! This alone has me considering other options for next time, even if that means paying a bit more and traveling a bit farther. H&M, your customer service needs some serious improvement!

Great prices for everything from deli meats to prime rib. Meat is always top notch. They have decent sales every week. Deli meats are about .90 cents per hundred grams. Friendly staff.
