My husband is IN LOVE!!! He has been living in Canada for nearly a decade and has often lamented the fact that he can’t find bacon and sausages that remind him of home. His friend told him about this spot that opened just a few weeks ago and he made a plan to get there this weekend. He came home yesterday from his first visit to the British Banger Company with English-style bacon, black pudding, and Lincolnshire and Cumberland sausages- he also got a sausage roll for his drive back and was delighted with everything! We made a full English breakfast this morning and it was all excellent, plus he was very happy and has already made plans to return. Since this place is so new we wanted to make sure we got a review in so others can test it out- it is worth the trip to Okotoks!!!

The shop is clean and very well laid out. Lots of British goodies lots of fresh meats and sausages on display. New to the shop Pork pies both large and small. All in all very impressive. The staff very pleasant.

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you! That pork pie was more than worth the drive ❤️first one I’ve had since bury market 3 years ago and honestly took me right back while I inhaled it ???? Your shop is so much more than a place to buy goodies it’s a quick trip home and I appreciate it immensely! Always friendly personable service, can call ahead and reserve something and so many sweets to choose from! My most favourite shop to treat myself at ???????? The British Banger Company is one of the best butchers around. They have traditional British Bangers in many different flavors. They also have some of the best locally raised pork, lamb and beef. They also have all kinds of fresh made meat pies and scotch eggs. You find a wife selection of British treats like Vimto, Lucozade, chocolates, candies and all kinds of your favourite British delicacies. Such a wonderful couple who own and run the shop as well. Best Bacon and Black Pudding East of the Rocky Mountains....... As a British guy I've tried the rest and finally I've had the best, as these guys are the real deal. I've only tried their Lincolnshire Sausage, Bacon, Black Pudding, Sausage Rolls and Scotch Eggs, but so far, everything has been awesome. I'm a good drive away, but I'm delighted to have found them and I'm looking forward to sampling the rest of their goods in the near future.

Wish they would handle their Meats and other food products wearing gloves . It was a bit disgusting seeing one of the gentlemen behind the counter ( butcher) scratch his hair then go on to rearrange the sausages right by the front fridge . Come on , if you gonna do this then at least don't let us customers see it ! Updated: It's not hiding behind social media. FYI this is the platform "reviews " for customers to express their satisfaction or dissatisfaction .It seems the owners don't take criticism very well and always quick to slag off anything that doesn't promote their business Further Update: Seems the owner is quite lippy and keeps expanding on his comments below . Look here mate , the issue here is your food hygiene ! and not my alias . Just wear gloves as simple as that and stop touching your body parts while handling food you are selling . 3rd Update: This is why I wouldn't revisit your shop tas you suggested earlier . It would clearly be to be verbally abused by yourself .You simply don't want to wear gloves and be clean with your food handling . .Calling you mate is just addressing you , perhaps you prefer being called " Lord Whatever " . All I can now say is that you are dirty both physically and verbally .Please just wear gloves and stop touching your dirty body parts . 4th Update : Thank you , I will certainly have a great day knowing that your hygiene practices may improve from now on , for the benefit of your customers . 5th Update: What we have here is a cocky arrogant business owner . Growing up in the uk cumberland sausages where always in a coil shape,when my wife said she had got hold of some cumberland sausage i was excited and eager to get home to try them.when i opened them up i was over come with dissapointment as these were short stubby things.They tasted ok i would eat them again but i would not go out of my way to go and buy them

Great prices on both their fresh and dried foods selection. Despite not being regular customers due to not living in the area, Tracy, Tim and the team always refer to us by name and give a very friendly, personal experience. We would highly recommend them to one and all, well worth a visit even if you don't live locally. PS. Can't wait to try the new pork pies when you bring them out!!
