Heard of this place from a friend at work decided to go and spend some money, showed up 12 minutes before close, they told me the meat slicer was cleaned up only 3 mins ago (15mins to close) and was done slicing for the evening, there was no empathy or compassion from the two teenagers working with not a wisper in the store, the fact that I battled crazy Glenmore Trail construction traffic to get there & then two teenagers shot family & me down is unforgettable, disappointment more than anything, I hear the German Sausage shop in Dover is worth looking for as well, better luck there I guess

My friend and I visited alpine sausage after a bowling session. We were greeted with friendliness and fantastic service. The prepared sausage were delectable, although I would personally not recommend the rockwurst as it was far to sweet for me. Both the medium and hot pepperoni sticks were fantastic. Great local deli, all the meats your tummy desires, home made sausage, burger pattys ( love the 5 pepper ) , fresh cut meats, frozen items and great steaks!! Also very helpful with any special meat deli needs you may have.

A must destination for smoked anything

Few days ago picked up a pack of wine chorizo and found out it looked and tasted as plain chorizo. Called them about it and went back to the store told them that's not wine chorizo! You guys totally ignored my claim as if I'm crazy and said "We been making it like this forever". Oh wow... when customer is telling you there a problem with your food either mislabeled or some else liked you changed your recipe, basically you told me to F#@K-OFF for a dozen sausages that cost $27! It's not even about the money, it's the principal, how I got treated and how the situation was resolved it's unbelievable, so disappointed and will not be going back!

Wow, my new favourite! We stopped in a few days ago and got the whole orientation spiel on what's what in the shop, cooking tips, and some insider knowledge from Calgary's food industry. We brought home some house cured bacon and beef/bacon burgers. Those burgers are going to be our go-to going forward. They grilled beautifully from frozen. The owners' passion for good food makes it a very easy choice to support this local business. It's also very cool that they're in a group of locally owned businesses (Best of Calgary Foods) who supply Calgary residents with groceries and other treats all through one website! We'll definitely be using their delivery service.

Wow .... delightful Dutch and Danish sweets, great cheeses and amazing meats that they prepare themselves. The smoked pork chops, when available, are DIVINE. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful also. Highly recommended.

We call Alpine Sausage the 'Danish Deli' because of all of the Nordic food that is available. We love their Danish salami (pronounced spy-a-pulse), their fresh meat, smoked chickens, Danish pastry and their great candy selection. You can place special orders as well.

I always loved this place since i moved to the area. I have always had excellent friendly service until today. I was disappointed in the service i received from a young blonde. She doesn't have a friendly attitude at all. I find her a liitle arrogant actually. Otherwise i would give a 5 star.

I heard about Alpine Sausage from a friend after being served a ground chicken satay burger. It was so tasty I had to go. I went to get the burgers and came out with much more and tips on how to cook them. The chicken burgers don't have binders in them which makes them trickier to cook but is it ever worth it. The big find was the Mancave steak I picked up for Father's day. It's a once a year offering and is an amazing steak that needs to be cooked a certain way. I recommend going in and asking some questions.

I am so pleased with the gluten free sausage. Hungarian, hot Italian, and chicken chorizo are my favorites. The service is excellent, and the opportunity to special order new types of sausage is truly unique. My friends have special ordered low salt sausage and loved it. It is great to know there are no fillers or preservatives and to buy local.

Great meats! Usually they have specials like Hutterite chicken, steak sales, or unique cuts. Sausages are amazing and they have European-style dried pepperoni sticks. Also their house made to go meals are a convenient dinner after work.
