HIGHLY RECOMMENDED I would not hesitate to give them 10 stars out of 5 if i could, to start with. I am fussy when it comes to grocery shopping, i can say i had the best experience every time, flawless quality and care. They treat you like their own family. They have an amazing HALAL meat selection and a knowledgeable, friendly staff who always greet you with a smile. it’s the only grocery store in the area that you can ask for any meat preparation and they would do it straight away for you. That’s enough reason not to go over another store . the selection is always filled with beautifully fresh fruits and vegetables.they sell a wide variety of organic products which are all locally sourced. The cleanest store i’ve ever been to. It seems like they wash the place every day. At least this is my feeling. At the end, No other store sell similar quality products at notably lower prices.

Very good butcher. Friendly staff. They always have fresh stock of what I'm looking for. They will cut what I need and will usually have it ready in five minutes. The quality is consistent, which is not always the case with small shops. Make sure to pick up some of their pepperoni sticks on the way out.

It’s unfortunate that I have to give 2 stars to Al Madina Halal Meat. If it wasn’t for my last experience than you would have gotten a five star. We have been religiously only coming to you guys for years! But from the past 6 months the service has gone down. Every time we call ahead and order and give you guys our specifications on the order whoever is on the phone writes it down and tells us that it’ll be ready in 30mins or 1hr. When we arrive to the store the order is not ready or the order was given to someone else. I’m fine with that but this has happened more than twice now. The issue here is the owner I think has the audacity to tell me that they can make the order in 5 mins but the issue is about the specification of the meat. As a daughter whose father owned and ran a butchery for all his life I know what it means when a customer wants a specific cut and specific way, do not come at me and tell me that’s my issue. If your workers cannot communicate on the phone and tell me when the right type of meat will arrive in the store that’s NOT MY FAULT. I felt discriminated when I walked out and I will never ever recommend anyone to you guys. Mind you I had my family come from Calgary to come and buy your meat, but after how you made me feel and faulting me by asking you how I want my meat, that’s just wrong.

I was a regular customer. There was lamb steak at the rate of $20.99 in the selves and I tried to buy half lamb (8.5kg) and it cost me approx $20 per kg. I thought steak and whole lamb’s meat are not comparable. I changed my mind to make small pieces from steak instead of half whole lamb. Then I requested to make small pieces, butcher refused and the way he treated was really unprofessional. After 35 minutes drive, I didnot buy lamb there. I felt really bad on this place. I went in another place near by and bought at the rate of $17 per kg. I felt I was paying more for the same many times here. Don’t recommend.

I seriously wasted my money on the beef rib eye steaks. The meat was stringy and soggy after grilling them. Overpriced burger patties, 2 for $9.99, and there was more fat than meat. Patties were Rubbery and chewy. Not family friendly. Rude customer service. Would not recommend these guys.

The halal meat is always amazing and the store is always spotless and clean! If I could leave a second 5 star review, I would. Best chicken shawarma I’ve ever had and best steaks I've ever had. I BBQ'ed them on a charcol grill and they were amazing! Shopping there is great and the staff is very friendly plus their halal meat selection is amazing, fresh and priced very well. The store was very clean and the butchers were able to fulfill a custom request. No matter what you are looking for, Al Madina has everything you may need!
