One of my favourite local businesses to support! Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Mouth watering products available in the shop, and excellent cuts of meat available upon request. Even has half or full bones for the pups to enjoy! If you haven’t checked this place out yet, you’re missing out!

This place has earned its current 5-star rating. Best butcher I have been to. The staff was able to help me pick out a steak I wanted and they even cut it for you right there so you can get the thickness you want. I have gotten the striploin a couple times and the steak was not chewy at all and had so much flavor. I drive from red deer to come pickup steaks and would highly recommend. Prices are reasonable too for what you get.

Absolutely top shelf products and service! Ever since our first visit/purchase we have returned often. The quality of the meat and the cuts are amazing. Do you want a 2" thick rib steak? They will cut it for you! Brisket? Heck ya, don't have a smoker? They smoke briskets and you can buy them! So many amazing different products (hello pepperoni 's, ect) made fresh on site. Last but not least, the service. Pam, Robert and their staff are fantastic. Always smiling and willing to help you pick out the perfect protein for your carnivore delight. We have recommended their shop to so many people and will continue to do so.

Want a half cow naturally raised that is basically organic without the title which would raise the cost of the beef. I went with a package deal as I did not have room in my freezer for a half cow yet, which is stakes, ribs, ground beef, and stew meat. They also sell naturally raised chickens and seafood.

Out of a bull moose, I walked away with: - 12x 1 lbs bags of grnd meat - 3 pieces of tenderloin - 4 pieces of back strap - 8x1lbs pieces of stew meat - 4 pieces of rib meat -30 lbs of inedible pepperoni -30 lbs of inedible smokies - 15 pieces of great salami. They made an entire bull moose fit in two totes and half is inedible. For 1100$, I will never go there again. Total armature hour. They pool their meat and can’t get the recopies right. Just awful .

This one is hard I would give it a 3.5 if available. The steak and the smokies are probably some of the best I have ever had the customer service was fantastic. How ever I bought the breakfast sausage both beef and pork and the bacon. Did not enjoy at all was disappointed with flavor and texture. Will go back but stick to what was good

Never have I met such nicer people! My dad, husband, and I were greeted with big smiles and because it was our first time stepping in everything was explained and all that was available was listed! Everyone let us take our time looking through and deciding. We were introduced to all the staff that were up front! I have never been treated so kindly or so well in a store before. Also the place smells absolutely amazing! The meat was sooo good! We will be loyal customers from here on out!!

Mobile butcher came out to our farm and skinned our 1342 lbs live weight heifer, the young fellow was fast and did a good job. Rail weight was 673 lbs, carcass was supposed to hang for 2 weeks then cut and wrap. After 3 weeks the meat was not ready for pick up yet but the lady in the front said it would be anytime. Week 4 phoned again and then she said they had not even started cutting it up yet. Total disconnect between staff at the store front and people working in the back. Week 5 they phoned that the meat was ready for pick up, other than smokies and jerky, we picked that up week 6. All set and done we got 370 lbs of meat back which included pork added for breakfast sausages etc. We informed the butcher and then he admitted that mistakes were made and he did not know exactly where some of our meat went. He promised he would make it up and gave us another 130 lbs of meat a week later. I gave a 2 star review because the mobile butcher did a good job the rest of the experience was terrible. Not getting all your own meat back when getting an animal slaughtered is not acceptable. Them making mistakes and not informing us is poor management and not something you would expect from a local butcher shop.

Really good to deal with. I can't stand breakfast sausage as a general. The breakfast sausage I received in our order is delicious! Best I have ever had. The butchering was so kind and humane to witness. The skill knowledge and entirety of the whole process stands out.

This is overdue from Thanksgiving, but better late than never. We decided to do steak for Thanksgiving this year (2020) instead of a Turkey and so glad we did. I went to 6th on the Block and we could not be happier. The steak was a huge hit!!!. They recommended a cut of steak for young and old alike and guaranteed it would be tender and they did not lie, we could cut it with a fork and everyone was just amazed. It was a special treat for my father-in-law (who has 4th stage cancer) and he was able to eat his whole piece and never got sick, that meant so much and he cannot stop talking about it and hopes to one day come there. They cut it right there for me and vacuum sealed it. Thank you so very much for your help and service and we will be back very soon and will never by steak from a grocery store again.
