Absolutely floored by the HORRIBLE customer service I received last night from a man whom I believe was the owner. I came here with ten friends for my going away party and the gentleman at the desk could not have been ANY RUDER if he tried. We arrived at 11pm and he informed us he was closing at midnight "because it's a holiday and I feel like it" - even though it was the day after Thanksgiving and online hours said they were open until 2am. That was off-putting enough but we agreed we would just play one game since we were already there. Then he continued to make rude remarks to every single one of us as we paid individually. This man was the definition of Scrooge and should not work in customer service if that is how he treats respectful and friendly paying customers. I was trying to have fun with my friends on my last night in Michigan and he literally ruined our evening. I felt compelled to write this review because I've been to this alley numerous times growing up in AP and have never had an issue until yesterday. Seriously appalled by the disrespectful attitude we were given for no reason at all. If you don't want your enjoyable evening to be compromised I suggest you bowl elsewhere. What a shame.

We had two players and when we were buying games we said we wanted to play 2 or 3 games. Got charged for “2 games each” she said.. which showed up on the display as 4 games.. but we only got to play 2 games. $20 for two short bowling games was a waste of money.

Well designed with a colorful scheme. Clean floors and tables. The lanes are well lit and done in a bright yellow wood. The kids and adults both enjoyed themselves. Pizza, beer and soda are among the food choices. Oh, there is a game room also.

I have only had wonderful experiences at Roosevelt lanes. I have bowled in a league there, been to birthday parties and open bowled. The have also host a bowling fundraiser I have every year for HCM "Bowl for the Beat". This is our 8th year for the fundraiser and it is always a success. I can't say enough good things about Roosevelt Lanes!

Decent place to bowl. It's on the smaller side with 20 lanes, but the employees were nice. It was hard to find bowling balls that fit our group's finger sizes and ideal ball weights, likely because of the smaller size of the establishment.

Fun place, smaller side for a bowling alley but it's a blast! They've got a nice bar and billiard tables. They also have a mini arcade! The grill makes pretty good food too. Bring your friends or kids here and have a good time!

This us the second season I have bowled at this house and it's not bad. Although they could keep the lanes oiled during league play and make sure the ac is on when the real feel temp outside is 90+! On a serious note the staff is great, the lanes are good, and the owner is an ok guy. If you wanna learn how to bowl like the old timers this is the place for you because they still have wooden lanes.

Have been coming for over 20 years and always had no problem. We just had our daughters Birthday party there before Christmas and that was wonderful. Unfortunately we most likely will not be returning due to the unfortunate disrespectful attitude from the woman at the desk. She was rude, very unfriendly and made us feel like we were a bother to her. I did not even want to go exchange my shoes for another size and hear another huff and puff from her. We are a family of 4 with 2 young children who were perfectly behaved. No reason we should have been treated this way. We brought in our own ball and borrowed one from a rack near by. She asked me to put all the balls back and there were a dozen. I'm not an employee. We gladly put away our shoes and ball we did use. Very bummed out! We drive out of our way just to go here. No more..

Horrible customer service by the man working the desk. I didnt get his name because he didnt have a name badge. Nothing but rude to us all night when we went to the bar he made us move and pay for bowling first and when we tried to get drinks he couldnt make even a simple drink. Then he tried to help other customers while we were at the bar. Wanted to give this place a shot since its right by my house but I will not be back again for the terrible customer service alone.

We had fun . Its a $10 minimum for any card transaction remember that bar food and shoes and games .I was able to leave my card open to meet the requirements I bought food and drinks I didn't want. Other than that we had a great time.

Had my son's 7th birthday here. It was great, staff was excellent. Kids loved the pizza. We had our party just after the sun. morning leagues ended and I was nervous it would hectic and the alley staff would already be flustered, but everything was great. Inviting enviroment with good food, music, and family.

Good place to go and pick up a quick game. See Only complaint I have is the staff, whom was very unhelpful and seemed very disinterested in making our experience enjoyable. 3 people on staff and not one could serve food to anyone in my party. Two literally sat around the entire time we were in the building, could not serve any food because " they couldn't be over here, and over there at the same time". Idk if it's because we were black, but for whatever reason once more people whom were white came in service was provided. Nice and clean place, just come during busier times and you may receive service

This is a great place to go with your family. The owner was friendly and he set up our lane so that the bumpers would automatically rise up each time it was my 3-year-old son's turn to bowl. We had a great time and can't wait to go back soon.

My daughter had her 8th birthday party here. I was seriously impressed. It is very clean and well kept! The staff was very attentive. I had to tack on, last minute, extra pizzas and pop because I had more show up than expected. The staff made it happen quickly, didn't miss a beat! They were very nice. Happy to help us. The kids and adults had a blast! I would highly recommend. I even got compliments from other parents. Thank you Roosevelt lanes and the wonderful women and young man that took excellent care of us! It is a great memory and we'll be back!!!

We held a fundraiser here and it was a huge success! This was not only because we had an awesome turnout, but because Roosevelt Lanes had everything ready for us when we arrived. They were well organized and prepared for us allowing for the whole evening to run so smoothly! The staff were so accommodating and friendly. We really couldn't have asked for better service! The pizza was delicious as well. :) A huge thank you to Roosevelt Lanes and their staff for helping us have such a successful event! Highly recommend!!

We drove me and my friends for 30 minutes then we got their before they close in an hour and a half and then the old lady up front tells us that they’re closing soon because their is no one in their but us and their was literally more than 20 in their, she was clearly lying

The place has a manager who yells at his employees and belittles them in front of customers. His prices change when he decides to change them and he is losing alot of his league's due to his personality.
