Amazing staff and service! quality of food is always spectacular! I will always eat here !
Service was great. Beautiful patio. Will definitely be back.
Worst delivery service from this restaurant, takes alot of time.
Best Ramen Ever ????
Service
Really good gyozas
Excellent service. Great tasting fresh food. Great variety. Try the cheesecake for dessert!
I visited Zubu at Park Royal for lunch yesterday. Upon entry I noticed how clean and appealing the restaurant was. Was greeted by a friendly young woman who after asking us to fill the contact information as is the norm these days sat us in a booth. Perhaps the firmness of the seats can be the only less than perfect aspect of my visit. I usually go into the City for ramen so you can imagine my delight with the quality I received at Zubu. Great flavour, wonderful texture and adequate portion. Top drawer experience. Efficient service and reasonable prices. Loved it. Will definitely go back and strongly recommend it also. Happy hour curry fries with truffle ketchup was excellent too. Very satisfied customer. Keep it up.
The server Jessica and Joon were patient, excellent and understanding. Food was great and had many great options. Overall the servers made the experience 1000 times better and i would definitely come by again. W.e the pay, Jess and others need a raise.
Ramen is good, though you can find better pricing and better portions elsewhere in such a competitive ramen market like Vancouver. Servers are all friendly but can be slow and inattentive at times.
5/5 great covid protocols and servers and amazing food!
Pretty tasty ramen but I expected more portion for the price, but can't complain because of the high quality. The service was friendly and attentive. I will come back!
Pretty mediocre. 40 minute wait for food, taste was so so, portion was alright. $15 for cold ramen. Nothing to call home about. Went for second dinner at Osaka supermarket after. Would not return.

Delicious. Always looking for good ramen on this side of the bridge...I had the vegan dish which surprised me too. It was actually fantastic! If they could hit that out of the park I imagine most dishes they serve are terrific.
Tasty ramen and wonderful service.

Best Ramen in town.
Not sure if we'll be back. Food was okay, not on par with the top tier ramen in town. Was a bit pricey for what it is. Service was slow considering how many people seemed to be working relative to how quiet it was. Servers and hostess/manager were all very friendly. The space is open and bright and comfortable, was very clean. COVID protocols seemed to be followed. We found a bit of plastic packaging in our ramen, which was a bit disturbing. Showed it to the manager and she was very apologetic.
Rich broth, fast and hearty. Well managed.
Great service, great food .
Paid to take a taxi here all the way from the west end of Vancouver, got seated, waited 35 mins and got absolutely no service - not even my drink order taken. Every table after us got their drinks and apps. I brought this to the servers attention and left. Pretty disappointing and will not return.
Delicious food
Very tasty and creative good food. Really fresh ingredients. I highly recommend getting the house salad and chicken chashu add ons. We shared them as an appetizer. The noodles are nice and chewy, the pork and broth has really intense flavors. Highly recommend.
What a great addition to Metro Vancouver ramen! Everything we tried was delicious and clean. You can tell the ingredients used are of a high quality. We ordered the brussel sprout tempura which is my personal favorite. It's lightly battered with a hint of truffle - not overpowering like some restaurants do. I could've had 2 or 3 orders to myself. We also ordered the jalapeno cheese mazesoba, which was unexpected, delicious, and carries some heat along with the spicy tuna roll. Finally, the spicy chicken ramen. The service could be better with attention to detail. But would still come back again just for those brussel sprouts!
Super excited about this new favorite Ramen spot!! It's got a fun casual/hip vibe, GREAT mazesoba (bright, bold flavors and chewy noodles), and creative cocktails. Extensive menu- can't wait to come back and try more options. Staff is friendly, vibe is great :)
Delicious!
Delivery
Great lunch spot. I am there a couple times a week. Highly recommended!
I really wanted to like this place, another local ramen place in West Vancouver would've been nice but sadly I was disappointed. There were more servers (not including kitchen staff/the manager) in there than customers at the time, and the one that was serving us was still insanely slow with the service and didn't seem to care. I'm not asking for someone insanely passionate or someone that goes above and beyond, but something above pure apathy. An ounce effort on behalf of the server would've been appreciated, the service was below par to say the least. The server took 7 minutes to make us a tequila cocktail and a sprite, the servers are also the bartenders and it shows they have little to no cocktail experience, it took him forever to get our orders in and he failed to do the many things he said he would; never brought a happy hour menu after saying he would, didn't quality check the table once, rang in kaedama for later (it even showed he rang it in properly on the receipt) but brought it all at the same time in the bowl (if you know anything about ramen you know this ruins the integrity of the noodles) needless to say the service is the most lacking part of this business in my opinion. Proportions were small, but that is expected in West Van, same with the high price tag. The ramen is lacking all additional fun toppings, even teh simple addition of an egg will cost you to add it, this is the fault of the menu as it encourages upselling by stripping their menu of many basic toppings on the dishes. The pork in the ramen was honestly bad relative to other places in Vancouver, they were small and lacked flavor. The noodles and broth were decent but it was an extremely expensive dish for what you got. There are countless other better ramen places even on the North Shore (not even considering downtown). I'd definitely recommend other ramen places, not an awful experience, but overall very unimpressed would be an apt way to describe my visit. Would not return or recommend to others.
Is this my fave ramen place in town? No, but this is a GREAT addition to the North Shore. We’ve dined in once and delivery once. Both times satisfied. The delivery was actually particularly impressive as they have a Zubu at Home menu. We got the option for 2 people and it fed our family of 4 with leftovers. And all the food was special in some way, it came with two handrolls, which were specially separated between seaweed and filling so the seaweed doesn’t get soggy. There’s a thin sort of Japanese fries and the ketchup was “truffle” ketchup, yummy. Our kids love it and we do too.
takes too long to even take our order and when our order arrives, all of them are either mistaken for other customer’s or items we didnt order. the ramen was just mediocre, didn’t get you full either. Appetizer also comes way too late after the main course. What a disappointing experience.
A bit underwhelming to be honest. The food simply wasn’t worth the price mainly due to portion size and add-ons. We ordered regular-sized ramen and everything except fresh garlic was extra - they are really charging $2 to sprinkle some chopped green onion. Then the actual meat was literally 2 bite-size slices of chicken. Everything arrived lukewarm and they also forgot some of the extras we paid for. The taste was okay but for what you get is overpriced and not worth the trip especially in a city like Vancouver with such great ramen.

Very outstanding place and it's just right across from White Spot (where I worked), and I ordered the chicken karage for the 2nd time- so good and delicious!!! Nice and Juicy, but not too dry. This ramen restaurant is a must!!!! Gee, I wonder if this the first ramen restaurant in West Vancouver...
Average tasting ramen Service is ok
Nice staff great food.
The place is so clean and the people who attended super nice and warm, I loved the veggie spicy creamy ramen, very tasty. Highly recommended
We absolutely love ramen and have tried so many places, and for a standard Tonkotsu Ramen, this one might be up there on the leader board. The menu is quite extensive so that’s great if you like choices but I also find that can determine how good their food is overall (I find the larger the menu, the less executed the dishes are) in general. We tried the Ebi Mayo and spicy wontons for appetizers and the Ebi Mayo was absolutely delicious! The sauce was light but flavourful and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. The wontons were alright, probably wouldn’t get them again and would be open to trying something else. I had the Tonkotsu and it was very well presented, nice and hot, broth was good but definitely felt like I would be thirsty after 10 min of eating it. (Hard with Ramen, but I’ve definitely tried places where they’ve mastered the “no-thirsty feeling” after eating it). I would say overall their ramen was a good contender if you’re comparing it to the general Ramen restaurants. I also added a side of bamboo and that was very good (tasted real and fresh) sometimes they taste like they’re out of a can or were rehydrated. We would come back here and try a few other things on the menu! Oh yes, and the ambiance is very nice! Decor is nice, lots of wood finishings, a cute neon sign, very trendy. (Good for Instagram pics if you’re looking for that)
Best ramen place in West van and North shore, the food is amazing, the food quality is high, staff are very friendly, environment is clean, nice and cozy, a great place to eat ramen or chashu with friends and family.

(Translated) It's very delicious, especially to eat over the sea! Thick beef soup, other side dishes are also very delicious, recommend the 5th spicy chicken ramen????! (Original) 非常好吃,专门过海来吃!厚重的牛肉汤,其它小菜也很美味,推荐5级辣的鸡肉拉面????!
Really delicious gyoza and ramen. A bit on the pricier side but the service was fabulous. The interior is modern and clean.
Tasty food. A little bit pricy and slow/busy but otherwise was great.
GG
Wow the vegan ramen is amazing we asked to add mushrooms in the ramen and it was perfect, probably the best vegan ramen I had in BC. We also ordered vegetarian gyoza, it was ok i would put some cilantro in there, the green leaves taste was a bit missing. The service was great and welcoming.
The environment of this place was super clean and nice. The food was ok, it was not the best ramen that I had in Vancouver, but it is good. The servers were also nice but when we asked for cutlery, we had to ask that for couple of times.
Dinner
Very good, I went to the Park Royal location, to be honest I was sceptical because it was so fusion and no oriental cook behind the bar and server. The ramen texture was perfect, Char Siu were good size and thick, I finished all the soup. ???? better than many Ramen place in Richmond. I’ll be back!
Best ramen on the North Shore, hands down. I love that they have an “essential” ramen selection for under $10, which doesn’t have a lot of toppings but still captures the fun and essence of authentic ramen. Their main menu has more volume with a variety of tasty flavours and topping combinations but are a bit pricier at over $15 per bowl. For those who have tried Jinya Ramen downtown, they are very similar.
Ok not the best Raman in the world. 6/10
Service is a bit slow. Drinks are not good. Ramen is questionable.
The best ramen noodles place in North Shore.
Excellent food and cocktails. Really nice crispy chicken!
I came to pick my order waited 10 mins inside the restaurant . One of the staff came and asked me to leave as i was waiting inside the restaurant and later she asked me to wait outside and after 20 mins i git my order . The food was cold and missed my order of appetizer. I was always ordered food online via uber from them and today I finally decided to pick up by my self . It shattered my expectations Food is 5 star but . Service is not even 1 star
Just had an awkward dining experience. First, food was excellent. Ramen was on point. Thank you. Unfortunately, can't say the same for the service. We came in with a party of 8 (1 baby). The first half of the party showed up and we were seated at one of the large tables in the middle of the restaurant. There were no other 4 seat tables, no booths available. When the second half of our party came, they were seated "next" to us, but with the plastic COVID divider in between us. Our server finished taking our order. When she came back, she notified me of the automatic gratuity of 15% on partiers 6 or larger. I told her then, we were "not" a party of 8, and that we would eat separately (since the COVID divider was in the way anyway). She half obliged and then came back shortly after with the manager or "person in charge" who I then had to have the same discussion about the automatic gratuity. I told her that our party did not come at the same time, nor were the orders taken at the same time. Furthermore, there was a divider in place so essentially, the restaurant has forced us to be divided anyway. Here is where I'm conflicted. 1) If we were truly a party of 8, then why not take down the COVID divider? 2) If there was another party of 4 that just happened to be seated beside my party of 3, would they then charge the entire table the automatic gratuity? 3) Is it not customary to tip 15% anyway, regardless? 4) Regardless of the customary tip, this for sure in my opinion, NOT how to get it. I was going to tip anyway, but because you've now involved the manager, I'm more inclined to NOT tip, or reduce my tip amount because you're being petty. 5) Looking around the restaurant, nobody was ordering more than just the ramen. My party of 3 ordered 2 combos AND a drink. Judging by what we've ordered compared to others, I would be tipping more anyway simply because of our higher meal amount. Should there not be some discretion of when to apply this "automatic gratuity"? I know we're still in the middle of the pandemic but ordering "extra food" as well as having the intention to generously tip was my way of supporting the restaurant business as well as the staff. I hate nickel and diming, but this experience "forced" me to do so. If this is how ZUBU at Park Royal is running their business, then I'll be glad to take my business elsewhere.
A new gem on Park Royal. Unique menu items, delicious food and friendly service. Recommended
The most boring ramen in Vancouver, unfriendly staff and undercooked chicken on top. Asked waiter for the sauce for chicken twice and never got one. ????????
The tonkotsu was pretty good and the place was nice.
This was my first time trying ramen at ZUBU Park Royal. I know they have other locations, too. They had a limited time (until Dec 31) Holiday special menu with Bone Marrow ramen. It was SO good! The broth was deliciously flavourful and the noodles were cooked to the perfect texture ????
Covid protocols were great, I felt safe the whole time. Staff were awesome. Food was delicious and perfect portion.
Try the DIY hand rolls! Everything is good here... but the hand rolls are fun and well portioned.
Fair price for the portion size fantastic broth and noodles and meat very well cooked every time I go I get the Tonkotsu Aka Burning Hot
Very friendly service and nice ambiance. The truffle ramen and pork rice bowl were both absolutely delicious, best meals we have had in a while.
One of the best places to get tonkotsu ramen on the North shore.
Dine in
Food was decent but server was wearing a tiny little plastic shield that did absolutely nothing for COVID protection and was all over the restaurant. Made the whole experience quite uncomfortable. I have no idea why management allowed it but I won’t go back.
First time visiting. Probably won't return. Service was painfully slow. Food was average.
Careful on bill scamming
I enjoyed the ramen I got from here. It was simple and good. Nothing too fancy. I also appreciate where this business is located, having to go over town for noodles hasn't always been super appealing, so this is great!
Lockdown lifted .....Cheers Vamcouvers...tasty food and nice staffs..
The place was nice and bright and the food were good especially the curry fries.
Great service!
Very average ramen and soup are very oily.
Best ramen place in town! We go here almost every week cuz it’s that good!! The staff are very nice and friendly!
Wow I can't wait this Ramen.
Pretty good ramen that's close to where I live. Has a really good menu selection
Food was very good and they are very vigilant with protection during COVID times, which I appreciated. My main gripe is the seating is very hard and uncomfortable and the music was so loud that even in a restaurant that wasn't full, you still couldn't hear the person across from you. Probably not returning.
Dinner
This place opened very recently and is already the absolute top of my list. I've tried ramen across the continent and there is no comparison in my eyes. Absolutely must try.
Dinner
Many thanks to ZUBU manager and staffs, I appreciate that you pay attention to our reviews and made a big change in your services to customers and courier guys.
Ramen was flavourful and fast but portions are on the smaller side. Pricing is also a bit higher than similar joints downtown.
Dine in
Just received my Uber eats order, which included some items "buy 1 get 1 free".... Those were the only items missing in my order. Taste is ok, not very different of what you get at walmart for less the money. Called the restaurant and they just told me, "get a refund through the app"
Food is always incredible…… service however is horrendous. Been there 10 times and counting for THE FOOD. Our servers nose might have been her best quality as her lack of using a mask to cover it seemed impossible. Unfortunately I’ll be back for THE FOOD. Thank you cooks. Thank you cause you’re the only thing holding this establishment together. Any jinya location seems to have their servers trained to a industry standard, not sure how Nubu fell so short.
I get Vegas vibes with this type of place. Imagine white guys serving noodles with perfect service. It's basically the cactus club of japanese-ish food minus skimpy waitresses. Good for drinks and service was impeccable. The reason I only gave 3 stars is that for the price it was only average. In Vancouver asian food is really competitive and you can get better ramen elsewhere for less. Avoid the rice bowls they were too "healthy" tasting. Ramen was good, fries were good and the peppers were refreshing and unique.
Very good ????tasty
I loved the Spicy Vegan Ramen! The broth was delicious and it was loaded with delicious veggies and tofu!
Excellent, helpful service; delicious dishes
very tasty
They tried to charge me, $1 for a mask...to walk not even 6 feet to a table! I will not be going there again.
First time had dinner at this place with my friend, me coming back again. Both dining experiences are pretty good. Food is delicious with rich flavor and in good presentation. Me and my friend added more food twice, really full after that. Love Crispy Chicken Ramen, Spicy Ramen (my friend recommended), Takoyaki, Tempura, Chicken Karaage the best. But Gyoza’s portion is a bit small. (Because we were sweeping the food, accidently forgot to take photos. Pic is shot during my second visit) Our server Genesis (not sure if it's the correct spelling) is very friendly, caring about our meal, chatting about the park me and my friend just went to, and listening to us comparing the taste with what we had before in other places. Generally worth coming back again.
Once again this place did not disappoint. Our server Genesis was outstanding, food was amazing in presentation and taste and all Covid protocols were being followed diligently. We loved the warm Sake, the Ebi prawns and the tempura Brussel sprouts. If you haven't tried this gem, you need to!!
I had the Tonkotsu Aka Ramen with gyoza and it was really good. Tasted authentic, and the service and Covid protocols were all good too.
Tonkotsu aka is the best
The hostess was impolite
The green peppers are a must have! I didn’t know what they were and they were my favourite of all the appetizers we ordered (the crispy chicken and the takoyaki)! The ramen is really good and the staff are friendly! I would highly recommend!! Edit: oh also a cool thing is that for a menu they have a QR code that you scan with you phone! We were offered physical menus as well!
Great broth, with rich flavor. Noodles are fresh and cooked perfectly. Meat was ok (fresh but blend). Only 4 stars because portions are small for the price.
Average food. Non existent service. Seemed like all the servers were training and no one knew what they were doing
First time visit... 'twas a great experience. Crunchy chicken ramen, tacos and fries were delicious. Will be back here for sure.
Not bad ramen but portions are small for the price. Chicken karage was juicy and nice light soy sauce vs a mayo sauce. The ramen soup was a bit greasy for my taste but flavour was descent. Poke bowl was good also but had better but not the worst.
Service was slow. Tonkotsu Kuro Noodle: good, springy Broth: rich, good Chashu: tender, good Other toppings: average Gyoza: good, the broth on the cast iron was a nice touch
Terrible service. Order was missing 3 toppings, and food took over 45 minutes. Meat was not cooked fresh, it was reheated.
Great service, food came out fast. everyone is respecting social distancing rules. Ramen was very tasty. 4/5. my only issue is the price is a bit much, however being in West Vancouver, its understable. Will Return.
Great service and yummy food!!!!
(Translated) The price is average. (Original) 性价比一般。
The hostess (greeting girl) was super rude I’ll never come back there again and despite the good service I received, I’m still unhappy about her Wouldn’t recommend to anyone
Superb ramens! Sophisticated in taste and presentation. Excellent desserts too! A favorite eatery for our family for sure!
I came here twice with my friends and we all love the cute asian server, especially her voice. She recommended us her favorites, then it turns out to be my favorites. Tonkotsu kuro with a seasoned egg and brussels sprout, takoyaki with dipping sauce are really tasty. I’d definitely cone back again
Really liked the food and staff was very friendly. The appetizers and ramen were very tasty, and also highly recommend the mochi ice cream dessert!
I’m giving this restaurant 4 stars purely on it’s crispy chicken ramen. I’ve been there for lunch a handful of times, each time the service gets significantly worse. No public WiFi which is a bit of a head scratcher to me, it’s 2020 and your MENU IS ONLINE!!! When I had originally asked for the WiFi information I got a snappy “it doesn’t exist here” from one of the servers. It seems like they’re more on top of take-out than dine-in.
Everything was on point! The attention to detail to ensure every corner of the chair, table and any touch points are properly cleaned. They take COVID-19 protocols seriously. On top of that, the whole team provided exceptional service from start to finish. The food was prepared well where nothing was too heavy or oily. Everything we had was very tasty. Will be back for sure.
Arguably the best ramen in West Vancouver.
The ramen broth is delicious, so deep in flavor and the chashu is definitely one of the best I’ve had. Only downside is they don’t customize to customers requests. Also when paying 3.50 for extra bamboo shoot, would be great to get more than 2 pieces.
Meal type
Very flavourful broth, including the spicy vegan ramen. Has tastes of Taiwan infused with Japanese for the ramen. If you like heavy tastes, salty garlicky food, definitely try here. Also has add on combos for meat eaters to add a small salad and 3 pieces of gyoza or fried chicken or other options. Good service too.
Ramen is okay, service is very slow.
Delicious
I’ll give 3.5 star. Ramen is good, but portion should be better. A lot of vacant table, but still need consumers to wait.
We ordered takeout from Zubu on UberEats tonight. We realized that the images online are pretty deceiving and the food itself is really disappointing. We ordered 5 piece Crispy Chicken, Tuna Tacos, and 5 piece Takoyaki. Only the Takoyaki really satisfied, so I'll tell ya why our experience was so bad. The chicken was SO pink. Like the smallest bit of pink is okay, I've had that a ton in other restaurants. But this was a little extreme and we didn't finish eating it because of this. The tacos were SO tiny. Way too small really, and the tuna inside it was actually kind of gross unfortunately. It wasn't fresh at all, more like a paste that has been squeezed into to a small deep-fried wonton. The pictures don't show just how small they really are, and they were $7.00 for both. Should have been half that price...
Great service delicious food. And very interesting seasonal specials.
Service
Really really rude staff! Absolute worst! It saddens me to see people treat people this way. Horrible. Dont recommend ever.
If you have to wait for 60 min after place a pickup order, (and outside store wait another 20min) no matter how good i couldnt tell. Actually the taste is avarage level.
Love it and food is good and workers very friendly.
Loved it....awesome little place for ramen. They have a lunch special that gives you a three choices per item to choose from...appetizer, main, and a dessert. Outdoor patio seating is also available.
Service
The restaurant itself has a very good vibe. I ordered the spicy ramen and it come out very nice. For me, spicy level 5 is perfect. A downside is sometimes the service is a little bit slow.
Ramen was kinda expensive for not a lot of ingredients/toppings. The broth and noodles were delicious but really they don't give a lot of toppings almost no veg in my vegan ramen. My husband got one piece of pork in his and green onions and bean sprouts. I was a bit disappounted Other ramen places usually give half a boil egg with different veg.
Good food

Great environment and service!

Easy ramen option with professional staff
