Great pub. Grood grub. There us a wide selection of taps, wines. The daily specials are great. Many many TVs all around, they roll down the projection screens for special games. Only one objection, on Wednesday evenings an entertainer makes the most horrendous music that kills all conversation. When will the management notice that the bars right out when this guy starts his noise?

This Restaurant has a really nice laid back environment going on. Lots of TV's with the most popular sports on. The bar is nice and big and you can also sit at tables with comfy chairs for dinner too. Lots of comfort food options.

First time trying the Village Taphouse. We thought it would be a simple bar but it turned out to be more, it was very nice inside they had a fancy restaurant side and more of a bar at the back of the restaurant with a pool table and board games. The food is delicious and the service is amazing and very fast! The manager Nick was very welcoming and made sure we were taken care of! Go check out the village Taphouse, we will for sure be back there!

Spacious pub with a great pub menu . There was football playing, fans cheering and drinking beer . I had a delicious burger and fries ....YUM! I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had gluten free buns as well. The server was friendly and helpful . Definitely will go back.

Service was great. Lager was great. I understand bar food is greasy and salty. But to get this place for a 5 star for me is to decrease the sodium. A lot of the dishes like the notorious pizza, tuna pokebowl, potato skins, and mac and cheese was way too salty. Otherwise, everything else was good. I hope my review was not too salty ????

Its a great spot in West Vancouver. Its right in the royal park village shopping area and its huge with dim lights ambience and modern twist to every dish and drink. Happening place even on a weekday so must be famous with locals. In fact there is full fledge waiting area with comfortable couches but we didn’t have to wait and got seated immediately. Once on our table, we took our time to dig in the vegetarian choices. There are quite a few to pick from so we ordered brussel sprouts and loaded nachos ( our server got extra vegetarian topping for us since we didn’t want any meat) no extra charge but see wen u load ir nachos then they become a full meal. There was no room for more food but we still went ahead n ordered pizza ( we packed it later though). Pizza was very fresh and crisp. Toppings were plenty. Service n food delivery time was fast that we actually had to get our pizza placed in hot case . Overall a wonderful dinning experience.

Either way, they've got pool tables, live sports, good food, an expansive beer selection, and it's also in a pretty convenient location.

Had their signature burger with yam fries. This is one of the best burgers I had in a long time. The brioche bun and patty were very good. And the yam fries were nice and crispy and served with an aoli dip. Service was quick and friendly. Would definitely recommend coming here.

Took my niece and my son here. We all loved that they have this wonderful fireplace, as usual we enjoyed the food and prompt service. The happy hour offers are worth the West Van traffic. Love being at Park Royal South.

We shared the Korean Cauliflower to start, which was brought out by David (I believe) who was super friendly and had a wide knowledge of the menu, he made some suggestions for our mains which were both fantastic! My friend bit down on 2 black pieces of plastic in her Huevos Rancheros, although it didn’t ruin her meal/appetite it could have broken her tooth. Pointed it out to the bar staff and she did not discount or remove it from the bill. Would think this to be something of industry standard. Will think about visiting other, safer locations the next time I’m at Park Royal.

I come here almost every time I’m in west van. Been here lots with family and friends. The service is always fast and friendly, the food is great, there’s free pool and a bunch of games available that you can play! The booths are super comfy and the decor is nice but not distracting. Happy deals are great and there’s specials every day of the week. Also lots of TVs for watching sports and a good selection of beers on tap! What more could you ask for?

Wicked layed back atmosphere, great applies, reasonably priced. Great place to hang out. Potatoes skins rock!!! Ooops...Spoke too soon! Waitress changed half way into service and things went to pot. Attitude, impossible to flag down, asked to close the door and was told "only half way abuse it gets too hot". Most people are wearing their jackets! Coffee was cold and I had to ask for sugar! Plate was taken away before we had even finished eating. Asked to have leftovers wrapped and was given a container to wrap it up myself...I guess I was supposed to steal the ramekin for the honey mustard sauce;-)

This place in my opinion has good atmosphere in terms of cleanliness and design and lighting and staff hospitality and service but i just dont like the music which is too loud and annoying to enjoy and the food selections and quality seems to degrade over the hmyears of going here. Last night I went there and i had a hard time choosing something from the menu. My stinging bee pizza was super burnt up and it was all black and i had to break and remove all the carbon from around the crust and the pizza itself was extremely salty and greasy and its taste was very boring for an $18.50 pizza. I would have much rathered and enjoyed a large dominos pizza with pine apple and olives and mushrooms and bbq sauce and tomatoes and jalapenos but this pizza was just tomato and olives and mushrooms but overall it tasted very bland and greasy and extremely salty that i had to keep sipping water to wash it down. The burger also i had from a few nights ago was not tasty and seemed a bit raw and lacked taste and spice in it. I think they need to hire a better chef with better food items and better care and attention to the presentationn.

You can get half price pizzas (about $9) after 9pm. And these are really tasty pizzas too, way better than your typical Domino's or Pango pizza. It's a really good deal.

It was my first time visiting Tap House and unfortunately I probably won’t be back. For takeout I ordered the Santorini salad with falafel and chicken tenders for my friend. When ordering I asked if the Santorini salad was vegan, he told me he would find out if it was vegan, he never told me. When I picked up my food, I realized that they completely forgot to make the chicken tenders, so my friend didn’t have any food. I asked girl who was taking my payment if the salad was vegan and her response was “that’s a good question, I don’t know.” Lastly I asked for cutlery and I was not given any. So now I would finally like to know if the Santorini salad is vegan.

Don't eat here if you are celiac. They don't take food allergies seriously. When I specified that an order was gluten free they brought me fries cooked in a deep fryer which has other breaded items cooked in it. When I talked to the manager about the fact that this was NOT a gluten free option and should be taken off the menu he told me that the high temperatures "burns the gluten off". I was very tempted to respond sarcastically, "does it burn the carbs off too?" I don't know how the gluten in normal bread survives baking, if gluten burns off when heated. In all fairness the poor manager wasn't at fault. He told me that their regional manager, who is celiac, regularly eats the french fries at their restaurant and had given him this awfully ill-informed information. I'm not sure if his regional manager is an idiot or just incredibly irresponsible. He didn't charge me for my meal but I haven't gone back since.

Not bad! I like that they have board games you can play at your table and the food goes well with beer. I particularly liked their teriyaki chicken wings and the beef dip. It's a good hangout spot with friends. The atmosphere is also quite nice and cozy :)

We ordered hot wings and the server asked if we would like a dip with it as it came with nothing .... Have been to many restaurants and with hot wings they always give a dip and an additional dip there is a charge but not the first one.

Been here a few times, tasty bar food and daily drink specials are good value. Friendly service and nice patio, burgers and nachos good. Prices of appies and salads seem too high compared to the mains - nachos with protein cost the same as the steak - otherwise always good.

A great location, wonderful atmosphere, live music. I ordered the chicken pizza, which came with a fancy plate including some spices for extra flavour. The calamari was also really fresh and crunchy. Although really busy, the staff were attentive. Highly recommended.

My friends and I (12 industry people) came to Taphouse for a Saturday brunch during the pandemic. We ordered a round of drinks plus a round of pick me ups/shafts. Spending lots of money and respecting the staff because we are all part of the same industry family and the server tells us that the bartender declares this would be the only round of pick me ups he would be making........ Ok we will take our business elsewhere !

Situated on the south side of West Vancouver's Park Royal Mall Village, The Taphouse is a very large, comfortable and open bar/restaurant. It has many TVs and is one of our favourite spots to go for Sports events (World Cup / Euros). The food is very good with a reasonably good variety, and there is a good selection of beer and wine. I've been told that the cocktails are well prepared but I'm more a beer person. The service is always excellent and the atmosphere jovial...so it has always been a good time for us. Highly recommend it.

Love the place. The food and vibe is great. I have been there at least 10 times and the service there is really under par. There so many times I have been there and it takes so long just to even get our servers attention. Our plates were left of the table for at least 20 mins. And tonight we were going to order some takeaway food but the server would not be anywhere to be seen. Also to add we have been served mayonnaise and another egg based sauce 2 times when my friend has an allergy to eggs. One person who has really kept this at an overall 2 star is because of Anise (who I would give 5 stars to). She is super personable, fun and really welcoming and really understand great and memorable customer service.

Ordered the Tuna Poke bowl. Was a nice medley of flavors with tuna, croutons,avocado, pine apple, a mix of other items and rice. I would recommend it. Service was just ok. The patio could definitely use a couple more umbrellas for shade. Other than this the restaurant was nice and had a good vibe.

Honestly couldn't think of a better spot in West Van for a drink and the game. The food is great, the atmosphere is always awesome and there's always an energy about the place. It's super well laid out and the pool table in the back is always in high demand. Can't beat this for Hockey Night in Canada or Sunday's football! The live music they have from time to time is wicked as well. They have a lovely patio and the staff are generally pretty awesome.

My go to restaurant when you're in the west vancouver area. Their portions are pretty big. I always come with my fam here and we don't order a lot but their portions are big that we still need to bring it home. Don't leave without trying their nachos and their chicken lettuce wrap. Plus their burger is mouth watering. I say go and try it out. They do get busy during game night. They have a pool table to the side of the restaurant, patio area if you want to eat outside and they have multiple tv screens for you to watch your games

Nice spot for happy hour if you happen to be in the area. Food is consistently good and you really can't pass up $4 beer. FYI: the Taphouse lager pairs incredibly well with the Korean chicken. Service is friendly and quick. I love the seating towards the front where you can just sink into the chairs.

Then suddenly they're your BEST friend $$$ I ordered chicken lettuce wraps and the chicken looked like... chunks of mozza cheese? The yam fries were cold. All in all probably won't be returning. For the price and the cute location I was really expecting far better.

Great place to meet up with a few friends for drinks and food. The decor and seating is really great. Its a shame the patio isn't in the sun very long in the summer but great spot to chill when they have the fire pits out. Food is great if your looking for some comfort food in a classy serving. Drink list is quite good range of choice.

Beautiful, clean and organized, the food and appetizers were tasty, the service was friendly but a little anxious, they wanted us to quickly decide what we wanted to eat, drink without first reading the menu. We gave up on dessert because the bill was ready to be paid. the restaurant was not full for us to leave the table so quickly.

I love this place. The Bellini they serve is AMAZING. The nachos they make rock my world. Salads are excellent. The Korean chicken is something I would compete so hard for if it was at the finish line of a race. The servers dress casual (black shirt and jeans) so there is a more chill vibe than cactus club. Cactus is great, and actually owns village taphouse, but the vibe is totally different. OH YA!!!!! And their pizzas are all to die for. Happy hour this place if you aren’t sure and try everything. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

If you are vegan this is not the place to go.To avoid! Vegans are not welcome there and they do not know what vegan is may be not part of their training yet! We thought being a busy restaurant at a popular spot you’d have at least one choice that is vegan but nope. So I decided that tonight a salad would be the choice of the night ( very rarely eat salads!!) So I ordered the Sierra salad without the protein as the server said that they would make it vegan. When the order came , My wife received the burger she ordered which was the skinniest patty ever, my son received his over cooked chicken tenders and my salad took longer to get to me. Eventually it arrived covered in goat cheese. So as my family ate their dinner I was waiting again for it to be redone. Apologies were given. Salad wasn’t great at all. Seriously! Mesclun with radishes. Paid full price as well. They did not want us back ???? I guess people go there for the ambiance which is great !!! Fred

We have been to the village Taphouse several times. I love it’s convenient location at The village at park royal which makes it perfect for lunch or dinner after shopping, as well there’s plenty of parking. The ambiance is very welcoming and relaxed, customer service is great and the food and drinks are delicious. We shared the forager pizza, calamari, sierra salad and a few glasses of wine. Every bite was scrumptious! On a beautiful summer day, the patio is a must.

All experiences at the Taphouse are always great. Our waitress was very nice and didn't push us to order food right away even though the restaurant hours are reduced due to covid 19. The Nashville chicken sandwich was well done and the truffle fries were great too. The local craft beer night saw the sleeves on special at $6.00. Highly recommended!

I always go to the tabhouse. It is a good restaurant woth good service but unfortunately recently (the past 2 weeks I've gone there 3 times) I saw mice INSIDE THE RESTAURANT itself and going around to the balcony. I have told the manager 3 times already but they just say "it happens..." I don't think having mice inside the restaurant is normal.

Great place for a drink and snack. I came here with my friends the other weekend and we had a great time. I ordered the salt and pepper wings and the macaroni and cheese. BEWARE, the macaroni and cheese is served in a mini cast iron pan which the iron RUBS OFF on the pasta, it tasted gross. Everything else was fantastic, but I will give this place 2 stars because of the cast iron pan problem. Please let your sever know if you notice this problem !!

Food is great, but unfortunately the service is extremely poor. I've eaten here a few times and both times had problems with service. On one occasion I ordered a burger, and asked for it without toppings I'm allergic to. It came out with all the toppings, I waited a long time but my server didn't come back so I had to wave down a different server. They took my plate, and brought back the same burger with the toppings scraped off. I then had to wait again before getting someone to take it back to have a new one made. So use extreme caution when eating here if you have any dietary restrictions! On my other trip we were served soapy water after the meal, it was disgusting and made us feel sick.

An unexpected food discovery! Fantastic pizza with perfect combination of ingredients, with light and chewy crust that has and extra bite of salt at the end (think fresh-baked pretzel). Brussels sprouts with panko and Parmesan also a must-order!

Not a welcoming spot for trans people. The bacon burger was fine but the bun tasted a bit stale. The Caesar salad was topped with crispy capers, which was a nice touch. The staff was friendly, which goes to show how nice people can act while they’re robbing you of your humanity.

The patio is very convenient and has a roof so the tables are protected from the elements. The service was very attentive and prompt and the food did not take long to arrive. Server was very helpful making recommendations. Their pizzas are very well made and the ribs were "fall off the bones" (please see photos). They have a good selection of beers on tap and were quick to bring over some samples since I was not familiar with the local beers. All in all, a very pleasant dining experience.

The one thing I'm not happy about is how loud the live performance was. It's not recommended for people who have hearing problems because the live performer can drown out the sound of your order. But hey, at least the server for my table was accommodating enough to fix the mistake if she misheard your order. Feel free to pig out with the nachos special they offer.

All hail the gluten free bun that actually tastes really good for a roast turkey sandwich. My companions had pizza and a chicken caesar salad which they fully recommend. Really enjoyed the service including the replacement of a beer choice that wasn't to taste. Always a good place!

It's a very clean and relaxing establishment that feels comfortable and not pretentious. Sitting outside was nice as there is ample space with clean tables and space between them. Food was reasonable and generally looks pleasing and appetizing. Burgers appear to be very popular as many guests were ordering them on the day I went. Bathrooms are clean. Receptionist was friendly and welcoming. Waitress was alright. Seemed distracted or perhaps was just busy with other tables. It's worth checking out and would make a great place for groups to visit for food and drinks.

This is a place not to miss. I judge a place by it's burger and beer. For a Bacon Cheese BURGER this place knows it's stuff. It's not the best burger I've had but it runs a pretty good Second. THEY HAVE 20 beers on tap so you can definitely find something great.. Sat at the bar and brought a book. Bartender was friendly and my glass was never empty. I will definitely come back here and bring friends .

Really lovely pub feel, makes for a nice casual date night or a family outing. Bonus that the ice hockey was on TV. Staff were super friendly & helpful. Food & drinks were delicious & quick to our table. I had the chicken tenders which were hot & crunchy with a really tasty honey mustard dip. Felt very covid safe (fresh plastic bag over the card machine for each customer). Thanks for a great night!

Its almost like all ratings prior to March 2020 should be erased by Google. The Taphouse is another restaurant that is struggling to create (re-create) itself post June 2020 startup. The service quality is not the same as before and they have introduced a "reservation" system, which combined with fewer tables means that casual walk-ins cannot be accommodated, even though no-shows are common. The point of the "Taphouse" was a walk-in place while shopping at PR, or a drop in on the way home from work. Reservations did not an do not fit in. Food costs are up the 20% from March that many of their peers are doing. The on-site staff are doing their best but are struggling. They offer the same refrain: support us because we are local not because we offer good service, because we don't, and we know it. So subsidize them if you wish, but there are other local places doing better with customer service than they are e.g. Milestones.

By looking at her eyes you know she is so kind and cares about your experience With them. The food is excellent too and they were timing it to make sure my fish tacos are crunchy and right. This place used to be a 5 star in my opinion. Now 2.5 stars. A few years ago I came weekly (this was the spot for all the lifeguards at the wv rec center) they had the best frikn burger ever. It was a bison burger with bacon amd this insane aoili sauce. They got ride of their best selling item cause they had a row with their supplier. I still give 2.5 stars. Most of the food is pretty good but the place is slipping. Always different staff. The pizzas are great but often they come with too much sauce and since its flat bread it gets soggy. Good atmosphere, good happy hour and late night drink/food specials. In summary, its decent enough for me to go about once a month or so.

Terrible customer service. Royally messed up our pick up order and it was a 2 day argument to get refunded. Intitally we were only offered a replacement entree of 'equal value' next time we came back. They made sure to ONLY refund what we didn't get, but of course kept the generous tip we left. Very unfortunate, this place used to be great. Food quality and service have degraded greatly. Won't be returning.

We have been your customer since you guys opened and even before when it was Steam works as a matter of fact one of my good friends was a chief back then there. We are a group of friends that come to your location almost every two weeks plus in between all of us come with our families and we all highly recommend you to everyone and everywhere. Since you re-open after COVID-19 to support your business again we all never went anywhere else as we love your establishment so much. The food, service, drink and everything. Of course over the past years we had some bed experiences but mostly nothing but great service and hospitality. Between all of us we easily spent tens of thousand of dollars every year in your restaurant. It all changed last night,six of us came as usual for our bi-weekly after work beer and it was all good to begin with. First it was 3 of us there we ordered beer and the other guys showed up we waited so long for our server but she wasn’t around and restaurant was empty so not sure where she was but again it was all okay and then one of the guys who was sitting at the edge of the booth raised his hand to grab the attention of one of your employees so hopefully someone could come and help us to order food and drink after almost a few minutes a very rude young man showed up at our table chewing gum and first thing he said in a very unpleasant, disrespectful voice was I saw your hand bring it down. We were all in shock the way he talked to us and then he took our order in a way he is doing us a favour and left our table without saying anything. We all looked at each other and still in shock and one by one we started talking to each other as if the other person felt the same way and we all agreed that he was so rude and unprofessional. We still didn’t say anything as a respect we have for your restaurant but when our server showed up with our drink we asked her that we needed to talk to a manager. A nice young lady that unfortunately can’t remember her name showed up at our table and we explained the situation to her. She apologized and she told us she remembered all of our faces as we are always there but I told her she shouldn’t apologize as she didn’t do anything wrong. I told her that guy was standing there talking to girls, chewing his gum in the middle of restaurant and it is not like you guys busy and then first thing he tells us in a very rude manner is he saw the hand so if he saw it why it took him so long to attend to us and why he has to be so rude and unprofessional about it. One of my friends took his name and email of your head office to write about the incident to your head office and Honestly I wasn’t going to leave this review since I have respect for your business but as much as I tried I couldn’t. All of the people who showed us yesterday are in customer related services and hospitality so we all know how much it is important to take care of your customers. But unfortunately that person will ruin your image with his demeanour. When we got our bill our server said they took care of one round of drinks which was much appreciated but not necessary as our complaint and concern wasn’t about food or drink. I believe in this difficult time as your loyal customers trying to support you the minimum you can do is to feel them welcome and not vice versa. I do have the name of that man if you care to reach out to me and want to know who he was but to respect his privacy I will not mention it publicly.

It is a good place but irrirating that if you are going to put highballs on Happy Hour it should not matter whether the mix is orange juice or pop.
