We had a great experience here! It’s not a traditional British pub but we liked the atmosphere and service. Only annoying thing was people were coming in and holding the door open, so try and get a seat away from the door on colder days. Food was delicious and filling! We’ll be back soon :)
The Katsu Chicken sandwich is incredible! Tofu bowl very tasty. Location is excellent with great view of the park and English Bay (parking is difficult). Beer selection was also really good - something for everyone in our party of 6. Really busy on a Friday night, music quite loud that we had to really shout to talk. I think our server was one the bartenders helping out with service and he was quite absent minded and messed up things with our order and with payment, but super friendly staff!
Great little neighbourhood pub right at English Bay. There's no outdoor seating, but the huge windows open up and gives the ocean breeze a way in! Tasty bar food and friendly service round out this West End hot spot.
The hostess/manager gal with the beautiful brunette hair with blonde highlights was lovely!!! Amazing hospitality. Well looked after. Drinks were bomb. Food was delicious. Haven't been here in ages but will definitely be back xoxox (from score on Davie employee )
One of the best pub menus in Vancouver The food is more up to date with new cuisine than other pubs in the west end. Great place to come in and chat with friends. Great service as Sadie always greets me with a smile and makes me feel like I am family. That’s what keeps me coming back!
This is my Second time here - Honestly Service not so good for what you pay for. Fish too greasy and a lot of paste ,i could barely get into the fish. The waiter gave us wrong drinks which I ddnt mind, but no utensils is worst!! The Bay opposite them takes the cup!

Went in for happy hour on Tuesday around 530 pm. Our server was prompt and pleasant, but our appetizers took forever to arrive. They were tasty, but super slow. Also took a long time to get our bill. Maybe they need additional kitchen staff? Not really worth the wait, there are tons of food options along Denman.
If you’re lucky enough to grab a window seat looking out, I’d argue it’s a better spot than sitting beach side! Right in the midst of English Bay, the drinks are consistent & to my surprise the food was even better!! Would come again anytime and always feels great supporting LOCAL in these times!
Great cocktails. Bartenders were fun. Only downside is the weird seating beside the door where you barely fit and also can't really get service. After moving to the bar my quality of life improved
7 oz steak and frites... looks like 4 oz at most. Over well steak by default? My jaw got sore after tying to chew. Red wine jus and butter are really good, feel pity for them...
Had the chicken and waffles for brunch and it was delicious. Great location and drink specials too!
Went here for St. Patrick's day. They had decorations and even a customized drink menu for the day...which was nice but when it came down to the music, they were playing top 40, we asked the staff 5 times to play some Irish music. They would play a couple of songs then change it back. When asked why they kept doing that, they said that the kitchen staff was tired of hearing Irish music....as if the customer's preference on that specific day doesn't exist.
It was the place I always went to when I was living in Vancouver. One of the memories I miss the most. Hope to still find great beer and chill atmosphere when I get back to Vancity one day.
Nice atmosphere. Pretty good food and drinks.
Pleasantly surprised! I went for the all day breakfast and the quality of the food was unbelievably good, I'll definitely be back! Great value for money, half decent Guinness and a good vibe from staff ????
Great location and attentive , friendly staff. Just stopped in for a pint so I don't know about the food, but it looked good.
Great little pub serving craft beer, cocktails and wine. Typical Donnelly pub food, clean and lots of it!
We had fun, friendly people, food was okay.
We liked this place we always go when visiting Van Great location Looking out towards the bay but you can’t see much of the ocean of course. However it’s awesome for people watching and the breeze and english bay vibe. Not very big inside and limited menu fish and chips-burger -just a few mains wish they expanded the menu to offer more choice. Two of the cocktails I had were awesome and the margarita was disappointing weak and no flavour for $12 even though it was recommended by waitress. Penicillin and paper cocktails great guess ot depends who’s mixing them.
Came here for brunch today... wasn't busy.. near the water and my food was AMAZING... definitely will be back

Great location! Beautiful views! Good food!
Come here often, it's a great spot. The food is actually so good, too many bars in van skimp on their food as a pub. Everything is great, probably best chicken wings i have had in BC? Curtis is also beautiful and a legend
Great small bar with surprisingly great food. Their breakfast potatoes are my fav in the city
Beautiful view of the water from about half of the seats in the pub. Tasty Driftwood Fat Tug IPA on tap. The beer lines were clean & well taken care of. Friendly attentive servers. Tasty food. Try the sausage rolls. One of the best pubs to watch the fireworks in July at.
Very friendly great service. Bartender greeted us as soon as we came through the door. Server was exceptional (Sadie). Food was not bad but hey it's the West end. Great service is what stands out here in an area where most servers act like you are interrupting them
Location location location! What can I say this beautiful place is located right on Davies and Denman right on the corner. You can see one of the most beautiful beaches in Canada, called English Bay. The food is mouth-watering the service is amazing all the servers are very kind very warm very prompt. This would be a perfect location if you're going on a date or if you're just like me and love views views and more views!!!
Had to wait about 20 minutes for a table on a Saturday at 5pm, but it was worth it for the caesars. They were perfect- beautiful and delicious. I don't recommend the dirty fries, but the mozarella sticks were great.
Loved it, the food and customer service are just perfect <3 prices are very reasonable. Loved the place, definitely will come back.
The Alder Mule is amazing and fantastic fish n chips, will definitely be back.
Was awesome! My 1st time having fish and chips! So good.
Good beer selection and views over the bay.
Amazing place! We came just for dinner and end up having wings and drinks!! Don't forget WEDNESDAYS WINGS
Service
This is definitely my favouritest pub. All the staff are wonderfully friendly, great range of drinks, food is superb and of course... Location, location... Well you can see English Bay so what more could you ask?
I don't know if I need to get out more or what, but this was like the greatest summer experience that I can recall. The cocktails were delicious, the beer was cold, they had Kronenburg Blanc in tap for $8, and I had the kale chicken salad, that was likely the best restaurant salad I've had in my life. Service was???? 10/10 Recommend!
Stopped here for a few drinks on a cold January afternoon. It was lovely and warm, staff attentive but not overly. We didn’t eat but the food looked really good! Drinks were good and well chilled. I like the fact they don’t serve ice with their cider
Great place, great people. My friends favourite watering hole and it lived up to its rep. The food was amazing, I would recommend the cauliflower, the dip is the bomb. Happy hour is also a great time to people watch. Avoid the chains, drop on by
Nice pub and restaurant with nice views to the English Bay. Staff is very friendly and professional. Free Wi-Fi is available. I have tried the Fish and Chips and it was very good. They have also some TVs broadcasting live sports.
The 3 Brits Burger was deeeelish... Service was great - Eva,Thank-you!! Hostess was unable to do her job, seating people before us.
Awesome location to grab a beer & a bite. The staff is always friendly, service is punctual and the prices are great. My only wish is that their craft beer list was better with all the awesome breweries around, but must consider their size. However, you won’t be disappointed coming here and I would recommend it to anyone hanging out in English Bay.
Good food, good service and nice atmosphere. Should have a little bit more of a selection for food however I still recommend
What a great location to have an afternoon drink! Moderate beer selection with several craft options across different styles and some quality imports. Fast and friendly service. Just a great people watching corner on a perfect August afternoon. It was too early to eat but the food menu looked excellent. Next time.
I love the food (even though the tacos were too spicy for me, I think they were good) the burger is delicious! The fries are excellent. The waiter is super nice, polite and friendly. The place is cozy, specially in the spring, because we can see the sunset!! It’s beautiful!! We can also see the beach, which is amazingly wonderful!! They were extra careful in the pandemic time, with lots of space between people, and offering alcohol at the entrance!
Excellent pub located in the heart of English Bay. We did enjoy a great deal the happy hour with the excellent service offered by Sofie . The white wine was exquisite and extremely affordable and the selections oh appies as edamame, mozzarella sticks and dirty fries are very delicious . A place to go back anytime. We had a blast with also the beautiful view and they are very good in following the social distance protocol and sanitization.
My favorite place in west end, super friendly , super local and amazing to watch games , they are awesome ???????????? Michelle was great host and she did mush was I expected , well done guys keep it up
By the beach this place is amazing. Seated next to the window can experience the fast moving crowd in slow pace.
The Three Brits was a great place to have a beer on a sunny weekend afternoon. There was plenty of seating and the beer selection was great. The best part was that the manager. He was very friendly and made great recommendations. He seemed to make everyone feel like a regular.
Great location with views of English Bay. Great service and took advantage of the Happy Hour beer specials!! Smaller place which makes it even better in my opinion.
Great atmospere and great location. The service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious. Careful with the mozzarella sticks : they are SPICEEEY
I had so much fun here. Everyone was so nice. Seriously, from start to finish it was a really nice experience. The greeters were friendly, the server was friendly and we met the owner and he was super friendly as well. I’m basically ranting at this point but it’s just so nice to have a good experience.
Hung out here for a couple of hours during the South African Celebration of Lights firework display. We bought special tickets so we could watch from the outside stools. As we sat here, we drank Guiness and Jameson/Gingers... which hit the spot. We also ate like kings. The Currywurst for an app was spectacular and the fish n' chips were good. How better to end the meal.... Dark Chocolate Praline bar!!
Thanks to Chef Steve, the menu here is awesome! Had delicious dirty fries, which are kinda like nacho poutine (way better than it sounds) and the pulled pork banh mi. Banh mi had layers of flavor and texture. And the view was amazing!
Friendly staff, great IPA ???? didn't have to wait for a table ????
Nice Pub with a view of English Bay in downtown Vancouver. Located across from the water it has some nice views if you have a window seat. It has typical pub food and happy hours. Can be busy on a sunny day but is a nice place to hangout.
A bit pricey and thought it would have a better selection of meals and beers. I liked what I had but it's a pricier option for a night out and a smaller menu.
Service and food were pretty good, but it’s the view from the patio and the great pour of Guinness that makes the Three Brits a 5 star public house. The calamari is quite unique as well.
Absolutely garbage service, sat for over 7 minutes before even being asked for drinks, got margaritas in a whiskey tumbler, overly salted rim, asked for a separate bill and got it together, and continued to sit for another 9 minutes after we finished our drinks until we got sick, left money, and left
Great location, typical Vancouver service. Started off pretty good but continued to slide down hill quickly. We had a group that made up half the bar and we all felt like we were a bother to the waitress. Trying to order a round of proper tequila also required us to ask her to come by 3 times If it wasn't for the location and the beer, I'd go to one of the other 4 pubs in the same block
Two chicken sandwiches to go for $35.18. Tastes good, big portion, lovely lovely staff. We have been eating here since 2018. They were closed briefly in the Pandemic. We are really glad they are open again.
-2 stars for the flies that were flying around in the restaurant. Otherwise, everything else was pretty good. The view is awesome.
Always a good place to hang on a beautiful day. Great view of English Bay (ocean view). Good drinks and food!
Great food coupled with fantastic service. Can't wait to go back!. We moved here after an awful experience pushed us away from the Cactus Club, and the difference was incredible. We were greeted by a lovely hostess in a grey dress who seated us almost immediately, offering us three different areas we could sit with a different wait time for each. She knew her stuff! After finding our table, we were served by a bloke with a black beard and tied back hair who was nothing short of amazing. A lovely dude who gave us excellent service and was happy to chat with us during and after our meal, which itself was superb.
I’d like to say that the manager was great. He did everything he should have, was honest with me, and ended up comp’ing the meal. My server was also quite good, although I do have one issue with her that will be mentioned in the review. So Donnelly's has this prime rib dinner on Sunday nights, starting at 4 PM. I had made plans with some friends to go there this past Sunday, and as we were headed over there for 4 PM on a whim I decided to call the restaurant and make sure it was being offered that night, because of St. Patrick’s Day. It was, I was told, but at 4 PM they hadn’t even started it yet. So, long story short, my friends bailed and I ended up waiting until 7 PM to be able to order it. When I arrived at The Three Brits, the place was packed. If you’re looking for a place where you can have a quiet meal and conversation with someone, this isn’t the place. If someone was sitting beside you, you’d have to yell for them to hear you. But hey, that’s fine. That’s just the kind of place it is. So when the waitress comes to the table to take my order, I ask about the prime rib and ask her if it looks as good as the photo I am showing her- a photo taken off a local website of what they offer as far as the prime rib dinner. She says yes. Cooked to a nice medium rare. GREAT!!! I’m salivating. Well, 15-20 minutes later it comes to my table. What a shock. It’s cooked medium to medium well. So I go from dreaming about this wonderful bright pink, tender delicious prime rib to something that looks the colour of a hamburger patty. When I question the waitress about it and ask for a rarer cut she tells me they are all the same. A few minutes later the manager comes out and after discussing it with him, he proceeds to tell me that it almost never comes out of the oven that beautiful medium rare pinky red- even though I made a point of asking the waitress that before I wasted my time ordering it. Such a huge disappointment. The cost is $18.00. The waitress ended up bringing me another cut of beef out that was ever so slightly pink. Five minutes after it hit the table it was cold and pretty much inedible. The waitress asked me if she could take it back to the kitchen and heat it up for me. I guess she doesn’t understand thermodynamics. Heating it up would mean cooking it more, and I would just be back to the first plate of beef- warm but over cooked. So, the beef was cold and over cooked. The Yorkshire pudding (popover) was wonderful, but was literally about the top 20-30% of a regular popover. It was this tiny sliver. The potatoes were fantastic. The braised carrots were nice. The au jus was flavourful, but must have been the scrapings off the pan as it had more of a gravy consistency than au jus. In the end, I would have been willing to pay $25-30 for what they actually advertised versus what they serve. What I got was horrible, and the fact that they advertise a beautifully cooked slice of prime rib and then give you something that is over cooked and barely cuttable with a knife is, as far as I am concerned, absolute fraud. Why not take a photo of what you actually serve and use that to advertise your product? Because NO ONE WOULD EVER BUY IT. I just don’t get dishonesty like that. In the end, all you have to do is cook it to a nice medium rare. If someone wants it cooked a little longer, throw it in the oven for a few extra minutes. It’s not rocket science. But when you over cook the entire roast, you can’t go back and make it medium rare. So again, the manager- great. Genuinely concerned and honest. The waitress- very good effort, but I didn’t appreciate the fact that she told me they cooked the roast to a nice medium rare, and knowing that I wanted that, brought me out this sad overcooked piece of meat and then tried to excuse it away. Shameful. Would I go back again? Nope. Other reviews also say the food here isn’t anything really good. My experience confirms that. Pretty sad really, when you consider it’s supposed to be a British Pub.
Really nice bar, great atmosphere. Really lively with a nice view. The service is warm and efficient. The beers are good and the happy hour is very economic: 5$ for a pinte. Our favourite in Vancouver.
Happy Hour drink menu Weekdays 3-6pm Got a nice patio area where you can enjoy the sun and enjoy the views. Food menu is reasonably priced. Mask is recommended but not mandatory (none of the servers wore them). Menu and payment was all electronic and done through a QR code, which thought was pretty cool.
Love the place! Great spot in the busy English Bay area. Fish and chips or burger is recommended. Friendly staff. Make sure you planned ahead due to long waiting list.
Fantastic gastro pub. Great pub grub that caters to British audiences with a Canadian twist. Bar staff are so friendly, polite and really go out of their way to attend to you. Highly recommend for a decent night out without breaking the bank.
Great local pub right off And with a window view of English Bay. Friendly staff, great selection of beer on tap and good food. Sit at the open windows and enjoy the view and people watching.
By far the best pub so far on this trip. Our server Doug was a trip like Russell Brand without the annoyance. A must see in English Bay

Handy little pub with a great atmosphere and eclectic clientele. Food was excellent, (try the chowder), and although the manager chose to completely ignore me when I spoke to him, (selective hearing) the waitress was absolutely brilliant. My first pub meal in Canada and has set a high bar.
Stopped by for a burger. It was perfect and the staff were super nice. Gave me a nice table with a view and I was all by myself. ????????
Love this little hidden neighborhood gem for late night food and drinks that doesn't skimp on quality. We figured we'd be limited to greasy bar food late on a Sunday night, but we were pleasantly surprised! Found a nice table by a big open window with a nice breeze and enjoyed a delicious supper. I had the best tasting burger I've had in years and my husband was in awe over the chicken sandwich. Drinks were tasty and the waitress was attentive. Will definitely come back on our next visit to English Bay!
Overpriced and horrible TV's. Not a very good place to watch a game. We paid about $13 for 6 chicken wings! That's more than $2 a chicken wing. They were good, but not THAT good. The burger was $16 and came with McDonalds fries. The atmosphere is nice, the waiters are wonderful, and the view is great if you're on the patio, but other than that, the chairs were uncomfortable and the TV's kept changing colour. All-in-all, a two-star experience.
Great view, drinks were so good! Staff were friendly, would highly recommend!

The Blackberry sour was delicious and they were open late which was lovely. Didn't have the food because the kitchen was closed though.
