Tiki poke bowl from @hulapoke thanks to the @ritual_co app! Loved the ahi tuna and the kale. Was expecting the rice to be more like sushi rice but it was more like a bowl of plain white rice instead.
love it
Friendly staff gave me recommendation on my first visit. I find the portion is perfect for my poke bowl. I had to share it with my son. Good quality and fair quantity. The price is a bit on the high side but it is located in downtown Pacific centre. I cannot really compare it with other east Vancouver location. After all, it is fresh , clean and delicious ! I will definitely go there again whenever I am in that area!
White version of poke. Too much veggies, including kale. It's basically kale salad on rice with a garnish of fish.
The poke was just average. The diced salmons were only couple pieces and the dressing wasn’t enough for the salad. It was dry and not really tasty. It was just ok
The food is fresh but not a great taste it's okayish
The taste is BANG ON. Super healthy and eco-conscious but insanely pricey. The bowl should not cost more than $8 while I paid $14.45. They can be wildly successful if the price is lowered.
Interesting experience.
Food - excellent very healthy 5/5 Service - within 10-15 mins 5/5 Environment - nice and clean 5/5 Price - reasonable price 5/5 Bathroom - close by (mall) Wifi - yes Overall - 5/5
The food was good but a little pricey for what I got. But it is way bettet than typical fast food.
No protein all rice, save your money go somewhere else. Would not recommend
I would rather go for Pokkeritto. With same price there are so much more proteins and 100x tasty
A refreshing option to have in a food court. As someone who works in the building and has very little time for a break I love that I have a tasty, healthy option so close to me. They offer a variety of flavour combinations that you are certain to find one that suits your tastebuds. I literally go here 4 times a week. It’s simple, filling, and delicious. The staff are also a big reason to keep going back. They go above and beyond to remember my usual order and are always super fast even during the lunch rush. I highly recommend this as your new go-to spot at Pacific Centre.
Paid 13.00 for basically a bowl of rice, 3-4 tiny cubes of tuna and 3 edamame. The staff look miserable and half asleep. Would not recommend.

Loved it Quality food at a good price. Healthy and tasty Was smiling at every bite! Paying for quality and not quantity here but it was a perfect lunch size at the cost of any other lunches in the area I will definitely be coming back.
Living in Hawaii I can say that with all these added “veggies” this is not traditional Poke’. Granted they want to make it their own and unique some of this is just WAY too much. Bell peppers!? C’mon now! Kale?? This is the whitest poke I’ve ever seen. What’s next broccoli and cauliflower? *bleh* I am outraged and appalled, although I have never been here my Canadian friends told me of this injustice. “Hula” Poke. Really?? #SaladbowlWithBitsOfFish
Sure it’s good (not great but good) but it’s over priced
Tried the tuna bowl for the $1 ritual promotion. Bowl was pretty heavy on the greens but for a dollar, i’m not complaining. Pretty standard bowl though, nothing too special
Delicious, super friendly and fast service plus they have a very tasty vegan option????
convenient, but it doesn't even taste like poke. It tastes like a rice bowl with a lot of veggies in it with occasional bites of fish.
No customization, food was average. Over price for what it is.
It's not that Hula is awful per se, just that it is so decidedly average. As other reviewers have noted - the real problem with hula is portion size. For $12.00 plus tax, $15.00 for 'double protein' (which includes tofu!) servings should be generous. I counted 6 pieces of salmon in my tiki bowl - and each of them was dice-sized. I didn't have a scale on hand but that would equal roughly 2 ounces of less - like paying $50 for a filet of salmon in a restaurant. For that price I would expect a whole different set of circumstances – a restrained server in a black shirt and apron, a living wall, an acoustic musician with an appropriately subtle playlist, a garnish of ginko froth, a chorus of sea asparagus..
Very tasty and great service... Excited to come back again and again. Great price as well.
Our first time trying Hula!! The poke is very flavourful however we think it is definitely over priced as the portion is really small. The proportion of rice to topping is also unbalanced, too much rice, too little toppings. It is not a bad poke place but there are certainly better ones out there.
Very average. Salmon isn’t as fresh or nice as some other local poke places
Best choice in the food court. You have to try the ancho bowl with the tuna. Tastes great and portion size isnt bad.
Terrible poke. Not alot of customization. Rice was hard. Sauces not flavorful.
I keep giving these guys a chance because they're super conveniently located in the building, but I always end up regretting not walking the extra couple blocks to Pokeritto or Poke Time - Tiny portions About 1/3 the size of other poke place servings for the same price - Minimal customization - unless it's super dead you can't build your own bowl - Even though they finally added a sushi rice option to the menu, about half the time they end up using their terrible "house rice" instead - They dump massive amounts of cilantro on everything even when you ask them not to - Sauces are kinda bland

Always fast , always fresh , SO MUCH BETTER then any of the ones in the west end
Worest Poke place ever, tiny portions, over priced.
This can easily be the worst poke I’ve ever had.
NOWWHERE TO SIT IN YALETOWN FOOD WAS AVERAGE NOTHING SPECIAL THEY NEED TO IMPROVE THERE GAME MUCH MUCH MORE PRICING IS VERY HIGH FOR QUALITY
The food is pretty good. A lot of vegetables which actually taste really good. Could've used a bit more meat, but I didn't mind at all. It certainly was fulfilling, but is a bit expensive for what you get so 4 stars. I liked the technology they used though, would give a virtual 5 stars on modern tech adoption.
a little bit expansive but it's worth it if u are looking for healthy food
They served me a half bowl of poke for $11. when I asked to see more, the staff scoffed and sprinkled a bit more kale. The result is still less than half the bowl of poke! Very ripped off and poor service!
They have a few really good options for plant based eats, both on their "protein" and "style" options. I highly recommend Koko as it has a good amount amount of spice (but not a spicy dish) and the best flavour profile of all the options. But all the options I have tried so far are fresh in taste and delicious.
Tastes good but you can’t just get Poke on its own. $13 for yuzu poke bowl and you’ll be lucky if you get a handful of fish. In Hawaii you cant a whole bowl full of Poke without any sides!
It's home
I was a regular customer but they increased the price twice in 2 months! $15 for a tiny bowl! Won't be going anymore!
Just went to @hulapoke in the Pacific Centre, apparently tons of vegan friendly options. My partner ordered the Koko bowl with tofu, took a big bite assuming it was as advertised, and what looked to be part of the kimchi was raw tuna. We took it back and received nothing but a smile and one “sorry.” We had said “we’re vegan” three annoying separate times at the counter. As we’ve been vegan for three years now, we felt sick instantly (I also had two big bites) - ethically and physically. Stay clear.
I am very happy that they don’t have plastic spoons ????????????
It's a VERY healthy change of menu. Hesitant at first but real glad I tried it. I'd reccomend this choice of Hawaiian food.
Really friendly helpful staff clean approachable definitely a must visit
I had the ahi coconut poke traditional. I thought it was really fresh and good, but the portions size was CONSIDERABLY small especially for the price. The irony is that the debit machine asks for a tip, which I generally do. Not a chance after spending almost $18 for a 1&1/4 cup bowl and a drink. Either up the portion or lower the price.
Fabulous food. Got the two vegan options. The ingredients are fresh. The taste is well balanced. Super. I want more. Well done, keep up this excellent quality. Will come again and again.
Wow!I am amazed my new favourite poke place in downtown! Definitely recommend!!
I’ve had all of their most popular poke bowls: Tiki, Ancho, Yuzu. I absolutely like all of them! Without paying extra, I think their half kale and half rice, with a selection of 1 protein, gives the right amounts. I feel satisfied, not too full, after eating just poke from Hula. Fresh ingredients. Pick-up goes smoothly through my Ritual app.
View from 15th floor is amazing!!
worst poke ive ever had. dont understand how someone could like it honestly.
It's fine. There's certainly a lot better options in the area but if you need poke without leaving the mall, it'll do.
Portions need to be bigger for the price but the Korean inspired vegetarian bowl was delicious.
Cashier has an attitude problem. I asked a simple question about the menu and she was being really rude and getting frustrated at me for not understanding how to order... In the end I just walked away without getting anything. If you're the owner reading this right now u better check with your girl working on may 17th 5:44pm and have a chat with her. She's not fit for customer service jobs.
Best shopping center food court meal ever! Perfectly sized portions, fresh ingredients, fresh tuna and amazing service! You can mix and match exactly as you like your food.
This is probably the worst poke place I’ve ever been to. Tiny portions and expensive. Bad selection of items. I hate pretentious places like these that are all style and no substance. For poke that gives you a good portion and quality, go to Pokerrito. It’s a 5 min walk from this crappy place.
I ordered a tiki poke bowl which had only 5 diced salmon pieces. It was literally smaller than a 10 month's baby's hand if you combined all the pieces. I got even confused if I ordered a vegetarian bowl or just a rice bowl????. Save yourself from the trouble. There are plenty better options in dt.
I've been here 4-5 times since they've opened and have been disappointed every time. The flavor is there but for what you are paying, you don't get full or satisfied. They have some unique flavor options and carb choices such as the kelp noodles or sweet potatoes but every time I visit, I wished I went to Pokerrito down the street. For relatively the same price, you will be full and satisfied there if you don't mind waiting. Also, if you are thinking of getting the Lava iced coffee at Hula, don't. The coconut milk fat separated and you're left with small globs. I couldn't stomach half before chucking it out.
Portions are tiny... pitifully tiny
Paid 13.00 for basically a bowl of rice, 3-4 tiny cubes of salmon and 3-4 edemame. Everything was made well and the sauce was enjoyable, but I definitely felt ripped off. Would definitely not recommend
Amazing! So fresh, delicious, healthy, and fast! A bit pricy for me, but a nice treat! The one at Tsawwassen mills is the only one I’ve visited.
A great place to go for a quick and healthy lunch! As a vegan it can be challenging to find a well balanced option in a food court, but Hula has so many! My favourite is the Cali Veg bowl with coconut rice and tofu, I could (and basically do) get it every day. Everyone that I’ve recommended this place to has also been very pleased with the selection! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful!
Great place.
Good option for a healthy meal. There is a decent selection of options for rice, vegetables, protein, and sauce. The service was also very nice too.
Best Poke in Vancouver. Such fresh ingredients.
I had food at Hula today and it was as usual really really good! However, what made my experience at this place even better was the girl who served my food! Ram was so kind to let me order even when she was in the middle of closing. Thanks to people like her, who care about offering the best service they can, is that we (costumers) feel acknowledged and welcomed here anytime!
Poke can’t get better than this
Was hungry so I decided to try poke for lunch at this place. Was surprised, food was good and service was great!
Wow didnt taste the food but mananged to meet the bible thumping boss ????????????????????????
Different type of Poke. Delicious
Food is great and tasty. Too bad they use plastic containers so my colleagues and I refuse to go there. Looking forward to trying it out again when they switch to more environmental friendly containers
Much better places they messed up an online order and told me to come back in an hour!!! Go to The Poke Guy, 100 times better and just 2 blocks away.
The portion is getting smaller and smaller.
Great place! Nice variety of flavours and love the kelp noodles! Great service.
Loved the food from here today! It may be slightly more expensive than the other food court offerings but it's is way above the rest in terms of a healthy meal. Everything was fresh, portion sized well and the lady serving was super helpful and let us switch up some parts of the meal. We hadn't seen the previous reviews before buying from here but judging from some of the previous reviews only a month ago things have changed. Maybe those bad reviews were what this business needed to up their game.
It was good , it was my first lunch option , but they hire new people, I don’t know why they give us less than before, I spend $15 but Only get a smaller bowl, like $9 mini bowl...less kale and less rice... I used to be full, but now I can’t get enough..have to buy something else after ..it’s happened so many times. I think I won’t come back next time. So sad ...
Yumm
Best poke I’ve had in a really long time. The ahi tuna with the yuzu and coconut rice is my recommendation!
Store hours say it closes at 7pm and I was refused service at 6pm. A little consistency would be nice.
I ordered the Tiki bowl with coconut rice and ahi tuna. It wasnt bad, but it's hard to justify the price for the flavors and portion. Service is okay.
I have ordered from here alot over the past year. It has always been the exact same order except lately I get one with no rice. This afternoon while picking up the order the lady complained that the order is to complicated and to hard to make with all the requests for the lei bowl (removing spicy Peas, adding cilantro and extra fish (which is a option when ordering) ) service itself has always been pretty bad but the food was alright with the options they have.
tried the poke bowl with wild salmon (we got double salmon for and extra $3), sushi rice and the yuzu dressing (total was about $16) which was quite expensive and portions were super small even with the double salmon. Does not taste like your typical poke - it was more like a kale salad with a couple of fish pieces
Not great. Not many options on how to build your poke. I wanted to get brown rice and they don't have any. Not enough sauce so the rice was very dry and not very tasty. Person there was not friendly either. I thought it was a bit pricey for the quality. I would not go back.
Tastes ok, but there's barely any fish! $13 for rice and salad.
