Here you have the feddbacks of people who are using the products of Cypress Mountain (Bowling Alley) near West Vancouver (Canada).
As of day the firm gets a score of 4.5 over 5 and this score is based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that the average of ratings is virtually the best one, and it's based on a very large number of opinions, so we can say that the rating is very reliable. If many people have bothered to give their review when they've done well with the service, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to set tatings when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Bowling Alley is included in the category of Ski resort.
Amazing cross country skiing experience!
I went with my family. It was our 2nd time on a "snowy" mountain. We planned this trip for weeks. Every call we made everyone gave us a different information. We got there and the same thing happened. We bought tickets for the night lodge lights and it was the worst money I have ever spent. The lights exposition wasn't even close to the Capilano exhibition. We were in a really good mood and we enjoyed ourselves companionship... but I will never come back to this mountain. Grouse Mountain for me is much better
Super
Decent place for skiing, they don't disinfect any of the x-country footwear between uses though. Given that the boots gave both of my feet blisters, this seems kind of an issue. I would have the review to 5 stars if a boot cleaning program was implemented. I just feel like it's horrible that someone has to use my rentals after I possibly bled in the them.
Amazing experience
I love cypress
(Translated) Near ski area near Vancouver. There is no need to worry about raining on the mountain. This place is full of snow. It's snowing full of moisture. It is possible to hike in snowy things, cross country and sledding. The parking space is spacious but full on the weekends. You can relax many activities. Disadvantages: Cross Country Renting takes too long. The condition of the equipment is good. The lodge is small and there is not much space for rest. Good access because it's a good place. Snow shoe tour and music night are amazing!
Busy.
A wonderful cross country skiing area with a large number of trails with green (easiest), blue and black (hardest) ratings. You can find snowshoeing too! There is a small recently rebuild lodge where you can get burgers and other refreshments overlooking a lake which freezes over in winter. You don't need a pass to get to the Hollyburn Lodge
(Translated) Really nice view (Original) Muy buena vista
Great place to get out and enjoy the fabulous views of the city, great snowshoeing!
Great trails!
Snow shoes trail is so fun
The Nightwalk is very pretty
Remarkable
Good selection of trails, even for the beginner.
Super snow. Track setter broken again.
Good place for snowshoeing, cross country skiing and snowtubing! Snowtubing costs $25 pp
Great place to hike. Bring lots of water.
Gorgeous views
Beautiful cross country skiing
(Translated) Good place for winter skiing in summer hiking (Original) 冬季滑雪夏季徒步的好地方
Hollyburn snowshoe trail is the most popular stop here for those who are comfortable hiking. The trail has always been busy but not crowded when we go on the weekend on nice days. We have also done just the snowshoeing through the nordic area and had a great time, it is always nice to just get out into the fresh air and the North Shore mountains are perfect for that. Getting a parking spot will be easier for the Cypress nordic area than Seymour because Cypress has a separate parking area.
Absolutely beautiful experience, bring a change of clothes. Don't forget to stop for a coffee after. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, thank you Randy for your help.
What a great fun place for families in the winter. Staff is helpful.
Very easy to visit, great views, awesome trails for snowshoeing.
Excellent powder for snowshoeing. Trails are clearly marked and there is a variety of difficulty levels (easy, moderate, and hard). Staff are friendly and helpful. There's maps to help guide you on the trails. No fire up at the warming hut (covid), but you can sit inside it. Stunning views! It is difficult to find a parking spot (went Dec 30) probably because of Christmas season. We will be back!
Awesome cross country skiing trails, snow shoeing, and tubing. Rentals are affordable and good quality. The lodge has good snacks and meals, plus music on the weekend.
Employee with Cypress told our group of 7 that we weren't welcome at the Nordic Area. Made for an unpleasant situation.
This place is heaven on Earth! I only wish they could open brothers canyon for longer. Almost no flat ground, so have fun climbing! ⛷️
We hiked to the Hollyburn Peak via the Winter Access Trail. It was an approx 3.5 hr hike out and back. The trail had a steep start. Then it was pretty flat in the middle with some minor up and down. The last 1/4 to the top was the most challenging section in terms of the steepness. Remember to dress in layers. Could be cold when you are idling. Heat up quickly as you grind up. Hard packed snow as long as you stayed on the trail. Snow spike was more than sufficient and was easier to navigate than snowshoes in my view. Bring hiking poles if you have. Was helpful to get up and down at the steepest section. Trail was wide by large. Able to keep good distance with the fellow hikers. When you approached the very steep section, you would see a snowman shortly while grinding up. From there, you were about 40 mins away to the top. The top had 360 view. Gorgeous. Birds were curious and friendly. They flew close to you. Coming down the very steep section was challenging but fun. We sat down to slide at some steep section. We were able to walk down too with the aid of the hiking poles. The trail was clearly marked. As far as parking condition goes, we arrived the parking at 8:30am. Good amount of parking spots available. Traffic to the mountain only started to slow down near the Hollyburn Nordic Area entrance.
Not the nicest people today
Great friendly staff, well organized. Tubing was a blast 2hrs is more then enough time.
Awful. The hills are tiny for sledding. This should be free, not 12 dollars per person. The people / staff were awesome and literally the only reason this isn't a one star review. Spend your money at Seymour instead.
Beautiful, lush, great for trekking and birdwatching
They were so helpful with our shooting there. Kids visiting we're having a blast.

A great fun family getaway just so close to the city. Stunning views. Easy access. Book online to avoid sold out time slots. Dress extra warm with cozy socks and good winter boots, gloves, hats and jackets. A must go again for us.

It is all that we have in Vancouver
Beautiful and very few people on the trails! (Despite busy parking area) owners should use a shuttle for timed tubing to take pressure off parking for actual skiers
My family and I have been going to the Cypress Nordic area for 5 years. It is great value (if you buy the season's pass) and a great activity for the family. The terrain is very challenging for Nordic (skate and classic) so we go back again and again to improve and enjoy more. There are many viewpoints that are spectacular. Hollyburn lodge is simple and rustic, just what we need to break the day. Of course, it is not perfect, most notably is the parking lot which is difficult to access due to the amount of traffic and only 1 road. Not knowing if it will take 15 min to drive up or 1 hr is hard with young kids. Also, it can be busy at Hollyburn lodge at times and they only have 1 highchair. I feel it is busier because a lot of people are just walking from the parking lot without a ticket; they could do something about that. Finally, keep in mind that sliding and tubing is expensive (over 30$ for tubing, 16$ for sliding).
Great trails, nice cabin to warmup in.
Can get very busy on weekends but beautiful skiing
Not a great experience. Wouldn’t go back. They should have helmets on the tube run for starters.
Great day Snowshoeing!
Great..price of rentals plus fee for the trails were reasonable.
good hiking trails, good place to gather a group of people. magnificent views.
I went Nordic skiing yesterday and the staff were excellent - helpful, friendly, attentive. The entire staff - parking, tickets, rentals, by the trail entrance, cafe. They helped make the experience special. And of course the snow was great and lodge food delicious. I can’t wait to come back.
Best place to go for the cross-country skiing enthusiasts: close to Vancouver, many scenic trails, astonishing views, different levels - from novice to super experienced, ski and boots rentas. Relatively affordable prices. PROS: all the above + more CONS: base might benefit from better maintenance and mild extension. On a busy day warming hut is too small to accommodate everybody. No firepit. No free wifi.
Beautiful place! Love it so much all year around.
Quiet, easy hiking with nice lakes and views. Be bear aware and bring hiking essentials.
This side of cypress mountain is fantastic for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and for snow tubing. As with the rest of the mountain, parking can be a little bit challenging most of the time, particularly when there has been good snow. With that said if you get there early you should be able to find a spot and enjoy all of the winter activities that you can on this side of the mountain.
Great weekend getaway.
Great snow, fun, varied terrain, lighted trails for night skiing and beautiful vistas, what more could you need!?
Fun place to go with your family and friends. Will surely go next year too ????
Nice place to have fun with your family.
Nice place to enjoy outdoor
Good trail for snowshoeing, not so long but fun.
Tubing is definitely fun activity with kids, but weekends are overcrowded, feel like they overselling tickets. So 3 starts for way to many ppl. I think capacity should be lower. I was waiting for lift over 7 minutes, its much faster just walk uphill. Another 4-5 minutes waiting to slide down. If you can, avoid weekends. Weekday not that busy. Overall fun experience, just that waiting in line not fun
It just one of those awesome places to hang out for a day or so. Great skiing cross country or down hill. Hiking is superb. The staff up there are really nice. Go visit you won't regret.
It's a beautiful place to go when is winter.
Cosy place for a snack and drink after or during ski!
Had a great time. The trails are beautiful, clearly marked and easily accessible. We came on a busy weekend day and it wasn’t too painful to find parking or get rentals. There are an extensive network of snowshoe trails suitable for beginners to the more advanced. It’s super convenient to have a lodge with food and drinks centrally located. The ordering process was a bit disorganized however the food was good and the drinks cold. We definitely plan on coming back again. Rentals must be returned by 430 so ensure to leave yourself enough time. Really beautiful trails which are clearly marked and have little signs with points of interest. Really fun activity and beautiful location.
It is necessary to bring enough money to be able to rent the equipment if you do not have it and if you have a large family
Beautiful trails! Amazing sceneries! Everything organized and functional and clean! Too.o.o many people!!..
Super fun
Powder Snow perfect for snowboarding, tobogganing etc.
Great cross country and skate ski trails with lots of fun thing to do if you get tired
Nice powder! Awesome temp too!!
My sanctuary. We go twice a week and look forward to visiting the area in all seasons.
Great snow conditions.
Great ski. Was the original location for downhill skiing. Hollyburn has a fun apre culture to it.

You need to be on the mountain early to avoid line ups for parking.
Good snowshoeing ????????????️ need outdoor area to have sandwich ???? should have window to serve coffee ☕ in totally outdoor patio❄️ COVID friendly ????
Things have changed over the years, but it remains a great locale for x-country skiing or snow shoeing. Warning: weekends are crazy busy and you may have to park way down the road if the parking lot is full. Be prepared for long waits for ticket sales and rentals too. Can be done online to save some of the hassle.
Great time XC skiing here for the first time. If you are a beginner like me, ask the staff for suggestions or better yet book lessons. I wiped out a few times to start but got the hang of it pretty quickly. Just stick to the green runs. You got this!
For sledding. The rules aren't written or on the website. You only know about it by the lady yelling on the hill. No 2 kids allowed on the same sled. Even if the sled seats 2. Then adults aren't allowed to sled by themselves (or after their kids) even though you paid $10. And you can't watch your kids in the area without paying the $10. And kids under 10 aren't allowed inside by themselves so really for a child under 10 years it costs $20. Not $10. None of these rules are on the website or written visibly on site. Also the website clearly states all ages which is not true because it should say" children only "or it should say "adults allowed only with a child under 10 years".
Hollyburn Lodge is a great place to just hangout and warm up after a few laps of cross country skiing.
Beautiful clear day
So fun for the kids to play and sled!
Snow bars, that's all I need to say...... Go find them!
Beautiful day to take my colleague from Turkey to see some snow. Worth the drive just to see the kids playing.
Stunning place. Loved snow shoe trails.
The skiing is weather dependent but the food and good cheer at the recently renovated Hollyburn Lodge are always fine. Even better at night!
Phenomenal facilities tucked away in the Hollyburn Nordic Area include a renovated heritage cross country chalet stocked with a licensed restaurant to warm you up throughout the day. Careful consideration to the environment and heritage of the area results in a perfect compliment to the breathtaking natural beauty of Cypress Mountain.
Went on a night time snowshoe tour with fondue at the end. It was a great time. I want to go snowshoeing again!
Nice view and fun drive all year round.
Amazing for families, groups and individuals. Can't recommend enough! Great for skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, snow tubing etc and only one hour from the city!
lots of winter activities!.snowshoes, cross country skiing, tubing. So enjoyable
(Translated) Great... (Original) Ótimo...
poor grooming, expensive, busy, small loops
So much fun tubing!!! Great to get outside and play!
Took the kids tubing. Have been up many times for winter and summer activities. Snowshoeing, Nordic trails and tubing, and more just up the road.
Amazing for a intermediate hike - took about 4.5 hours with snow on the ground! Get some friends out and have fun!
Excellent place for skiing.
Very fun and staff are organized.
The nordic area parking was great. Not far to walk to tubing, snow shoe or cross country skiing area. The sun was shining this day so warm (about 3° above 0) Excellent snow conditions. Roads were completely cleared and salted. Looking forward to returning for a ski day on the big hill : )
Very very beautiful with all the snow but if you intend to go site see just know it's all ticket requirements and no place to in enjoy the snow freely. Except half way down the mountain
Love how close to the city it is. Parking is always a pain on weekends, so be aware.
We did the snow tubing before the snow will melt.. My kids had fun even tho its foggy. It was a great experience????
You won't regret! The trail is free to use!
Excellent place to enjoy the nature year round. Every season has its charms. Always friendly and professional staff, making sure protocols are followed.
We went snowshoeing here for the first time. I personally find snowshoeing like like skiing. If you have your own equipment, then it's pretty cheap for just tickets. Once you add rentals it becomes cost prohibitive for families. Snowshoeing itself becomes a expensive walk in the park. That probably colors my review a bit, but I'll try to be objective. The rental process was pretty painless despite being busy. Equipping shoes was self explanatory, and they have trail maps you can take to guide you. I appreciated the layout of the trails with a Cafe Lodge in the middle. This makes it easy to plan when you're going to take a break, have some food and drink and carry on, or go home. The lodge has standard fare. Prices are what you might expect from "the only game in town" venue. They are licensed, with several signature brews to try(cans/bottles). The trails are well marked and variable terrain even at the green level. There were posted at intervals, nature information on what potentially could be observed in the area. Unfortunately, there were too many hikers about, and no wildlife to be found. Overall I found it good exercise, and an ok nature hike for where we walked. We didn't venture into the blue and black areas, so I can't say how good they are.
My kids love the group tubing! It was amazing experience
Great fondue and an epic winter night snowshoeing adventure.
(Translated) Nice place for people with money. Super easy access to Vancouver. Excellent accommodations and restaurants. A wonderful weekend tour. (Original) Lugar de gente bacana e com dinheiro. Beautiful place
Excellent Nordic ski area. Well groomed tracks. Comfortable Lodge. 20 minutes drive from downtown Vancouver..
Tubing was super fun, somewhat long lineups but it was a Saturday so that’s expected
Bit average. Poor signposting.
Another great place for the ski lovers
Still lots of snow and fun!!
Fun and cheap experience to do with family members who do not have skiing experience but want to do some winter activities. You can buy tickets online ahead of time which is nice.
Beautiful snowshoe trails with plentiful options for all fitness levels
(Translated) Appreciating the snow, skiing⛷️ (Original) 赏雪,滑雪⛷️
Beautiful views, even in the fog. The trails were a little icy but not too shabby for a day trip.
Went for a snowshoe hike through the trails. Awesome venue and location, right down to the chalet in amongst the trails. Only drawback is the lack of parking. Had to park onto the roadway and walk 15 minutes to get to the ticket booth. Had I gotten a chance to find a spot in the parking lot, would've been 5 stars.
Loved the experience!
Cheese and chocolate fondue was a hit. We had lots of fresh powder, so snow shoeing was a good work out. The lodge was comfortable, the guides made us feel like royalty, serving food, drinks and entertainment. Scenery was spectacular and winter lights a bonus. Highly recommend the experience.
Winter wonderland....so close to the city
Was such a great experience today- I had an issue come up with the purchase of rentals of skis and the manger was so quick to ensure I was taken care of, went out of their way to be of excellent service I didn’t catch the name but I know they were a manager and maybe accent was Australian? Top service thanks again and thanks for the gloves they are great! :)
Give you a perfect view of Vancouver, North Van, West Van and Lions gate Bridge,, small area for parking compared to weekends that gonna be crowded
Really beautiful area and lots of trails start here for hiking. Just be aware of the conditions and where you are going. It's very easy to get into trouble and not really a good area for just a casual walk. There a public washroom here too that's open in the summer.
Where to begin... Got tickets for snowshoeing with the family for 12-12-2021. We spent 1.5 hours getting to the Cypress to show up to no light set ups and everything completely closed for snowshoeing! Apparently Cypress website was incorrectly buily and gave us tickets to a day they were not set up yet. Still no apologies and still waiting for refunds. Just wow! Horrible customer service.
Great Nordic area! Fabulous snowshoeing and beautifully groomed cross country trails and tours. They also have an awesome snow tubing area complete with tow rope. Its like the 'glamping' of tobogganing. If u don't mind standing in line. It's the lazy man's sledding. You literally sit in your tube, get towed up the mountain to choose 1 of the 4/5 runs to slide down. Not alot of effort and tons of fun. Or you can beat the line and walk up if you wanna get more runs in. The staff here seem to really enjoy their jobs and it shows in their positive attitudes and great people skills. The only downfalls are the time slots are in 2 hour increments which almost doesn't feel long enough. Great for kids and adults alike. I believe riders must be 10 and up though. We visited with 6 kids 13 and under and they had a blast but coulda stayed longer for sure. You can buy tickets for another round if u don't mind forking out another $30. But... parking free.
Such a beautiful view up top. Worth the steep climbs.
Love snowshoeing all the trails!
Great hiking in the winter... marked trails and awesome views!
Cool place
Had a group lesson here, staff were awesome. Really nice and helpful.
Cool place
Impressive place for winter activities
Nice snowshoe and great views at the top
It was ight for a place with snow

Went hiking at hollyburn and it was awesome. They closed the lodge half hour early for no reason however so I had to wait until Vancouver for my after hike beer ...ya I know, boo hoo.
Spectacular 360 degree view of the mountains and city. Can't ask more than that
Lights to the lodge trail a magical lights trek
I mostly go for the night skiing sure to my schedule but it is great for that. Easy to get to. Adequate amounts of rolling terrain. Well lit and reasonably priced tickets. It gets a bit busy when the Hollyburn club are training but there's still lots of room and you certainly don't feel crowded out. Times I have been in the day, there is about 3-4 times more terrain with bigger hills. A good workout!

First snowfall if the year!!! Busy place today
Hollyburn lodge snowshoeing was great.
great place to go snowshoeing or cross country skiing. the parking lot is not too busy and there are also areas to go toboggan and tubing. Each building is distinctly labeled so you know where to go for ticket pickup and rental pickup. The Lights at the Lodge snowshoe event is available now and offer a lot of liberty as to where and how fast you want to do your snowshoeing. Lights are beautiful and really light up the path. Reminder that winter tires are required to drive up to Cypress, M+S is not sufficient.
Spring skiing*****.Sunny, warm, empty of people. Snow a touch slower but otherwise a great experience. This is skiing on a working day. Weekends when it is sunny have been known to be very crowded.
Beautiful moderate trail on Cypress mountain, stunning views as far as Surrey and Coquitlam from the peak, and both well marked and do-able without snowshoes for an average hiker!
Take a lesson with Russ at the Cross Country Ski. He is a highly skilled and very patient instructor who will have you skiing better after 1 lesson!
It was really good! The staff were really polite and nice, and when I lost my glove, they notified me when they found it.
The tubing is the best
Enjoy cross-country. Love the lodge.
Had a lot of fun snowshoeing at night with a lit path. More lights would be great, but fun all the same.
They had fun today the staff was super kind to the kids. My son is autistic and the guy running the tub park had so much patience with him..
Once you get past the hurdle of climbing the mountain and finding a place to park, this is a great place to spend an evening in the snow. Bring lots of patience on weekends and holidays... it can be totally nuts here. Be prepared for pay parking in some lots. ???? Hollyburn lodge is a great place to have a break from snowshoeing. Snow tubing area is pretty fun, but small. Good for a couple hours of fun.
Great spot to go snowshoeing. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Heaps of gear to hire. If you’re coming from Vancouver there’s an easy shuttle you can get
Beautiful e cheaper place(compared with Grouse Mountain). Doesn't have a picnic desk or seats and a good coffee.
Really nice hike, very easy, the beginning is very steep for like the first 2-300 metres and then it's quite flat. It was a cloudy /foggy day but we still got a glimpse of the beautiful view on top. Definitely recommend for a more relaxed hike????
It's a nice place
Very nice snowshoe trail and beautiful lighting at night.
Best time to go for the Light the Lodge is at 4ish. Grab the daylight to walk around before sunset, take as many daylight photos. Regardless of which trails u choose, set your direction to the Hollyburn Lodge, leave enough time to sit down there, relax and enjoy the foods and hot coco. If snow condition is good, that's the best place for kids to do snow fight. Good memory for kids. After that, you shall be able to enjoy the night version of the snow woods ???? Enjoy the magical lights on ur way back. And remember to continue to take more pictures.
Great runs, friendly helpful staff, fun time for everyone so long as you know how to cross country ski. Pick a day when its sunny and kids are in school to avoid the crowds
Not as fast going down the hill with the toboggan, however I haven't tried the skiing
So pretty when there is lots of snow. The trails are well marked and close to home
Good for snow shoeing.
Took the kid sledding there recently. I booked online a day in advance so I had a scheduled and guaranteed time to slide. Great idea because I happened to venture there on an extremely busy day. The traffic crawled for the last 2-3kms before I lucked upon a spot to park. The poor staff at the canteen seemed totally overwhelmed. Other than that some of the facilities like the washrooms seemed totally lacking for the thousands of people there (2 stalls in the mens room and 3 in the womans room). Only advise to people would be to avoid the place on busy long weekends or if possible, all weekends.
Vancouver is lucky to have nordic trails so close to the city. Lots of well lit night skiing. Track setting is minimal, insufficient and inconsistent considering this site receives more skiers than any other nordic area in Canada. Trail system is constrained and loops back on itself likely due to provincial park restrictions on building new trails. Good place if you need a short rip close to the city or are a beginner. Head to Callaghan instead if you have the time.
Evening snow shoeing tour was very well done by the Cypress Mountain team as well as the eats along the way. Do wish I'd waited for the lighter evenings to enjoy the surroundings in a bit more day light - will do that next time!
Had fun tubing! Staff was very helpful and friendly!! A little expensive for the amount we got to tube, but definitely worth the trip up????
Good hiking trail course for intermediate level. Still a few blackflies in summit.nice view of Vancouver. 16 km in round distance.Blueberries are still there.
Beautiful nature. Staff awesome. Had a great day.
Ok
Before renting cross country skies I asked the receptionist, if the classic ski trails are in a good condition and how many trails are open for classic ski. She replied that all trails are open for classic skies, except for the West lake. That was not true at all. Many trails did not have classic ski tracks at all and very few that did had it in awful condition. I was not able to use the skies and had to walk most of the time. If I knew the tracks are non-existing, I would better rent a pair of snowshoes. When I returned the skies to the rental, there was still 2h before the shuttle bus to Vancouver. There was no place to wait for it: nowhere to take cover, nowhere to sit. The Nordic cafe was closed and when I tried walking to the Lodge, I was told that I need to rent some equipment again (skies or snowshoes, otherwise it is not allowed). This is totally ridiculous, because in fact there is a hiking trail starting from the far end of the parching lot, but for some reasons the employees decided not to tell me about it. And here we have: (1) worst ski tracks ever (2) worst customer service in greater Vancouver area (3) bad quality of rental skis . So I will definitely not recommend this to any of my friends
A nice place to explore
Fantastic. The Nordic Skiing is a wonderful experience and skiing at night is just about the best thing you can do outside in winter.
Great snowshoeing
Nice
great place to go
Tried cross country skiing for the first time here. Having no idea how to advance properly we had a difficult time, especially as we entered the black diamond area. All in all an enjoyable experience
It is almost impossible to get some info by phone, and you have to phone them, because their is not info on their website related to my question. Buying discount ticket for silver pass holder takes ages to figure it out.
(Translated) A fun experience which you can do with the whole family (Original) Una experiencia divertida la cual puedes hacer con toda la familia
Excelent place for skiing and snow shoeing. They have paths for diferent experience levels. Only 30 minutes from downtown driving. Equipment for rental available. You can practice with your own equipment at the bottom of the mountain just before the signs without paying.
Today, my family had decided to go sledding on Cypress Mountain. So we went to the ticket office to buy the tickets to go sledding. The lady working at the ticket office said that it was sold out for the whole week. But, she also said that since it was sold out, we can go sledding in one area that is free. So we went there, and went sledding! After about 20 minutes, we saw another lady who worked there, named Kate I think, came to us. She had a bucket of SAND carrying in her arms. Without saying anything, she began dumping the sand with the shovel, on the beautiful white snow! This SHOCKED me! Since it shocked me so much, I asked what she was doing. She said " You're kids are NOT allowed to sled in this RESTRICTED area. And then I said that your coworker said that my family was allowed to sled here. But then she continued pouring the bucket of sand on the clean snow. To me, this was a very cruel action and not humanity. So after she was done putting sand onto the snow, she left. Her actions made my kids cry and get very scared. Once a week, I come to Cypress, and I always pay for the sledding area, but this time it was booked.
Handicapped Parking is a problem
I like here
Wonderful winter wonderland. So picturesque. Service was good. Health and safety protocols were adhered by almost everyone.
It rained.
marvelous
It's a shame they charge you to snowshoe on the trails
Great set of trails and lodge. Staff is very friendly too.
Congested very busy limited parking
Beautiful lit up snowshoe walk for the family. Enjoyed the chance for a snack and drink at the Hollyburn Lodge. Staff was super friendly and diligent on cleaning table. A wonderful evening adventure!
We were here yesterday for tubin and we had a blast. I love the fact that they give you time slots and the lineups were not bad at all. Lots of staff members that were very friendly and super energetic. We were 22 happy people after 2 hours of tubing.
Good ????
Covid-friendly activities in the Nordic area! Went for snow shoeing and had a snack at the Hollyburn Lodge. Make sure you go early as the hot apple cider ran out in the evening!
Awesome trails for snowshoeing
I was in a car line up for 50 min to get to snowshoeing. I would really appreciate some info about a parking lot availability in advance. I could have parked my car earlier on my way to the nordic area when the spots were still available along the road and save some time. When I got to the spot where I had to turn to the nordic area, every car was turned back. If I had not opened my car window to ask a question, I would have been sent back as well. I was lucky to be directed to the parking lot of the nordic area and we had a good time snowshoeing.
Went snow tubing and it was pretty fun. I expected the hill to be much bigger. Better for kids than adults id say
Everything is adequate.
WE HAD FUN. THE RUNS WERE VERY CHALLENGING.

Spectacular experience of showshoeing the lights to the lodge trail. Will definitely do this again next year...
Perfect place to go with family and friends,we had a lot of fun. Friendly environment, good price, watch you neck and butt on the way up if you do tubing
Awesome snowshoe trails.
Way too busy. Parking lot full by 9:00. Had to park down the road. Tubing disorganized and long waits as only 3 sliding areas open.
Such a gem to have a ski resort so close to home! Staffs are friendly and parking is easy.
Sledding 12 $, for a 5 year old who got bored after 2 rides, plus the adult needs to pay 12 $ to accompany the under 6 y old, waste of money, 8 year old asked to never come here
Very special place...today new snow....snowshoe trail well groomed, trees dressed in coats of white. The lights come on about 3:30 and transform the trail into a magical sparkling fairy land. So perfect....you can forget all about covid19 for a little while.
Nice trails in wild conditions
Wet!!! But very fun for the kids!
Love the skiing there. Really cozy cabin.
We got a gift of tickets for Lights To The Lodge. A wonderful experience! The forest covered with snow, the lights, the starry night. Really great. And staff very helpful. Thank you. To be repeated as our new winter tradition.
Nice easy
Light to the lodge was a great evening snowshoeing experience.
This time I visited at the end of spring almost, but doesn't matter when you visit Cypress Mountain beauty of nature always is there to watches and enjoy of course fresh air quality. It's take about half an hour from downtown Vancouver to arrive at the mountain and if you look carful you may see black bear from mid spring to end of summer I seen it but be careful keep your distance, bald eagles are common to locate and watching their magnificent flights. As you see most reviews are about skiing but there is a lot more to Cypress Mountain than just ski if you like biking in the fresh environment even for a few hours this a place to be or just hiking or simply walking around and enjoy the outdoors and panoramic views of howe sound and Vancouver lower mainland and the surrounding nature environment you can see and feel first hand. In summer when sunshine is all over the mountain and long days in the west coast there is multiple trails available for hikers that you can spend long hours in this unique mountain trail just be prepared since many different animals also share this parks with humans enjoy the Cypress Mountain.
They are very kind people..
