Only discovered this place about a week ago. Great to see more decent pubs opening in the Woden area and livening the place up. This has a great outdoor seating area for the warmer weather, but also has a cool downstairs sports bar with pool table, modified bowling alley and pinball machines. Had a session here recently with some friends and has a great friendly vibe. Will definitely be back.

Been here twice - once for food and once for drinks. The food was tasty and the staff were attentive. The downstairs area was a great spot to drink a beer and watch the cricket. A much needed addition to Woden.

Wonderful new addition to Woden. Great beer (I tried the Alby, which was light and refreshing) good food (the chicken burger was excellent while the mushroom burger was just average) and the concept is outstanding. Outdoor seating is surrounded by jasmine and the retro 80s music is fun. In the basement is a room with mini bowling alleys, pool tables and pinball machines. We'll be back!

So i like the way you order food and drinks i got beer bated fish and chips it took like 45 minutes was not impressed because my mate got his food in like 15 minutes the fish was very salty don't recommend but the mini bowling was fun i like how you can play different games

Went there for lunch. It was not too busy and therefore the staff were attentive and kind. Really lovely ambience and chill vibes. You order on the table which is very easy through the app or by tapping your phone - no need for unhygienic paper menus. Yummy chicken lollipops and yhe chicken main. The pizzas are traditional and I think we just ordered one which probably didn't suit our tastes but a great experience otherwise. Iced coffee was also delicious. I hope they remain chill and friendly and quick good service.

This is such a fun place! The ball game and pool table were awesome. The staff were lovely. And the fitout is just gorgeous. I will definitely be back to try out the food, it looks great. Also you can order and pay from your table which is a brilliant idea. So nice to have such a funky place in Woden

The Alby is beautifully well-appointed and the decor is brilliant. On face value it's a jewel in Woden's crown. Unfortunately there were some severe customer service issues when I popped in for dinner and drinks on Friday January 28, 2022 with a couple friends. I think this place has been around for a few months so you'd think they would have sorted out any major teething issues by now. We ordered using the QR code on our table (#52 from memory) and we were left waiting over 30 minutes for our jug of dark & stormy to arrive. When the jug did arrive it contained several fruit flies (delicious) and the young gentleman serving us said that he'd bring a replacement jug...however this took another 30 minutes, meaning we were left waiting for an hour total for one drink. This was despite multiple follow-ups and courtesy responses "yea i'll get that right away". This particular staff member didn't seem to care one way or another as he also mentioned that he would bring us a second jug for free by way of apology but this never occurred (after another 30 minutes we explained the situation to another staff member and he graciously brought the second jug out very quickly). The food also took the best part of an hour to come out. My advice would be that if this place is even moderately busy you should avoid ordering drinks from the QR code system and just walk to the bar and order instead. This should alleviate any big delays in getting your drinks. The food is good quality for pub style food, albeit a little overpriced. I'm hoping the customer service improves in future as this place has a lot of potential to make Woden proud.
