I love this place. The service is fantastic. It's a great alternative to national breakfast chains. The breakfasts are wonderful. I tried waffles, pancakes, Benis and even the surprise. All were great. The servings are hearty.

I have been wanting to go for brunch here for a long time. And OMG the food is so good, portions are big and prices are fair. Lots of people (obviously) but over all super satisfied with the food and the service. Great place for brunch!!

This is the second time we have eaten here and both times when I finished my meal I just wished that I was still hungry so that I could order the same thing again. We had the tacos and the bacon eggs the first time and the waffles and the hallunimati the second time. The somatoe jam brought a tear to my eye. It was so very, very yummy. I omitted the english muffin from the egg dish however it comes with an english muffin as well.

Scott greeted us at the door with the enthusiasm of a military bride seeing her husband return unharmed from War. His customer service was impeccable and was also very efficient. Our server jacquelin was also amazing and effortlessly utilized gender neutral pronouns (we use gendered pronouns but as a trans woman I understand the importance of never assuming and being preventative ). The food was absolutely amazing, my boyfriend loved his hash mash and I loved my carefully selected combination of side dishes. Portions are huge i couldn't even finish it because I’m a model. My boyfriend didn’t get any gross stuff in his handlebar mustache and the bill was totally reasonable. Amazing service, exceptional staff, groovy interior, and convenient location. Thanks a lot spoons, I’ll fork with you anytime.

Great little diner in Victoria. They have a great selection of breakfast and lunch items. I usually go for their "Prusa" option which is a random savoury meal cooked up. I always get that when I'm here and have never been disappointed. If you're more of a sweet tooth there is the sweet option.

wow... we came here last minute and were not disappointed whatsoever. gluten free friends, they have gf options! the gluten free english muffins for the eggs bennies were delicious. boyfriend ordered the prusa (took the risk) and he was so happy with it. everything was so delicious. the staff were absolutely wonderful, we chatted with our waitress while she checked up on us throughout the meal and she was so lovely. went above and beyond. such a cute little spot too, they really have made the best out of these covid times. the outdoor patio was beautiful.

Likely because of how busy it was, the service was quite slow and it took around 30 minutes for us to be served. But the food and quantity is ????????

I heard about this diner from a friend, so we decided to check it out. It was a weekend and it was very busy, but the servers were very good, the brewed coffee was good for a diner and the food...the food was amazing. I ordered the chicken and waffles and added 2 soft poached ages along with a side of hollandaise. Without any exaggeration, it was the most delicious brunch food I have had this year!

I am not a breakfast person but my goodness was breakfast delicious here! It has an adorable diner atmosphere with friendly and outgoing staff. Service was quick, and our food exceeded our expectations. Portions were very large, which made it well worth the money, and the quality sure met the quantity. Will definitely be back here when back in Victoria!

After only eating a Sausage and Egg McMuffin before boarding a ferry to Vancouver Island in the late morn, I was a hungry Poo and really not too picky, being already seriously late for lunch. After seeing the positive reviews on this place, Google Maps lead us on our way. With a nice outdoor patio area attached, this 50's diner had a bright welcoming decor, super friendly staff, and most importantly great food to match! First off, the chocolate/peanut butter milkshakes are simply THE BEST around, period. We ordered the Bangkok Benny and the Taylor Swiss Burger, which came with their bacon cheeseburger soup of the day. Yes, the soup doesn't sound appealing but somehow it works. The Benny was real good with a perfectly melty poached egg, and the burger was fantastic. They use a lot of rosemary in their patty, which was different from other popular burger joints in such a good way! The wonderful food, friendly service, and great prices that didn't feel like a tourist trap makes Prince Poo give this place 2 chopsticks up!

Lovely hidden gem in Victoria! This place gives you throwback diner vibes. The best bang for you buck without having to sacrifice quality. ???? The servers were great and we could barely finish our food. I ordered the 'Saxe Point Berry Stack' and my friend ordered the 'Bailey's Benny' both dishes were great and came out of the kitchen in a timely manner.

Great breakfast wrap, however both mine and my partners hash browns were very overdone. It’s to bad the chef hadn’t just redone them as they were visibly overdone.

Went for my birthday and it was really nice on the patio! They had blankets on the chairs in case it got cold and they were really soft. I got one of the hash bowls and they’re massive, I don’t know if they don’t do half sizes anymore but it’s always nice to bring up food for later :) I missed coming here for brunch so I was super happy to come back!

Outstanding food and great service! The waffles will put you in a coma. The Portobello eggs Benny was one of the best things I've ever eaten. First rate food with reasonable prices. (even the breakfast sausages were excellent)

Spoons does not disappoint! Great customer service, great atmosphere, great food, great prices for the portions! The only drawback (and it's still getting a five star regardless), is that it can be a bit loud in there, as it's usually pretty busy in there. To be expected! And it's not loud enough that you need to yell to your dining partner to be heard, either.

A very popular place to eat. Breakfast menu is good..prices are very reasonable and portions are large. Food is very tasty pancakes are good size. Several different types of hash that have lots of veggies, pan fried potatoes and depending on the one ordered, chicken, beef or sausage. Eggs Benny are good with home made sauce and home fries. Eggs are cooked to order. Huevos rancheros is tasty. Refried beans are slightly more salty than I care for but eggs were cooked to order. Guacamole was very tasty. Coffee is very good and bottomless. There is a line up but it moves quickly. Service was awesome. Server was very pleasant and efficient. She checked in with the table but did not hover. We will definitely go back to try more selections. There is a lunch menu but it was not checked out this time.

One of the best and most creative places for eggs Benny in Victoria! Can get gluten free bennys but the hollandaise is apparently under the toaster so can have contamination, and the only side I believe is gluten free is the fresh fruit

DEC 2021 - 2nd Visit - 5stars, revisited earlier before 9am. Service super friendly and food was excellent, waffles, french toast big sizes be prepared to take some home ❤ . Again parking on side of building JUNE 2021 - 4stars Great food and friendly service. Expect to wait, they are popular so allow 15 to 20 minutes but totally worth the wait. Convenient outdoor carparking area.
