One of the only places you can still get someone to fit you properly. Not a huge selection but bigger than I expected for the store's size, and they have narrow to very wide. Liked them enough to go back and wasn't disappointed.

The staff at location has gone way downhill. Whoever is in charge of hiring should vastly reassess their process. I’ve purchased many pairs of running shoes over the years here as new balance shoes fit me well and the staff historically was great. However over my last two visits (and two different staff members) it was clear they knew next to nothing about running shoes. Simple questions on things like drop could not be answered. I was pointed at shoes not even designed for running. I won’t shop here again.

I was very pleased with the service and knowledge this individual had at this store..I have sustained a foot injury which has kept me away from my job near 2 years. Having said that, we truly need our feet and the most important thing is wearing proper footwear customized to our own unique qualities! I waited a little bit, but the store was very busy when I arrived..one worked acknowledged ne and said he would have someone take care of me.. he was polite and sure enough, someone soon came to help... his name is Lewis and he was wonderful !! He listened to my personal story and then had my feet analyzed with their special IN STORE MACHINE. Which takes images of your feet, pressure points, etc.. how amazing is that! Based on results, I would imagine that it Greg is out the staff quite well in tailoring down s couple of different options. Lewis KNEW his stuff... he came up with the different runners. They all were pretty great but one pair in particular really stood out and was a newer arrival for New Balance.. it provided me huge amount of cushioning yet felt very secure on my foot, almost like the perfect security blanket.. Thanks so much Lewis, keep up the great customer service and knowledge, it shows!!

I would leave more than 5 stars if I could. I went in with my son who notoriously has a very tough time finding shoes that work for him. We were helped by Shariff who, at every step of the way, was focused on finding a solution. After a lot of work, Shariff found a creative solution that not only worked, but my son walked out of there and was SO happy! This is now our shoe store! Fabulous customer service, great location and amazing quality products. I decided to purchase a new pair of shoes to replace the ones that I picked up from the same location around nine years ago. Despite strenuous and consistent use, these shoes persisted with astounding durability, only requiring new laces around the seven year mark. The shoes were not even close to worn out but I was so impressed with their longevity that I decided to retire them as a memento. A young sales associate by the name of Nate suggested a beautiful blue pair of Fresh Foam 880's that fell perfectly within my budget. I've been using them at the gym for the last couple of weeks and so far they have been a great improvement. Overall, I would definitely recommend this store and these products to a friend. 5/5

What drew me into this store was the people that worked there. What was most impressive was even during the pandemic, the energy of the employees were quite uplifting and positive. I've always been a fan of NB shoes... and I love their selection. At the time I went, there was even a clearance section with legit deals to be found if you are under budget. The entire shopping experience was warm and welcoming... I imagine the shoe retail world is a tough one where online shopping has turned a retail store into a "try it on - before ordering online elsewhere"... but with this much VIBE in this shop.. why would you? Nathan was very friendly helping me. I really appreciated not being questioned about my athletic level or purpose of buying a particular shoe... if you are looking for a lifestyle shoe or something to blaze the trail - they got it all. Since getting my last NB, I do find myself taking a lot of photos of my shoes though - be warned NB are fire.

I own 6 pairs of New Balance shoes and I have owned 20+. I bought them at New Balance Victoria. The staff at New Balance Victoria are long-standing. They know their product line, shoe construction and shoe features inside out. They have helped me improve the stability in my feet and they understand my gait and my walking dynamics. They do good work in the community too! They serve under-served populations that need better footwear to help improve quality of life. Good footwear can reduce stress and this can lead to a better quality of life. New Balance has many half-sizes and widths. The sign outside the store showing all sizes of feet is true. Fair, professional, positive and quality products. I cannot recommend this store enough!

Six weeks ago I came into the New Balance store downtown. I was given a computerized 3D shoe fit analysis. Aiden advised I had a high arch with pronation. He recommended a stability shoe and I bought a wider shoe as my toes felt more comfortable. Several weeks later, after a step class at my gym, I started having pain I my arches and had to start icing them and reduce my activity. I also later had a fall in these shoes and x ray showed detached fracture in one foot. I visited Frontrunners and took off my socks. The sales clerk pointed out discoloration in some toes and all toes had pressure marks as well. It became obvious these shoes were not right for my feet. They said I need a more neutral shoe due to the high arches and underpronation. I did some research online and sure enough they were right. I did the wet test to confirm high arches as well. I immediately stopped wearing the New Balance sneakers. The sales clerk at New Balance prescribed the wrong shoes for me! Now I can't even get a refund as their receipt days they can only be returned for refund in new condition! I am very disappointed and feel their staff need more education and training! Update on review: I went into New Balance today and obtained a "no hassle refund" even though it was over 45 days and the shoes were worn outside. This company stands by their service and products! I was very pleased with their superb customer service.

I could have added even more stars. What a great experience with Kyle the pedorthist. What a great asset he is to his company. I made an appointment because I have tendinitis in one heel and needed someone that could address my special need. Kyle thoroughly examined my gait and the mechanics of my foot. Kyle also examined the wear of my present shoes and saw the problem. Then Kyle recommended the appropriate shoes. I walked out with two pair and on sale at that. Highly recommend people making appointment with Kyle to get the right fit for their special feet.

I love this store because I wear size 5 wide shoes and I cannot buy that at places like sports check etc. I know this new balance store will always have something that will fit me. If they do not have the shoe I want in store, they will order them in. I have bought some very comfortable shoes there. The last pair not so much. I need good shoes being a health care worker so I usually don't go for their cheaper ones. The last pair I paid 190 including tax. More than I wanted to spend but I can't cheap out on shoes. I wore them inside first and they seemed good. I wore them to work and my feet got sore. I gave the shoes a few days to wear in and my feet are still sore 3 weeks later. The shoes are the 840v4 and they look nice. The store itself is great but the shoes don't seem as good as they used to be a few years back. They have cushioning in weird places inside. Overall, I am pleased that they have my size but for that price they should have been amazingly comfortable not make my feet ache. I am disappointed with my new shoes. Update on my review: I have changed it to 5 stars as I was contacted by the store and told about their 45 day guarantee on the shoes. I was offered to trade them in so I did. Thank you very much new balance Victoria. I ended up going for extra wide shoe in the 880. Also I had to go up half a size so I think these new models run a little small but I think these will be great for my feet. Thanks again for the great service.

I had suffered from chronic foot pain for years and could barley stand after being on my feet for more than a few hours. So when Rene at the New Balance Victoria store recommended that I try the 1300's I was very skeptical. That night I had a 6 hour fundraising shift that required me to be on my feet almost the entire time so I put the 1300's on and off I went. When I got home that night and took of my shoes for the first time in longer then I could remember I had little to no foot pain and the next morning when I would normally be hobbling around there was still almost no pain. Fast forward a year I returned to NB and Rene for another pair of 1300's after walking almost 2500km with little to no pain. Thank you so much Rene for recommending the 1300's and helping me to find my feet again.
