Neat place, comfy, cheap food but their use of pepper is overwhelming. we had poutine that was inedible because it had a pound of pepper on it. When I told the waitress, she said "ya, most people who come in ask for no pepper". So clearly we weren't the only ones who didn't like how much they use. We still had to pay for it too. Had we known that they don't know how to use black pepper in the right quantity, we too would have said "HOLD THE PEPPER".

Food is great, service is usually good except on occasion. I find the slower it is the less service you get for some reason. Prices are fantastic. The bar staff is always friendly even when busy.

Great food, super cheap prices and a cool atmosphere. The staff is knowlegable and friendly, sometimes have to wait a bit for food, but keep in mind you're paying 5$! Definitely one of my favorite places to go! A great place to grab grab a cheap lunch during the day, and a great place to party at night! The blend of hip hop, pop and classic rock music keeps things fresh, while the staff provide a great time with awesome drinks. The music videos for the accompanying songs are played on the TV which is also pretty cool.

For the third time that we went to that place we got the exact same treatment which is all the time the waiters are super rude and they make you feel like you're taking their time to answer questions about their products and their food and what surprised us most that me and my sister were both in our 30s I mean we look sort of almost to the forest we look old and we got ID every time it's I get it for younger people it might be an issue that they have to make sure that they're old enough for alcohol but for grown up people it's not so for us it was like weird. and the part that where the music is super super loud to the part that if you want to say something to someone you have to scream it up and it's kind of you feel like you're rude in a way because you're super loud lolas for me I was visit I was visiting Victoria so I don't think I would ever go to it again but as for my sister she loved it she just mouth them back and she's okay with it

Food is excellent and price is great. Only issue I ever have here is the music is often too loud in the evening. The level would be fine in a club, but not a restaurant where talking is a necessity, even if it's just to order.

OMG!!! I couldnt believe how good the food was! Only 6 bucks an item on the menu, I ordered the ceasar salad and beef dip. ((BEST beef dip I have ever ordered in a restaurant!!) The portions were more than I thot we wud get and I wasnt stuffed but was satiated. Its a younger crowd there and the music was deafening (went on a weekend) so will have to go again during the day. Love this place!! Edit: the food was good but the rats in the kitchen are terrifying. I have heard this a few times now but didn't pay any attention to that... since this IS victoria and it's by the water. However recently I saw a guy posted a pic online in rant qnd rave victoria of a cockroach that was on his table. It was in the outside patio but STILL. He said the staff just laughed about it. WHAT!??!!? NEVER GOING BACK now for sure.

Food was good and priced very well for what you got. I got the grilled cheese, friend got the avocado tacos. They came out in a reasonable time but the waitress could tell we were rushed to make our ferry and she comped our meal. Great customer service!

UPDATE: Eventually I got in contact with the team and they offered me 100$ to pay for repairs. However the coat fabric and filling was not available. Replacing the whole coat cost more than 100$ so I took what I could get. I brushed up against their heater last week for literally seconds and CAUGHT FIRE, and it RUINED my coat!!!! I spoke to a manager who gave me her email on a piece of paper which got lost, so I called them a million times the next day, no answer, left a message, emails, NOTHING. Details in pictures. DO NOT GO HERE. What if it was a child or someone’s bare skin?????? I cannot believe this place!!

Have been going to this location for years. Really saddened by how the quality of service has gone down. Sat in at the bar two weeks ago and apparently talking to one another was more important than serving the customers. Ordered through Uber eats and items were missed. Not sure what has happened to cause the quality of service to change so much!

Great place! Good food at a super reasonable price. You get more than what you pay for! That said do keep in mind that portions are a little small. Between my girlfriend and I we usually get 3 items to share and are happy. Not bad for $5.95 per item!

Great food and great ambiance. The music maybe loud combined with lots of people at certain times. That being said, going during less peak times makes it easy enough to have a great conversation with friends. Staff is very friendly and approachable. Food, however, does take a bit of time to come out. But for the price and taste also it is easy enough to order a drink. So just have fun with the person or people you're with, ends up more than making up for the slower service for food.

It's fine? The food is as cheap as the prices. It's nice for when you still want to go out but you're on a small budget. Except drinks, definitely not cheap drinks. They only accept cash or credit, so that's a bit important to know. The service could be better.

I wasn't even with anyone So I figured I could get a drink or two and some food in a semi reasonable time but I guess I wasn't important enough and the staff would rather socialize during social distancing one word .dopee edited for much better experience

The food is good but they don’t accept debit card which is so weird first of all because it’s a good point for their restaurant if people prefer to pay with their debit card rather than credit card! Second of all I was shook why the waitress didn’t tell us they don’t accept debit card and told me right after she brought the bill! Then she told me to use the ATM machine they put in the corner of the restaurant which charged me more than any other ATM machines that I ever used in my life!!! (Just make sure you take your credit card or cash with you when you go there).

Food was average, service was lack luster. The entire staff looked more concerned about the drinking off the clock staff. Awkward flirting between all of them gave us some funny entertainment. However, they were all very close which shows good staff moral. Little less gym, tan, laundry and more work would make this place great.

Delicious food; everything on the menu is $4.95. They also have long opening hours, and the staff is fun. Only con is extremely loud music, which makes it tough to hold a conversation, but if you go in knowing what it's about, it does what it does really well. Also cash or credit only. Would recommend!

My two girlfriends and I arrived at 9:15 pm on a Friday night. Two younger girls arrived before us. The host told them, “Wait aside here two minutes, and we will clear off a table for you.” They were seated within 5 minutes. We were next at the host stand. We asked the host, “Table for three,” to which he responded, “The wait is about 45-60 minutes, there are 49 people in front of you.” We looked around to see, at minimum, three empty tables. When we asked about the three empty seats at the bar top, he said, “Those seats are placeholders so people don’t sit there and waitresses have access.” He then proceeded to say, “There are three empty seats at the back corner of the bar top, but you’ll risk not getting a table.” As three young professionals dressed with not much skin exposed, it appeared evident we were discriminated against, whether it be based on age or our conservative clothing choices. The scene in the area seemed very young, and we felt as though the way we appeared impacted our ability to receive services. Absolutely disgusting.

I had a really poor experience here a few months back. Me and a table of my friends ordered shots and after they were brought to the table the staff member watched and waited for us to be done. A little weird but we just ignored it and did them on our own time. Then he was in such a rush to clean it up he was knocking over other glasses and spilled a daiquiri on my friend (who was unfortunately wearing white pants) he said sorry and left. Later he came back with some napkins and said he would buy her a shot to make up for it? Very strange and she declined and said she didn't want one, she wanted her drink that was spilled (and a few dollars more) to be taken off her bill. Instead he brought her another daiquiri which she had to pay for. The last thing she wanted to do was drink that with soaked stained pants so overall it was a bust. I know this isn't a reflection of the staff (most of which were lovely) but it was such an odd experience we felt the need to leave a review.

Food was great, price was fantastic. The interior is quite nice and there is a patio. My only issue is that the service was horrendous. We were sitting on the patio and ended up being ignored the whole time. Our waitress visited 4 times, once to ask us drinks, once to bring the drinks and take our order, once to bring the bills, and the final time to pay. I guess refills weren't an option. I will be back to try again as food was good, and I would recommend trying the place. Just expect to be ignored.

Very hip and interesting layout. The food here is all the same price. Each dish, different things, same price. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is tapas style essentially, but you should order 2 - 3 items to make it a meal. The little burgers were very good and everything else looked like it fit into the same category. Would reccomend. *note- there is no furniture sold here.

I got the Chaing Mei bowl with chicken. I came in really hungry. The wait time for the food was fast, the service was good, and EVERYTHING was under 5.99$ Cad. The bowl was not huge, but reasonably sized, and the chicken is the best meat I have ever tasted. No matter what meal you order, always get a side of chicken there. The bowl had a good mixture of vegetables, noodles and spices. My whole table all agreed that they were full by the time we were done, and I am looking forward to going back soon. P.S. There is a good parking lot that is a few buildings up the street if you are looking for parking. I believe that you get the first hour of parking free, and it is free Saturdays.

Good cheap eats. Always surprised at the quality of the food when you consider it is cheaper then most fast food restaurants. The Onion rings are delicious. Beef dip is on par with most pubs though smaller. Donuts with dipping sauce are quite good.

I've been to many Warehouse locations and I highly recommend the chicken tenders and substitute the fries for yam fries. I found our server was nice but pretty distracted by chatting up other tables then seldom even walk by our table. I don't mind though you can't really expect excellent service when your food is a steal at $5.99.

Great staff and the prices out-compete the fast (junk) food franchises. The meal took a little while to arrive, but this just tells that the food is prepared fresh when ordered and not pre-set up and reheated in the nuker. We had the potato skins which were really good (not quite the blast from the past - but excellent nonetheless) and the fish tacos which were excellent. Top off with a reasonably priced and very tasty pint. will return to sample the other items on the menu.

Very happy with the sunday eating experience I had here. Thought the value was very good. A cocktail for about $7, $8 for a burger & fries and a taco chips (good chips too!) and spinach dip for about $7 as well. Friendly service, music there but not too loud. Just a nice experience at a good price.

Cheap food, everything is $5.95. The food isnt spectacular but for the price it's decent. Drinks were fairly priced as well, and the 'powerhour' deal on beers is amazing. However, they dont accept debit (???), and a 20% tip will be automatically added to your bill if you are in a group of 4 or more.

You get the experience you pay for. Very loud music. Cheap food, everything is around $5, but looks pretty nice when it comes out. A good place to stop in if you’re wallet is on lockdown. They’re noodle bowl is really good and comes with lots of veggies considering what you pay. A big heads up that they do not take debit! There is an ATM but it charges you an additional $1.50. This is a popular spot on weekends for anyone partying downtown.

Usually great but tonight the service was lacking. Our server couldn't seem to keep organized with the food and bills - I think she was new. At the end of the night, an automatic gratuity was added to the bill due to us having a group of 5 which after the mediocre service seemed in poor taste. Also, not accepting debit in 2019 is a bummer, especially for a university town in which many young people are patrons.

We we're in Victoria for the Marathon and went to several pubs in town and this was our favorite! $5.95 for everything on the food menu and it was all delicious. The drinks were a great price, I recommend the PB&J. The service was excellent as well, friendly, fast, and fun. As to the reviews that complain about it being too loud later at night, we had no trouble talking to each other across our table on a Saturday night around 10pm. We will definitely be coming back to El Furniture Warehouse next year for the marathon and any other time we visit Victoria.

The food was small portioned and my beef dip on a round bun was very dry and then I was informed after my meal it was only cash or credit and they have a bank machine to withdraw money I wasn't pleased about this I feel they should let you know before you sit down to eat the food wasn't that great the prices were ok but I probably won't be returning

Came here last night, waited about 25 minutes for a table for two it was packed so they asked everyone waiting for a table to wait outside as they were over capacity. Once we were seated they came and asked what we wanted to drink i got an iced tea which came very quickly, but my friend asked for a glass of water which took about 20 minutes to get. We ordered our food then we waited for our food for another hour once we got our food it was good, i substituted my fries for a poutine it was extremely salty (over the top) the burger was good though my friend got soft taco's there were 3 small soft taco's he said they were good and for $4.95 you really can't go wrong. Very loud and lively atmosphere, will definitely be returning highly recommended just make sure you have some time.

$2 an item for take out? Yes short staffed, but no one answering the phone or messages. Change your message to say the name of the restaurant for one thing, say we don't take reservations and you have to come in to order. Waited 1/2 for someone to call me back. Staff had no clue that I even called, or showed any interest. I ordered in person so you got paid more because Ubereats takes a huge cut. Won't do back. Cinnamon Donuts with Toffee sauce, but you have to pay extra for the toffee?!!!!

Food is alright to good... wings were served cold, waited to get menus and water about 10 mins after being seated. Had to call them to take our order. 45-50 minutes to get wings, beef dip and hamburger at 5pm. I asked our waiter if they were short staffed and he said it was the cross shift. Attuides were fine It seem no one is managing the floor. Cool decor, hip lots of potential if managed right. We have gone a 4 or 5 times now because my 16 year daughter likes it. It does not professionally managed. Not sure how they will adjust to the crowds of tourists to come if the idea is cheap good food in an hour... Chef Ramsey on this one please.

You can tell that there are parts of the service and establishment where they needed to cut corners in order to provide the great food for the price. We went at 11:30 just after opening and it wasn't busy at all. I really enjoyed my burger and poutine as well as my salad. Highly recommended for the price.

I was surprised by how big the portions were for everything on the menu (food) only being $5.95. Not only were the prices cheap, but the food was good! Also, only cash or credit there so keep that in mind. Children are allowed as well, so that's too. It's pretty loud in there so you can't hear them screaming so that's a plus too! Oh and staff was super friendly!

When we arrived. Their was food scraps all over the bench. Had to pull out a shirt from bag to wipe off the food scraps off the bench and so I could sit on a dry bench. Most of the servers/bar tenders did not use their face masks properly. Our server served our food with mask under chin, not covering mouth or nose (have photos). We took pictures of 5 other servers/bar tenders doing the same thing. If management is going to tell their staff to wear a mask. They should enforce the actual proper use of the mask otherwise it is pointless to have it as a rule for staff. One of the staff members took their mask off behind the bar. Threw it at another employee, then they picked it up off the ground and put it back under their nose. The food was decent and drinks were good. There were 2 girls who kept their masks on properly and displayed high professionalism in following their business rules of having a mask on.

Great food quality for the price. Braised beef spaghetti was better than pasta at most pubs. Fish tacos were tasty, but could have used some more acid in the slaw or pickled onions. Burger was fine (a pickle would have made it better) and they do the fries well. Green apple quinoa salad was quite good too. Portion size was great for the price. Service was a little too slow for a business lunch, but it did seem busy inside.

Awesome food in a shoebox! Very cozy with good food at very reasonable prices on food! Quick service and attentative staff make this a great place to go, as long as you can deal with a bit of noise. The music is (at least for me) a mix of guilty pleasures and other throwbacks I missed hearing!

Kinda feels like the servers are in a competition to see who can do the least amount of work. Arrived late at our AirBnB and this was the only thing open so we went to get some dinner and after placing an order (a sandwich from the menu that the hostess told us they didn't have until we showed her) we sat outside for 40 mins until we got our food. In that time span we watched the hostess go for three smoke breaks in the back alley with her buds from the bar, walk outside a few times to rough house with her friends on the sidewalk. We took one of those opportunities to ask her about the food because we were seeing others that had arrived after us get their takeout already. She asked us what we ordered again cause she didn't remember. She came back 15 mins later with our meal and said it had been sitting out for a long while now. Really didn't have to volunteer that information but thanks for solidifying my opinion of the place.

Always a busy happening place. Enjoyed eating outside this summer. Food has always been good and the prices very reasonable, service mostly very good. Most of the time my experience overall has been very good. Unfortunately last time I went there was a large group of rowdy guys that were so loud and obnoxiously drunk they ruined any hope of enjoying my meal. We moved tables to get away but it didn't make much difference. The walls are brick so the acoustics don't help either. This isn't the first time there's been drunk loud people allowed to carry on at lunchtime here either. Management need to decide what kind of a restaurant they're running. Its not only annoying, its frightening for other patrons not knowing if things are going to get nasty. Lastly, could really do without the screens everywhere with skateboarding videos. Ditch the screens, they're really unnecessary.

I was surprised at how the restaurant was not full during lunch given the reasonable price, good food and handy location until I realized anyone with only a 1 hour lunch would not have time to eat here with the slow service. I got there at 11:15 am hoping to miss the rush and get food quickly but still did not get out if there until after 12:30. Trying to chat with my lunch companion was almost impossible as the music was way too loud to have a conversation without shouting (which the neighbouring table was doing which just made it worse). I have been there multiple times and unfortunately the music volume and slow service is the norm. My food was not even hot when I got it, like it sat out for 5 minutes before being brought out. 4 stars for food and price, 2 stars because of the too loud noise and impossibility of getting in and out in under an hour. I was hoping that once they had been open a few months and the staff was trained the speed would improve but it has stayed pretty well exactly the same.

El Furniture is a chill place. With music and chatter, the atmosphere is pretty good for a bar. The food is good, sometimes interesting combinations are found, but I suggest trying them before saying you don't like them. Portions are big enough to share with 2-3 people and the prices are pretty fair for that portion. Good place for groups. Take out is an option. Very polite servers. 10/10 I would recommend.

We had a pretty awful experience here last night. It was quite difficult to get the attention of our server, and she was visibly under the influence of something. We had 4 main errors. We received a poutine instead of the ribs, my friend waited over 20 minutes for her beer, her pasta dish came out 15 minutes later then the rest of our food (when she put it down she explained that "it always takes the longest" which doesn't make sense), and our friend didn't get his onion rings. She kept saying "oh sorry I forgot" or other excuses. She was also not very friendly and seemed to not really care about the fact that things got messed up. At the end of all of it, our bills were also messed up. Will not be returning.

Its a bit presumptuous to autograt for 20% tip, I think that the customer knows to tip and that when 20% is earned it will be given. Get a Debit machine, for a place that is this busy it just silly to not have that as an option. I was impressed with the lower food costs of various dishes. The alcoholic drinks are quite high priced according to what other people tell me. Some people have issues with poor food server behavior and attitude, but I was fortunate to get one of the friendly and attentive servers for my lunch with a friend. The server quality depends on what day, what hour, and who is assigned to work the shift.

I would definitely go back here. You get exactly what you pay for at $5 a plate. The service is slower than some places, but not bad—remember you only payed $5. Food is not as good as you might get if you payed $12 for it, but it's totally worth $5. If you want to be wowed go somewhere else, if you just want some decent food that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, go here. The only thing I would change about El Furniture Warehouse would be a better selection of beer.

Used to be great, recently very much the opposite. Went in there with my girlfriend when it was quite busy and got seated relatively quickly. Table was wet and looked like it hadn't been cleaned. Ordered 2 tequila shots, waiting 20 minutes, got 2 warm, half full shots without a lime or salt or anything. Wouldn't have been an issue if I didn't have to wait 20 minutes and it didn't cost nearly $20 for bottom shelf tequila. Prefer Senoras, they make take awhile when it's busy but the drinks are good and the servers are polite.

Cheap eats, bad attitude. We were a group of 6. Our main food order came in 2 waves, meaning half our group didn't get their food until after everyone else had finished theirs. One of us didn't get the side of bacon they ordered, had to ask three different servers about it, and then finally when it came it was after we'd all finished and it was all served in a bowl of grease, clearly fresh from the microwave. The food, as expected, was pretty subpar. The quality has decreased since our first visit, which is disappointing. However, some things did stand out as decent: wings, burgers, and beef dip. Everything else was almost not worth eating. Mixed drinks, we also agreed, were watery and overpriced, probably to make up for the low food cost. Hopefully the food gets better, because frankly, between that and the abysmal servers who seem to think they're doing you a favour by letting you eat there, I don't think I'll be back. Ps. In our last seconds before leaving the table, the hostess also dropped a bottle on the floor at our feet, littering the floor with shards. Good memories!

Excellent restaurant! My husband and I stopped in here around Christmas time on our honeymoon and the service was wonderful. We had a young man who was our waiter, I forgot his name, but he was so nice and made great recommendations. The food was great portion sizes, tasted amazing, and was priced really well. Their drinks are fun too. The atmosphere is kind of a dark, grungy, bar vibe and we enjoyed it!

So $5.95 meals is a real interesting concept, and really for what you are paying it's not a bad deal. The food isn't going to make you say wow, in fact it's a little bland, but its not horrible. I had the bacon mac and cheese and it was decent, very little cheese, like hardly any, but it wasn't bad. People with me had the chicken sandwich and pizza and said basically the same thing. The beer selection isn't bad either. I'd recommend stopping here to fuel up for a night of boozing, but not as a stop for a really good meal.

Had a great time at this warehouse, We went in a group and had to wait for the table which was not too long as the place is busy on the weekends and then too it was the long weekend . The deal on the food for $5.95 all day everyday is pretty awsome as the food menu is quite well made with good amount of options from appy to desserts ! We also ordered each drinks for all of us and some shots to try and evrythung was amazing except my penne pasta was bit oily when i started eating . The oil amount could have made less for sure but other than i enjoyed a lot here with the great music they play. I am going to come back with my mates again .

Now a few establishments in the chain, the concept works! All meals are 5.99$, so you don’t need to make compromises and you can order more than one plate! Food is tasty and plates are decent size considering the inexpensive price. The sriracha and maple syrup wings are delicious! The menu highlights vegetarian fare and gluten aware options. Overall a great experience!

Really good food considering everything is 4.95$, and I was very impressed on that front. The service was OK- not the worst nor the best I've ever had. The only complaint I have is that we arrived at 3 pm and they were playing a variety of rap and some trap music on full blast not only making it hard to speak to one another without yelling but the coarse language was embarrassing around my parents. Not a place to bring young ones or Elderly people as I didn't feel like the music was family appropriate. But hey maybe that's not who they want to be catering to anyway! Overall decent experience.

everything about this place is my favorite. had every meal here for a week while i was in victoria, ate sooo much corn queso! the 5.00 menu is something that CAN NOT be beat. the food quality is amazing for the price you pay, fresh and decent and fair portions for what you pay, but because of how affordable it is, you can enjoy more then one dish if you like. the service is fast and officiant. the atmospher is unique and fun, they also play really really great music and usually always have a dj there. They recently opened up a location on stephan ave in Calgary, AB and it is identical to this location, which is amazing! love love love!

Absolute worst dining experience. We came here to start our night off, ordered drinks and (some of them) came 30 minutes later. We had to keep reminding the server what we ordered and he could not keep track of just 4 drink orders. I understand being understaffed but it shouldn't take that long to get a pop and a glass of wine from the kitchen, and we shouldn't have to tell you 3 times what we ordered. The food was even worse, he brought out food for three of us and left one person waiting another 40 minutes because they had "sent it to the wrong table", then finally brought out the wrong order. When it came time to pay he had to go over every order with us and still made mistakes on the receipts and we had to wait ages for him to go correct it. We had come here with the intention of having a couple drinks and small plates of food before moving on, but because of the service we ended up being here around 2 hours. In hindsight I wish we would have just cancelled our orders instead of staying around. The server did apologize and comped the order thay came very late, but it wasn't really enough to make up for the waste of time. The food was super greasy and tasted like they used old oil. The low prices aren't worth the bad experience imo.

Went here for lunch and service was great and decently paced. $5.95 per plate is pretty good, especially if you're indecisive and want to order a couple different entrees to sample. Rather eat here than certain fast food chains for sure. You can tell my older daughter and boyfriend had a great time here. Bonus points for having a good playlist. People who complain of the music must be anti-rap listeners. For me, I don't mind a chow while listen to good 80-90s era hip hop and rap.

My partner really enjoyed their location in Calgary so we thought we’d give the Victoria location a try. I’ll start by saying we ordered delivery and didn’t get any of the alcohol that we ordered. We don’t know if this was an UberEats problem or a restaurant problem, but we tried calling the restaurant throughout the evening and the next day and they don’t answer their phone. The food was cheap but super average, nothing to phone home about. Definitely pass on the spaghetti and meatballs.

The price is right! I had the union street noodle salad ( i may have the name wrong) it was delicious! I added extra chicken. It used to be a fun restaurant but now the atmosphere seems dead and lifeless. Decent food and decent prices but the place seems sad. They never want to give me a paper menu. Just have them laminated already. They asked if my dining partner was in the same bubble as me which annoyed me. It is not their job to police people. If a person wasn't in the same bubble they would say yes anyway so it's a pointless and stupid question. I doubt I will ever return.

Me and my friends were there and were being harassed by these men twice our age and wouldn’t leave us alone, but the waitress stepped in. Decent food, decent price, crappy service. The food was good they nickel and dime every add on but it's cheap so that is to be expected for the price. The service however ruins the experience, my first trip the service was slow and they didn't tell me they don't take debit until it came time to pay. So I had to use their atm which charges you the fee of course kind of greasy but whatever. My girlfriend went back and they forgot to put in her order took an hour to get her food wrapped up to go because she had to get back to work. After she paid they offered to give her a free meal next time but there won't be a next time.

1 price at $5.95 for each item on the menu. Arrived just past noon still vacant seats. Showed to our table and each of us given a menu. Since our 1st. time we each ordered a different item. By this time more customers arrived & than all tables were filled. It took at least 1/2 hour before out orders were served. Mine was braised beef spaghetti other 3 were burger, Hokkien thick noodle bowl with extra crispy chicken followed by 3 tacos and 1 order of crispy squid appy. You gotta have the accompanied dip sauce. Everyone agreed they're all not exactly filling, however tasty and suffice for a light weekend lunch.

4 of us went for dinner & drinks. We waited ages for our food. 3 of us ordered the same thing (Mac n cheese) and all of them arrived cold. They made us new ones when we told them it was cold but they really didn’t seem bothered about it. When a warm one finally arrived it was the worst Mac n cheese I’ve ever had. It was dry and looked like it hadn’t seen cheese in its life. I ate it because by this point I was starving. Very unimpressed.

We try to contact ubereats no one answers their support line or text line. We contact the restaurant. After 6 attempts we finally reach a manager who was unable to help or remedy the situation. I had friends visitng from out of town and we decided to check out El Furniture Warehouse for food and drinks. There was a line up for a table so figured we'd sit at the bar. The bartender told us the specials. We didn't know what we wanted so we asked him to come back. He actually gave us quite a bit of attitude because we weren't ordering shooter right off the bat and said the thought we'd be drinking more if we sat at the bar lol. I've sat at the bar plenty of times and was not expected to be drinking like I was in a night club (which this restaurant is not). The food was good for the price and the drinks as well. Did not care for the bartender and didn't appreciate the weird attitude we were given throughout. He never once quality checked our cleared our food- only cared if he were having more drinks/shooters. We had to grab a server Dallas to bring us food that was clearly forgotten and the host cleaned our table and plates for us. The host and Dallas were awesome and made the visit worthwhile. All 3 of us have worked in the service industry and found the bartender to be super pretenious. It didn't sit right with me which was why I decided to write a review. Work on your customer service skills bro and realize that your working at a restaurant in a pandemic and not a night club,

The food is absolutely incredible. There was nothing that was bad and we ordered five or six different meals. The drinks are good. The service was absolutely awesome! They do a great job at dividing the cubicles and social distancing, kid friendly and even though it's a little bit more expensive than other Warehouse restaurants like in vancouver, the extra dollar or two per meal was so worth it! I will be coming back again and again and I highly recommend this place !!

the food is so terrible they should be paying me to eat it. on my one visit to ``el furniture wearhouse`` I found a long hair in my burger, which i reported to the staff who simply took the hair out and left. When i explained this to another staff member they offered to bring me a new burger, i thought it was all resolved until they brought the bill and charged me for two burgers! i am honestly surprised this place is still in business with service like this.

I've come here many times for food and drinks after work. A couple of years ago it was a nice place to grab some food and a drink, but service has definitely changed lately. My last visit here was after work on a weekday, (last week) and I came here with the same group of friends. We ordered drinks, and food and for whatever reason is took 2 hours for the food to arrive. We were as patient as we could, we did have a drink to hold us there, but waiting 2 hours for food was a bit ridiculous. Food we didn't order also arrived at our tables, which they ALSO wanted us to pay for. It was a LONG night just for some drinks, poutines and wings. Food is decent, but these types of things seem to be repeating over the last 2-3 visits, I think at this point it'll be nicer to have dinner elsewhere.

I come here usually once a week for a bite to eat when I want good cheap food even late and some great tunes and energy. Can't complain feeding 2 appies and food for under $30 most of the time!! Only thing is be prepared for a wait on your food it's always busy and ordering booze will take precedence over your food so if you come only to eat be prepared for a bit of a wait. The servers will be focusing more on serving booze than waiting on you for food.

I love this place! Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and feel. Do you need me to mention menu items are $5.95 each item?? My fave is the Works burger with fries but I have always asked them to hold the Macho sauce. My friend said it's good though!

The food here is so cheap, but that’s because the ingredients used to prepare the food are cheap. Everything tastes like it was bought at Superstore. And I’m talking about the No Name/PC food, not anything from a national brand. The drinks are good, and service is friendly, but I am never able to finish eating the food the odd time I visit here because it is too cheap and chemically tasting.

Cheap and tasty food, portions on the smaller size but what can you can you expect for a little under 6 bucks per item. But like any restaurant the alcohol is where the bill racks up. But if you go for a two meal items and a drink you can keep the bill under 25 bucks.

Tucked down at the end of Yates Street this cool little restaurant and bar has a lot to offer at an amazing price. Usually you will have to wait a bit for your food and from time to time a seat as this is not the spot if you are looking for a quick in and out meal but well worth the time to go and relax and just enjoy the moment. Great selection of food at an affordable price. Been here a few times and staff are always super friendly and look after you from beginning to end.

Always a fun time and a great atmosphere. Definitely worth stoping in for a good tasting cheap bite. Decent drink menu and the staff are super laidback. They have a wall full of pictures of locals and it makes you feel connected. $5.95 for a plate of food is so worth it!

Menu is a bunch of small but decent dishes that all cost $5.95. Since a burger and fries are on that menu, it's hard to beat compared to the other expensive food offerings down town. They don't take debit, and the service is pretty light, but it's a discount food place. Drinks aren't cheap, that's how they keep open!

Service was good but a little slow so be prepared to wait a good while for your food order. My dining experience was on a Monday afternoon so I can’t imagine what the weekend service would be like. Food was okay. Best suited as a spot for drinks and relaxation.

Absolutely Awesome, great food for only $5.96 literally every food item on the menu is only $5.96!!! So for example I had a peach mojito, a works burger and a smokey bbq burger was only $22.56 inc. Tax. The atmosphere is nice and comfortable, theres a really cool wooden theme to the place, lots TVs to watch ya game, great bar and lastly a great place to bring your friends! Would reccomend going there with a family.

I have never hear of this place till my friend took me here and now I am hooked. This is a great place if you want to go out and not spend a ton of money. All the food is $5.95 with good portions and tastes great. The drinks do cost more but even with our bill(two drinks, two entrees and two desserts) it was less than $35. I will definitely be coming back here.

Went here looking for some Spanish furniture and was initially disappointed. There is NO furniture for sale here at all. Instead it's all beer and food and that. Fortunately, I enjoy beer and food, so my afternoon was not wasted. However, my villa remains unfurnished.

I give it 2 stars because the service is ok but the food takes way too long. They pride themselves on $5 meals (that's all they serve). But to be honest I feel like most of the ones I've had there are only worth $5. So I guess you get what you pay for. I would rather pay a little more and get my monies worth. And they get you on the drinks (no free refills). That being said my girlfriend loves it and always wants to go there when we are in town. So I guess I will go back. If your going to go I suggest the sandwich and burger to get the most for your money...L????L
