We had friends come from out of town and we took them here for dinner. We all enjoyed our meals. We had the Beef burger and Chicken Burger, Mac and Cheese with Chicken and the Crunchy Tuna Salad. All were excellent. Good service as well. We really appreciated that all the servers were wearing masks!

One of the best restaurant/pubs in town! Staff are friendly and on point, food never disappoints and the local craft beer list is excellent. Football fans this place is one of the best spots in town to watch football! High quality well placed screens and live audio throughout the restaurant for Seahawks games. Great spot in Vic West to grab a pint and bite. I enjoy watching the "People Are Awesome" show they seem to always play. After a few beers, you can't help but laugh. The service is friendly, quick and great. Their food options are a fantastic upper scale brew-pub-esque mix of tasty options.

Love it here! Great service, great vibe, great food overall. Great covid protocols in place, makes you feel safe and welcome. My only critique from this past visit was that the sticky toffee pudding (something I take very seriously!!) was a huge disappointment. It needs to be served piping hot (was not even warmed) and needs to be reworked I think. Also please consider getting Stella on tap but otherwise keep up the great work! The menu here is very unique compared with other Brown's locations and is definitely the best in town!

We always have awesome service and food here, plus sometimes we manage to coordinate our visit with happy hour! The menu is extensive and we like so much of it. Yum! If you're going during Covid-19, make sure and allow time to wait as it's getting busier. Having tables spaced is our favourite dining experience ever!

The food was way too expensive for the quality. I expected better from Browns but the food was the same quality as a cheap family restaurant but 2X the price. The building is nice and the staff are lovely. The spicy chicken on the mac and cheese tasted like someone opened a pack of ramen noodles seasoning and dumped it on the chicken and threw it in a deep fryer.

I've been here before for dinner and drinks and it's been good. Would not recommend brunch though. My friend ordered her bacon extra crispy/burnt but it came out not crispy at all and the server said she couldn't take it back because it had hit the table. The non-crispy bacon shouldn't have made it to the table in the first place, but when it did the server could have offered to bring different bacon that was cooked crispy. Myself and my other friend ordered the hash and when it came it was almost all tater tots and corn, we never would have ordered it if we knew the 'crispy potatoes' were tater tots. It was also covered in some sort of sauce that wasn't mentioned on the menu and had no discernable flavour. The cheese was some pre-shredded mix that didn't melt at all and there were no caramelized onions that I could see. We didn't want to complain to the server about this, since it wasn't her fault, but it was a very negative experience. Maybe if we had been looking at a proper menu rather than the one on our phones we could have seen the hash in more detail and known what to expect. As it is though, I would not go back.

THEY HAVE MICE!!! Throughout our dinner on the patio there were a couple mice running around! They kept coming closer and closer to us trying to get some food! Saw them go in and out of a little hole to the restaurant numerous times. When we mentioned it to the server she said they are aware but haven’t been able to do anything yet. Isn’t this a health concern???? Sorry to write a negative review but if your restaurant has mice I think this is a major problem.

This was our favorite takeout place during Covid, and we loved the Dragon Bowl and Extra Spicy Kauai Poke Bowl. However, the food quality has changed drastically in the last month. Having the poke bowls removed from the takeout menu wasn't a big deal, as I subbed in the Tuna Crunch Salad, as I'd had it before at Brown's Langford. However, several ingredients were left out, and it had pickles in it. No salad on the Crafthouse menu includes pickles, so I'm not sure why that happened. We ordered a Dragon Bowl and a poke bowl this evening, as I was psyched a poke bowl was available again. However, the bowl was coated in so much spicy mayo that it overpowered any other flavors. My husband said his Dragon Bowl didn't taste the same, that it was bland. We would be happen to patronize again if the quality returns to its original standards.
