Very nice hotel. Breakfast was very good, coffee, actual eggs, bacon and other things you'd expect. Not the fake pre made stuff. Internet was decent. Room was clean and modern. Very nice size TV. Only negative was the lack of room temperature control or a fan in the room

Great location and food. Attended a Christmas work party for kids. Breakfast buffet was amazing, and room was great for the musical entertainment (Swinging Bells), who were also great. Santa also showed up with gifts for the kids. Just a great area for such an event. Excellent overall experience! 5 Stars!

Really great hotel in the heart of St John's. The hotel looks dated from the outside, but has been beautifully renovated very stylishly inside. Really comfortable, well appointed guest rooms. SUPER comfortable beds and linens. Location can't be beat...tonnes os restaurants and bars minutes walking away. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Front staff or fantastic the bar staff restaurant staff are fantastic in room dining were fantastic really enjoyed that part. But the king size bed in room 642 Jacuzzi suite the bed is set for the dump

I enjoyed my stay at this property. The people were very nice and helpful. The room was excellent. The location is good. The view was great. We ate out most of the time. There are lots of great restaurants in Saint. John's. If you plan on walking about, bring warm clothing.

Moldy bathroom, $60 room service breakfast was terrible and wrong. The old iron in the room ruined a pocket square that I had bought earlier in the day and burned a shirt. I told the front desk and I got the usual "I will pass it along". As a Marriott Gold member you expect more after over 500 nights in Marriotts. Walking distance from downtown, which has plenty to offer. The view is wonderful with a lake and mountain back drop on one side; and quaint town on the other. All the staff members were very friendly. Great room service options with on time breakfast delivery. It was a pleasure to stay here and would definitely return.

The rooms were nice and freshly redone but there was no fan in the bathroom or windows to open so the air got quite stuffy and there was a smell of paint fumes or new furniture or something. We were there for 4 nights and housekeeping only came in once to make bed and give fresh towels. The staff was very friendly during the day but one of the staff in the lobby overnight was kind of crusty.

The beds are like clouds, probably the softest and most comfortable hotel bed I have slept in. If you're lucky, you may get a room with a view of the dock which I thought was neat.

Beds were super comfy! Pool was fun and the swim suit dryer was an added bonus! Although the lack of glassware in room was dissapointment.( Only 2 paper coffee cups). Also the phone in our room didn't work to call front desk or local calls.

Paid $200 for a room with an "harbour front view" and all i could see were a few trees. Also got a shower and was up over my ankles in water because the tub was clogged. Needless to say i was less then impressed with this experience.
