REVIEWS OF Microbrasserie Des Beaux Prés IN Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré

The microbrewy has good beers and some good snack ad well. It is just too bad they do not offer a "full menu". The food I did have there was really good and so was the service. If you want some local beers, this is the place to go.

One star is too many for the staff of this beautifully placed establishment. I can write this review in French but this review should resonate with the English speaking crowd who visit the area. My wife and kids stood inside the restaurant at the entrance by the door for 5 minutes, hungry and at awe because they were told by the waitress Justine that they were not allowed to sit at a table as all customers do, as two other groups of customers did while we were waiting, because they were told that they have to order first, pay and only then she would seat you in the restaurant. When I arrived behind them I asked what the issue was and Justine explained in a very contortionist fashion that the area that you want to sit works differently. Her explanation puzzled me and I asked again to slowly explain in clear French as I was speaking why others are walking in and are immediately given a table but we are at the door with a pay first before consumption requirement.. She tried different angles and modified her story but she got deeper and deeper into the nonsense that she was trying to sell. I finally had to ask for a manager and Joanne Geinden (the owner) came out and asked as to what the problem was. By now my wife and kids are angry and had left back for the car in the parking lot. I explained the situation to Joanne, At first she seemed surprised, then she went in and immediately asked me to come in for the table of 5. I said it's too late and that with this attitude, my wife would never come back to this place again and added that "I have to thank you for that". But as I was walking to the door Justine turned around and loudly said "HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY"..... I turned back in and asked for Joanne's full name who by now was in total damage control mode begging us to come in. So after insisting on getting her name I left. Now that I read other negative remarks, I see that the problem of the staff selecting customers and denying service is an issue here. By the way we attend plenty of 5 star establishments, so our look was not an issue. The next day and before posting my review here I called Joanne to see if she has done any due diligence and if she has talked to the waitress. She said she has no idea as to what went on and had not spoken to Justine from the moment I left, which is a sign of a systemic problem that most likely they are all aware of. I would avoid this place.

I think this place it is worthy for stopping during summer. They have a nice view of the river st Laurence and a nice outside garden. The food is like every microbrasserie nothing special but there beer is good. They also have a blueberry juice that is yummy.

Amazing venue right next to the Saint-Laurent river, about 35 minutes from downtown Quebec! Their selection of beers is super accurate and precise and their food is simple but efficient ! I highly recommand if you wanna have a quick exile outside the city.

A great place to drink a cool beer in the terrace. Beers are really good. We were not hungry so we didn't have the opportunity to try their food. But it is a nice and relaxing place.

Very friendly towards non-French speaking who butcher every single pronunciation :) Merci, bonne bière!

Excellent beer. Specifically I had the Croix Noire Stout and the St Pat Cream Ale -- and a sip of my wife's Mestachibo Pale Ale. Each was perfect. Great location out the back looking onto Des Beaux Prés -- the beautiful meadows for which I'm guessing the brewery and area is named. Waitresses were efficient and friendly. If I lived nearby I'd be a regular.

This is a beautiful cozy place, with a gorgeous view of the fleuve. The staff is friendly, the food is good, and service is always quick. Their beer selection is large, and you have the option to make your own flights if you wish to try different local beers, I usually go with the server's suggestion.

Staff not friendly, and blames it on COVID. We just finished a tour of Gaspésie and Cote Nord and all our waiters were super friendly despite of COVID, so I don’t buy this. Beer is nothing special, compared to other microbreweries in the area. Lemonade is a mix of boxed juices, has nothing to do with lemonade.. Probably won’t be back here

Really great place! Absolutely worth the short and picturesque drive after visiting Montmorency Falls! The double IPA and scotch ale were the big standouts for us on the beer front, but they were all good. Sitting on the patio with the view of the St. Lawrence river is amazing. Chili was good but the cheese plate with 4 local cheeses was off the charts! At least if you are like us and don't like funky cheeses.

Great location with awesome patio and view. The beers were good and charcuterie board was also delicious. Friendly staff and ended up buying a T-shirt on my way out.

Wonderful and aromatic beers that can’t be found elsewhere. They have a charming restaurant and bar with first-rate food. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I purchased 5 of their 980 ml bottles of beer. They give you a $ 3 refund for each bottle returned. So far I have tried their MSA and Mestachibo brews. All I can say is that I was floored by the taste and aroma. I don’t think I can have other beers after this. Which means I will be returning to Quebec as often as I can.

Stopped here only because we heard they allow dogs on the patio out back. We were so happy we did!! They showed us great hospitality and service. We sat at a table over looking a beautiful scenery by the river. The food was so delicious! I had a double Ipa and I think is was one of the best I have had! Definitely a hidden gem!

I was debating where to take a break biking and am I ever grateful I stopped here! The Belgian beer flight was delicious along with the shrimp croquettes which was recommended by my lovely server (I wish I had caught her name). The overall ambiance was amazing with a great view, staff were excellent and attentive. I can see why this place was so busy with a lineup before it opened. I look forward to the next opportunity to bike here again for this experience.

Went today, though just to buy beer to go, great beer. Bought a good number of them and the person from the bar that served me she lost patience and was extremely cold and unpleasant. We are still here for the week and unfortunately, we will not go to the restaurant. Service and welcoming atmosphere is quite im’ortant to us.

Stopped by here with my brother and got a couple flights to try all of the beers. All of them were great and can't say I was disappointed with any! They are also right on the river with a great patio. Definitely worth checking out if you're around Quebec City.

The BBQ flatbread was way above average and the beers as well. Must try the maple flavored ale. It had just the right hint of maple. The staff was awesome and chatted with us at the bar about our travels, the area and the brewery itself. Worth a stop on the way to/from St. Anne.

Relaxed friendly atmosphere. Large selection of brews made onsite. Seems popular with the locals. It was music jam night, where anyone can come in with an instrument and join in anytime. Great sound and cool concept!

Samira Alencar

We went there on a Friday night and were surprised by how fast the service was. Very nice beers and great food too. I ordered the chicken and goat cheese sandwich. Nice atmosphere and super friendly service. Would definitely come back!
