It's always really fun there. However, a few issues. It can get really loud, the bowling alley is usually super busy and packed but booking ahead is super expensive, the food is lackluster and it can get crowded. Best part is the arcade but I wish they would switch out some games more or something. It can get repetitive.

I love the atmosphere and there are a lot of lanes. Just think you should tell your employees to practice better customer service, girls at the front desk. As I work retail and I wouldn’t get mad at a customer for asking a simple question and talk to a worker instead of listening to the question.

This place is awesome if you get there before they start to charge by the hour then you can get a round super cheap. Staff bring drinks and food right to your lane so it's super convenient. Also they play music while you bowl so you don't have to throw away more money into a jukebox.

Crazy busy! It has been many years since I went bowling. Apparently, it has bounced back into popularity. They charge $10 extra per lane to reserve a lane. We came at 4:20 on a Saturday afternoon and the wait was 2 hours. We decided to play in the arcade which had a HUGE variety of games and seemed fairly reasonable. The pizza only comes in medium (8 slice 12" size) in the restaurant. It was a wee bite pricey but delicious. Wings are $19 a pound. Make reservations. There are specials Sunday to Wednesday.

Little pricey for children. Would go to other locations before returning. Very organized and the staff quickly cleaned tables preparing for next patrons to go. The paladium next door needs upkeep. 4 machines where down for maintenance and very dark in the back of the area as if no lights work or keeping cost down.

Always Good time at splitsville. I don't really order food so I can't attest to that but the facility is great, they have updated their computer scoring system and its very good and modern but I have had a few bowling balls not register being thrown down the lane but that hadn't happened for a while as I visit often. Good arcade of you have to wait a bit for a lane. Clean and fun atmosphere!

We had so much fun! You can customize the lane for a player if you need to, like if you want the bumpers to come up if you're bowling with a young one, you can put that into the computer and they'll come up on their own each time it's that players turn. They also have shoe rental and all different sizes and weights of balls for you to use. There's tons of lanes, we went on Victoria day and expected there might be a wait with everyone having the day off, but there were at least 30 lanes and plenty of room for everyone. We didn't try the food or go into the arcade but there is a restaurant and a sizable arcade but I don't know what the prices are like. They also do birthday parties.

I recommend to sign up for their email list to receive special offers and discounts, like $10 off, games for $1.99. Service is slow and some days lacking, you often have to go and look for your server just to get a menu and to order.

The place was awesome BUT the restraint was deserted so it took 10min or more to find someone to serve us I guess they only had one server. Large amount of machine were broken including the one I came to play. I’m disappointed not in the place itself but for management to allow it to be let go. I’ll come back but if it’s still the same way I’ll take my family someplace else even out of town.

Fun place to bowl and to have some classic gaming fun at the arcade. Fun, non rigged bowling and the food there is pretty good for fast food. Went to the arcade, but ALL the games were rigged, so that's why everything is low priced in tickets. Its still fun though! Overall, average, fun place to go.

I'm from a smaller town where our bowling alleys are old and forgotten. I came to Splitsville to meet up with my cousins and could not believe how popular this place was. We had drinks first upstairs and were served by a very nice bartender. Then we spent the rest of the night bowling and dancing at our lane. The music was amazing and the service was even better. Very nice and prompt waitresses serving us right at our lane. I will definitely return!

Great place to bowl. Lots of fun, interactive games that the kids love. Just expect to pay an arm and a leg for one night out lol. With game prices and an hour of bowling with shoe rental, and or any food/beverages, you're looking easily at a 60 dollar night out. They do have a cheap night but don't know which day. Huge facility, very clean with modern decor. Can accommodate large birthday parties but is rather expensive.

Had an absolute blast celebrating my birthday here!!! The DJ's playlist was perfect, it was a fun atmosphere, food was great and the service was on point with our group of 14!!!!! I will definitely be having more celebrations here in the future. Highly recommend anyone to try them out!

Great place to go for everyone of all ages. It seems more targeted for teens and order audience but it does accommodate to everyone. They have three sections from what I noticed arcade, bowling, and an upstairs dining area. They do serve you food while you bowl however if you are waiting before hand it is a great waiting area to order a meal or have a drink. I was there on the Saturday night at 11:00PM they have special pricing of 13.99 per person (which could be all the time I am unsure but still great compared to their regular prices). They had a DJ blasting new and old tunes all night long which helps amp the environment. I got the Kingpin plater for myself and my girlfriend; I thought it would be larger so was slightly disappointed with that portion of food PLUS it was pricey so I wouldn't call it worth it for the food. The customer service was great nevertheless. Pretty sure it gets more packed than the night I went so servers probably can be quite busy worst case just never be shy to ask politely for assistance and let them know your wait time. Overall anyone who is able to manage a regular sized bowling ball (I am unsure if they have kids sizes) is capable of attending and having an amazing time.

I always find Spiltsville to be a well maintained, clean and fun environment. The staff is very prompt and helpful. I usually come here with a party of 2 or 3 and service at our lane is quick. If you're getting food, i definitely recommend nachos!

A little on the pricey side, but overall a fantastic place to bowl. Also, the DJ need to acknowledge that kids come here as well so playing music with swear words aren't the best choice for music. If the owner of this place can respond to that concern and prevent foul music from being played, then I will revise this review.

All four of my friends went in except me. so frustrating. worse, Did not even refund us for my rental shoe just coz we booked it online.. My fault, my mistake i forgot the id. My boyfriend and I would go for their specials (1.99$ games) and we have just been informed these specials are no longer available. This is the only bowling alley in our area and it’s a shame we will no longer be going due to the expensive pricing, I just don’t believe it should be that much.

Family made a reservation for two lanes for next Saturday night. We were then called back a couple of days later to be told the lanes were no longer available. Super disappointing as the reservation was for a 60th birthday party. Update: my sister-in-law spoke with Splitsville via email and they apologized and stated that they did make an error in telling us the lanes were available (when they actually were not). They were not able to book us in for our desired night and said they could look into another night for us (which ultimately would not work due to the number of attendees; we had to book with another alley).

We came here a couple weeks ago for a kids 5th birthday party. It was a great atmosphere for the kids, they loved the bowling. The kids at the party ranged from 2-6 years of age they were all able to participate in majority of the games at the arcade. I did find the arcade to be totally over priced and had well over 7 games out of order. Over all had a great time with the kiddo, thanks for the great experience.

I can't comment on the cost of the lanes since we were on a free pass. It was clean, and very modern. I've been to lots of bowling alleys that look like they haven't changed from the 70s - this isn't one of them (scoring done on a tablet). I personally don't care for the arcade side - my kids get sucked into that, and then we have a battle ...

Our planner scrambled to fill in the two hours and the site made arrangements to get our 50+ people in earlier so our agenda was still on schedule. Like one day notice. Doh! We had our company party (Pic N Save Auto Parts') at Splitsville Hamilton last night. I didn't have high expectations for a party at a bowling alley other than a lot of fun. Well I was wrong. From my initial planning meeting with Heather through to the event last night, everything was handled with care, professionalism and without a glitch. My expectation for food was that it was going to be bad bar food. I was very wrong, the food was actually delicious. The variety was just perfect too. Having said that, we did splurge and went all out on the food with the best package. It was all delicious. The entire night, including bowling (the main event) was wonderful and we really hope to have another corporate event there sometime in the future. I would recommend Splitsville in a heartbeat. Thanks for a wonderful holiday party!!!

Great place to take the family for something different! Even if you don’t bowl or think that it’s not something you would like, try it and then tell me it wasn’t a good time. They have certain times when it’s like disco bowling and lights are off etc and they also have a little restaurant with food and drinks. Yes there is pop for the parents too lol. ???????? There is also a little arcade there as well for the gaming kids. It’s a great experience and the kids will love it. I think a lot of people don’t even think about going bowling but it’s a fun sport, easy to learn but most importantly again it’s different. Try something new and you might surprise yourself!

Lots of lanes, all of which have dynamic bumpers for kids or for fun that go up or down depending on who's turn it is. Food was pretty good, although one dish was forgotten but we got it shortly after we informed the staff. Would go again!

I dealt with a gentleman named Bryan. He was amazing to deal with and sooo nice! The arcade part is SO CLEAN. There were bowls of alcohol wipes all around the game machines. I reached out to Bryan to inquire about doing some photos (engagement photos) and he was so accommodating and so easy going! It was a great experience and I already can't wait to go back!! We bowl there once a week with a league and the place is great. The service staff are awesome and the gal that looks after us always know our drink orders. The food is pretty good here as well. Sometimes the scoring system goes a little wonky but other than that I really enjoy coming here every week for some laughs and good competition with our league.

Thus is a bowling alley that has a resturant upstairs called the Loft. Pricey but the food is made fresh to order. They have the best wings l have tasted outside my kitchen in a long while. Burger, onion rings and fries are amazing too. If you go for lunch make sure to tell the desk downstairs or you will be waiting until someone realizes your there. Kids are free to bowl in the summer(at least in 2018 anyway)

service is a little slow when you're ordering food or when you're asking just for straight water sometimes they just completely ignore the fact that you asked for something and you got to ask twice but the pricing on a Sunday is fairly cheap after 8 it's only $2 a game and they're arcade most of the games work but sometimes they don't or they like to just take their money but the girls and guys are pretty considerate about giving you like more points or fixing your bowling time. good place to go when you have like a group of people or you want to do something with like your work because there's literally like everything for everybody.

We were here for a birthday party, and it was great! The staff were friendly, the environment felt clean. Our server, Melissa, went above and beyond to make our birthday experience run smooth. She helped me with timing of pizza, cake, bowling, etc. We will be back 100%! The pizza wasn't the best, but their fries are really good!!

The overall atmosphere is very good. Very fun with a group of friends or with the family. The customer service was very good as staff were very attentive in regards to getting us anything we needed, eg. Food and drink without us having to look for them. Unfortunately some of the shoes for rent we're falling apart in places. Additionally, my group had younger people who could not use heavier balls and there was a lack of light ones available. As well when rails we're requested they didn't work half the time. The playdium portion of the building was very good with a wide variety of games to play and reasonable prices all around, this also goes for bowling prices. The building was well maintained and clean. Overall very good!

Staff was kind, the lanes were fine and the technology on the lanes was a cool nice touch. Basically a really good bowling center. Only down side was the shoes were wet after cleaning. (Multiple pairs had the same problem) that could have just been a bad time of night that we got there. There is also an arcade attached to which is a nice bonus if you are into that.

It's a great place surviving in a world where arcades and bowling alleys are disappearing. The bowling alley portion is great, sadly the arcade section is lacking a bit, especially towards the back where it's dark and empty for the most part.

Perhaps we had a bad experience but we went to splitsville, had a two hour wait for a lane and when we finally got one the scoreboard TV was broken. Food was really good, arcade was fun as well. Great place to take your kids for a birthday or a night out with your friends.

Went for ladies night on wed and had a really fun time!! I would definitely go back again for bowling but I think I would eat more someplace else first. The menu was a little pricey for a bowling alley in my opinion and portions were only average. Something happened in the middle of our second game but the staff there was super nice and helpful and got us playing again in no time despite the place being busy. Will be back

Decent bowling and okay pub-style food. This can be cost effective for a group of six, but a two-person date is on the pricier side, even when just paying for a single game (which, be warned, will last you all of 20 minutes with two people.) You can't convert the game to an hour once you've already paid. We finished our game faster than we finished the food, and couldn't find someone to pay for the food, but someone was able to boot us faster from our lane. Soft drink refills, which cost pennies on the $2 they charge per refill and most places offer for free, are not free. Overall decent, there's other better options for your money.

I love to bowl but the wait times and the unfriendly staff make it really difficult to write anything positive about this place. The staff ignore you or are rude, when you add that to the minimum 45 minute wait every time, it makes it tough to not just go to Burlington Bowl.

We had my son's birthday party at Splitsville last weekend and the service was exceptional. The staff members were all attentive and knowledgeable. There was lots for the kids to do in the arcade once they tired of bowling and they all had a blast. The food was also very good and the party package was reasonably priced for everything you get. I would highly recommend.

Great place at an affordable price for a fun night and bowling experience. They have different weight balls some more some less. Alleys are clean and tables too. There are servers around near the bowling alleys. Masks are mandatory at all times and the vibe is good!

VERY disappointing to see the mandatory mask policy not being enforced by staff. I totally understand and agree with not wearing a mask when at your lane BUT people (adults and kids) were walking around the bowling side and in the arcade are NOT wearing a mask - even at some points talking directly to staff with either no visible mask or having it around their neck. It was clear the staff just did not care, even with the mandatory mask signs posted and it being a bylaw. HOWEVER, bowling was fun as usual!

Paid for 1 hour, clock started before we even got to our lane, by the time we got our shoes on ourselves, and helping our 3 young children, the clock was already down to 48 minutes. We asked a server if we could get some beverages and snacks, she told us she was not our server but would let our server know to come see us. She never came. We didn't even get to bowl one full game.

I've had several b day parties for both my daughters there. Let me just say it's a great place and we left happy but suddenly this year I found out the rates have changed....anything over 5 kids you're automatically charged for 10 kids no matter what.... so if i had 6 kids i pay fir 10...same as if i had 10 kids i pay for 10.not only that but we get less food? Seriously I should have read the fine print...my fault for assuming they remained the same for the last few years. I wouldn't have booked this venue if I knew. But on the good news is kids will have a great time. ...at least I think so

Very busy place on a Saturday night. Who knew?! 2-3 hr wait for a lane. Never thought to reserve a lane ahead. DJ here, LOTS of youth inside, LOTS of people smoking weed at the doors. Yes legal, but still....walking thru the cloud of it to get inside...a bit off putting. Cant comment on lanes or ball selection or staff as...we never got that far!

We went by bus in cold weather. They said its capacity has raised and they didnt allow us to enter in. After half an hour waiting outside in cold weather, they gave us entry and then we saw bunch of people came at the same time which were allowed by the same authority. There were more people than before when we waited outside. They also refused to give us promotional offer for striking twice consequently. So overall staff wasnt friendly and helpful.

Came here on a Tuesday afternoon for bowling and to play in the arcade. The place wasn’t busy at all (I’m assuming it gets busy weekends). The bowling alleys were great and so was the arcade! My boyfriend and I purchased 2 rounds of bowling which was enough for us and purchased the 200 game credits for 30$. We shared the credits between the two of us and it lasted us over an hour and we had lots of fun. This is a great place to go when the weather outside isn’t great but you still have want to get out of the house!

Well maintained facility. Excellent deals on bowling. The games in playdium have become nothing but a money grab. Most last 3 seconds and never really payout. The staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. Washrooms were clean which was shocking considering the long weekend volume. Needs more menu options. Everything was made for a group of people. Not many things for just one or two. And my child and I don't want a $30 plate of nachos. Overall very pleasant experience. I do suggest a reservation if visiting during peak hour's.

Always a good time, food was okay but a little pricey for what you get, but you're there for bowling and arcade and not the food. Biggest concern was that they were not enforcing social distancing or mask wearing. You don't have to wear a mask when bowling or eating, but from what I saw, no one was putting their masks on when walking around when on the bowling side. On the arcade side, social distancing was an issue especially around the ticket redemption area.

It's time to replace some of the older games! I've never seen anyone play the huge game in the centre for example (it's a group game where you hit the lit up panels). It would be nice to see some new pinball games, or some arcade fighting games (street fighter, marvel vs Capcom, etc). The ticket/reward system, like all of these places is okay for the small stuff, but a huge rip off for the larger items. The food is okay, though the few times we ordered while visiting, most of the food was luke warm.

Had an amazing experience today (11-23-2019). Had chicken wings and a mojito. I have to say the wings tasted fresh and they were not over cooked or dried out. As for the mojito, I have never had one but I enjoyed this drink for sure. The lady that was working in the lounge was very friendly and courteous. Thank you for such a good experience today

Very fun place! I've gone a few times had a few good servers and a few not so good. Over all it is worth it for a fun night out. I can not remember my last servers name but she took care of us to well! She even went on a hunt to find me the lightest ball to use because it was hurting my shoulder! I've only gone on a Saturday night, there's not usually a lot of kids,(not in the arcade either) and they have a DJ!

I played from 9-10 and had an okay time other then the lane stalling for 20 minutes. I wanted to play one more game at 10 pm but apparently this is not an option they said no and said you must pay 26+ dollars for one more hour. Literally one more game would have made me a happy customer and give 4+ plus stars but the manager said this not even an option.

Much to my surprise the Food is not typical of a bowling alley. Much better. Not quite as good as the Bier Stube in MN at bowling alleys, but it offers unique Canadian desired foods plus the local favorites. Worth a second try. The beer selection has local beers as well as the normal Canadian beers. Average but good.

My last three visits; 1st visit: Bumper lane not working on the lane we were on and it was too busy and we couldn’t switch lanes. 2nd visit: Their machine sensor doesn’t detect the ball and it goes out of sequence. Example: There were only 3 pins remaining and it switched to the next player with only 3 pins. It kept happening throughout the whole game. 3rd visit: Same issue as our second visit and I had to reset the game. However, this time even the scoreboard was glitching. I was player #3 and loosing and as soon as player #2 finished their turn (and took out only 5 pins), my score went up 24 points while player 2 didn’t get any points. It’s a shame because I spent a lot of money buying food and drinks for my 3-5 people plus kids and then you don’t really enjoy bowling because the place you went to suck. Writing this review as I am leaving the parking lot. Needless to say I won’t be bowling here Anytime soon and hopefully they fix their issues.

Fun atmosphere and could be a great time, but I was there on a Saturday night - had dinner in the restaurant upstairs while waiting for our lane. The service of the staff was subpar, young and inexperienced.. and our lane was CONSTANTLY having problems. any time someone ended their turn with a gutter ball it didn't register. We spent the first 6 minutes of our time trying to figure out how to reset the lane because it wasn't working. Had to call for help in the end. and it continued having problems all game, called for help 3 times and no-one ever came. (Yes they are super busy on a Saturday but I paid $45 to play and I was constantly having problems.)

They place has a lot of lanes for bowling, they accomodate large groups or work functions. There is glow in the dark lanes as well as a modern system for tracking scores. The palace seems relatively clean and the staff are friendly. The waitresses are good to deal with. The food is typical bowling alley food but they have a great bar upstairs that has a lot of seating and serves good food and drinks. There is a large arcade for kids which has many games and prizes available. I would recommend this place for a night out with friends or family.

Lanes are great, score system new. Checkin and checkout is very slow with a really small area and 1 person. Considering the huge size of the place with over 30 lanes, a more efficient in and out system is needed.

A bowling experience Splitsville has everything there is to offer for a bowling night out whether just the two of you or if you have a large group the staff are friendly and they have a pro shop on spot if you need or want to purchase your own apparel. Splitsville also offers weekly specials and runs a Facebook page that list upcoming events and specials they are also very well equipped for young children’s needs when it comes to this sport. Our friends gather sometimes three times a week here just to spend time and have a few laughs.????

Big 10 pin bowling alley. Great for families and parties. Basic pub grub was decent... Restaurant upstairs but you can get served food and alcohol while you're playing. Book ahead if you can as there is often a wait. Or you can spend your time waiting in the attached Please, and get buzzed when your alley is ready.
