There were a number of issues with this place:
Firstly, it was extremely overpriced. 60$ for bowling is unacceptable anywhere, even more so considering the level of service and quality of bowling here. For $60 plus a separate $5 each for bowling shoes, one would expect a premium bowling experience, and this place offers the exact opposite.
Secondly, the service offered was horrific. Staff were extremely rude and unhelpful, and eyed us throughout our entire game, as if we were doing something wrong. We were constantly attacked for small mistakes in our game, and outdated rules such as "no outside drinks" were enforced, to the point where we were not allowed to bring water in; effectively forcing us to buy from their overpriced, low quality "cafeteria" to avoid dehydration.
The food offered by the bowling place was disgusting and overpriced. The one food item we ordered was terrible, and nausea-inducing, and resulted in diarrhea the following day for myself and my friend. It is evident from the food quality and price why they don't allow outside food or drink; no one in their right mind would order from this cafeteria unless they were in danger of starving.
Finally, the technology offered here is extremely outdated. The barrier to the pins would randomly move up and down, blocking many of our shots, and causing the staff to become irate with us despite it not being our fault. Furthermore, the computer randomly shut down before the end of our hour, forcing us to leave as the staff again blamed their poor technology on us.
To conclude, avoid this place if at all possible; there are many better options in Hamilton for a quality bowling experience.
