The outdoor skating was fine but it was billed as Thursday Date Night...The ice was crawling with kids who were playing rough and there wasn't a visible staff presence on the ice to manage that. The guy who was doing the skate rental was very lovely but it is such a shame to make the drive expecting something special and ending up with just a normal public skate. We would have booked a normal time if we knew instead of a later night one. Failure in communication to patrons and staff.

Watching Rebels game very entertaining. Last year they had food trucks. That was awesome. This year it's a concession with cold pizza and $7.00 hot dogs. Yuck. Bring back food trucks or get more choices at concession.

Horrible for young children, very bare. I was over charger and could only be given back a store credit which I wouldn't of used. 1 family change room, the few attractions to play with all require extra cost. My children have more fun playing free in Westshore malls play area. I will never be going back and I do not recommend unless you have older children and wish to play up to 30$ a visit.

Great fields and there isn't a bad seat in the stands. The stands are all cement but are wide enough to fit a camping chair. If windy the building helps as a buffer.

Had an amazing morning with family and friends. Drop in bowling and staff were very accommodating for the younger kids. Then to the spray park next door. Sat in the shade and ordered adult drinks while the kids played. Very clean. Only one entrance so was safe for the kids. Delicious drinks and great service.

I really prefer going here to some of the mainstream Municiple Rec centers. I went to the public skate on Sunday. The price was same as any other rink but the rental equipment was higher quality. They have outdoor skating in the winter and in the summer the the outdoor rink turns into a water park. I find Langford very innovative when it comes to providing family based services to the community. There are great options for various activities at this facility and mostly all of them are familly oriented.

We came here on a Wednesday morning. It was very quite and the lady who was working was extremely friendly and welcoming. My toddlers had a great time running around burning off energy. The price was great, we stayed for almost 2 hours. I’ll definitely bring them back for more fun :)

This review is about playzone specifically. Whole this place was definitely a lot of fun for the kids (they begged me to bring them), the pricing is obscenely expensive for what it is. It cost me well over $30 to get the kids into what amounts to an indoor play structure. The woman working the counter was unenthusiastic and obviously not happy to be there. It's crazy loud, with no separated area for parents other than as couple of broken couches on one side. They should lower their prices and sell earplugs to parents instead. The kids had fun but this isn't a place we can afford to come often.

We gave the playzone a try today and our kid spent a great time for about 2 hours. This facility has a lot of fun stuff hidden throughout the place and also offers pretty inexpensive concession. Definitely coming back. It’s a great option on a rainy day during winter time. Suggestion - stop adults from wearing shoes inside the playzone. Clean the washroom more often.

We have had the pleasure of attending and enjoying all rugby tournaments since opening, except one. We attended the Womens Sevens Rugby Tournament on the weekend. Impressive chances done and still to come I am certain as this facility evolves. We enjoyed our lunch in the "beer garden" area with the artificial grass. Maybe plans coming for all food vendors to be there in the future? Not certain why they were separated. Maybe an area such as this at each side could be thought of in future. Also a possibility of shading. Now I am not impressed with the new plastic seats attached to the original metal benches. Although the metal benches we hard to sit on people have their own bleacher seats, or cushions/blankets to sit on and that was more comfortable. The seats are the size of child booster seats. There is no depth to the seat at all. No I am not a petite adult but there were people that size around and they were complaining. The depth of these seats cut into the high back of the leg causing your legs to be uncomfortable. I realize the design is to create a way for the spectator to walk to and from their seats. Most likely due to cost this design was chosen. We really hope in the future the seats will be replaced with arena-type seats where the seat flips up when standing. That way the deeper seat and room to pass through is resolved. Armrests are not required. A number of our neighbouring fans said they were going to send in comments about the "kiddy seats". I hope they do. Ending on a positive note we like what is happening there. Continued success.

We went to Play Zone today for the first time. Overall , it was an okay experience. I would like to suggest installing some lights to indicate when it is safe to go down the slides.I witnessed a few crashes and was considered that someone was going to get hurt . I believe there were lights at the old Play Zone back in the day.

Their summer camp program is tons of fun. However, they need more work on their bday packages. For what you pay, they underdeluver and it's highly unorganized. But, to be fair, the staff in charge were very apologetic and tried to make things right. Overall, City Centre is a great amenity for our community and offers the most bang for your buck for spring & summer camps. We'll keep going back. But I wouldn't have another kids party there.

I have been to the City Centre grill now a couple of times over the last month during covid. Sitting out on their patio was so nice! The staff are friendly, food and drinks were great, outdoor games were fun for everyone and there is lots of room for physical distancing. Really a great place to go!

Last time we visited, I waited about one hour for a vanilla cappuccino and my friend tried to order an apple juice but was completely ignored by the lady behind the counter...if there is no outside food allowed, then please make sure the service inside isn't that horrible.

It's got a lot of great attributes and amenities but if you have food sensitivity, allergies etc the options are severely limited bordering on none.. A bd now there's no water station it's back to overpriced plastic bottles
